This is one of my favorite settings, so I felt like it should have it's own thread. For my general request thread, see here.
So here is the deal. I love to play a high-ranking noble, who finds himself the woman of his dreams and then arrange to wed her, without her consent. In a medieval setting, he would make the arrangement with her father and she wouldn't have a lot of say in it in general. Maybe he has paid a big dowry for her or maybe he is just of such a high status, that her father couldn't say no to an alliance. In any case, this is the scenario, that I love.
MC will almost always be older than YC. He will also be kind of emotionally detached (at least in the beginning). He might not show this though, because he would also be a skilled manipulator. MCs often are. He would have both money and power, where YC might have money, but definitely not much power. If this is, because YC's family are only minor nobles with no land or if it because she has been brought up in a family, where women's opinions generally aren't heard...? Well, that part I am quite flexible on. Actually, I'm quite flexible on a lot of things as long as the core-idea is the same. So don't hesitate to PM me.
MC would be dominant to the teeth and he is also one to use any kind of toys, that I can realistically put into a medieval play. This most likely includes bondage. If there is something you don't want to be a part of such a play, but you are completely turned on by the rest of the setting - please PM me anyway. We might be able to work around whatever it is, that you don't like. He won't accept anyone trying to take power from him, but he might enjoy YC to try. He might like her struggling. He might also like a timid little thing, who is afraid of her own shadow. But that being said, MCs are more of 'mental Doms' - meaning that they try to get in YCs head and fuck with her there rather than simply jump her and fuck her physically. At some point, he probably will start to develop some feelings for her. Mostly protective and possessive feelings. What we make of it is up to the story.
I like realism in RPs. I like a long build-up. I also really like the smut, once we get to it, but I don't like to force it. Are we playing out their initial meetings or do we jump straight to the wedding? This depends on the story we choose to play out. I consider myself a good writer and rp'er. I do however have a strong dislike for multiple timelines in one post. I always try to eliminate them and to merge them back into one 'timeline' or 'conversation'. This also means, that I am definitely NOT the type of RP'er, who pulls out 7 paragraphs just to keep my partner happy. My comfort zone is 1-3 paragraphs. I feel, that this is, where I can comfortably give a detailed reply, that doesn't take any choices away from my partners characters.
