Angela yawned softly as she sat up in bed, her eyes squinting a bit to adjust to the light coming from her window. She rubbed her eyes gently, spotting one of her assistants walking over to greet her. "Good morning Lady Angela. Did you sleep well?" Angela smiled brightly at her, turning to sit at the edge of the bed. "Yes of course. Is there any word from my father?" "His Majesty has requested that after you have cleaned up, you are to report to the throne room. You know..." Angela nodded her head slightly as she stepped out of bed. "Yes yes. I'm well-aware. This war has gone on for too long..." she muttered, being led out for her bath. Angela was the daughter of the King Alastor, and a mage-in-training. She had been studying magic for a few months now, though she still didn't have a strong hold on it. In fact, she was usually destroying something unintentionally.

Her bath did not take long, and soon she was being escorted once more to the throne room, clothed in a new st of clothes. She had a long white hooded robe over her head, partially hiding her long brown hair and emerald green eyes. Below, she wore a long black skirt, still easy to move in though, and didn't show off too much. She had a large tome held tightly against her waist as she walked. It contained numerous spells she had been learning, though she was still studying. Soon, they had entered the throne room, kneeling slightly in front of her father.

Standing beside her father however was not the usual general or advisor but just one knight stood there beside him. The knight was very young, looking almost like he was a new recruit however a scar over his left eye told that he had not just been drafted, as well as the gaze that his eyes had. His eyes showed that he was experienced, probably more so than many older knights in her father's command. His hair was short in the front but came down into a small ponytail in the back which was tied. His hazel eyes looked upon the princess with the look of duty but also hiding an emotion from her as the king began to talk. Saying that the day they feared has come where she must leave the castle to continue her studies. that the castle was not the safest place anymore... and that Lawrence was to be her escort.

Angela raised her head slightly, and she could see the new individual standing beside her father. He didn't seem like a general or anything, but he must have been important to have been standing beside the king. He had a certain aura about him, and it seemed that despite how young he looked, he was very experienced, and perhaps quite trusted as well. She knew that she would have to leave someday. There was a building tension between neighboring kingdoms, and many thought that there would be war. For his daughter's safety, he had assigned Lawrence to her. She only nodded slightly to her father, her eyes turning to Lawrence once more. She didn't know anything about him, but perhaps that would change over their travels.

"Now Princess" Lawrence said as he approched her slightly "We have already packed away some clothes and some of your other things. I must insist that we move now before they become to close to make escape from here impossable" he looked at the Princess right in the eyes, he was trying to show how serious it was that they leave right now. He turned to the king promicing her safe return to the castle once this is all over and he ushered her to follow him as they now headed for the stables.

Angela seemed quite surprised at the sudden need for them to leave. "W-what? Already? While I believe the same way you do, I think it is too soon!" she said, looking to him and her father, both giving her a rather serious look, and it didn't seem like they would be changing their minds anytime soon. She reluctantly followed after Lawrence, taking one last look at her father before she headed in the stables with him. "do we really have to go now?"

It was her father who nodded "Sadly yes... the enemy is getting more bold by the day and it might be impossable if you two do not leave today" he looked so torn saying this but lawrence showed no emotion. This was his mission and he needed to get her out. "Say your goodbye's' lawrence said "We must move soon"

She had taken the time to say her goodbyes to her father, wishing this wouldn't happen. However, for her safety he was sending her off, and she knew there was no way of changing his mind. She held her tome tightly as she followed Lawrence to the stables. "But, where are we going to go anyway? How will we know when to come back?"

Her father sighed and shook his head lawrence looked to her 'listen there is time for questions later we should go... please princess you do not understand how important it is we leave now..." lawrence looked almost worried about them not leaving now... were lawrence and her father holding information back? well it seemed like she might not know as lawrence took her by the arm and began to try and lead her away.
