Favorite animes

My ultimate favorites are: Yu Yu Hakusho, Fist of the North Star, Hellsing, and Cowboy Beepbop..
They are honestly my favorite because I grew up watching them. The storylines were intriguing and the art I absolutely loved.

My Hero Academia because of the world building detail that is insane and the cast of lovable characters, I love even the villains and I actively root for them

I still love One Piece, but there are so many great animes: Bleach, Black Clover, Fate, Code Geass, Death Note, Gantz, The Promised Neverland, Sword Art Online...
They're all different, but I like all of them. I think what I love most is the exploration of the world, the dream of freedom and the struggle for survival.

Jujutsu Kaisen has been a favorite as of late. I love the power system being so simple yet so creative.

Berserk, Claymore, Mirai Nikki, Ikki Tousen, Tenjou Tenge, Violence Jack, Fist of the North Star, Helsing Ultimate, Baki the Grappler, and Kengan Ashura are my current top 10 in no particular order.

Currently my MyAnimeList TOP 10 consists of following anime:

Fate/Zero, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Cardcaptor Sakura, Aria The Origination, Mushishi, Monster, Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica and Hugtto Precure

If we extent that to TOP 25 I have on Anilist then:

Symphogear, Welcome to the NHK, Love Live Superstar, Haruhi Suzumiya-series, Monogatari-series, Steins;Gate, Fruits Basket (reboot), Psycho-Pass, Kino no Tabi: Beautiful World, Serial Experiments Lain, Non Non Biyori, Mob Psycho 100, Bocchi The Rock, Revolutionary Girl Utena and Vinland Saga

Won't give reason to each and every one of these, but for my top 3:

Fate/Zero - After starting with the 2006 Fate/Stay Night I almost gave-up on Fate, but decided to check Zero for some reason... And ended up loving it. Dark storyline with a cast of characters that have no weak link in them. Each are interesting to follow and seeing how they strive to win the Holy Grail in their own way was such a fun watch. Action is amazingand animation is top-tier as usually with Ufotable. This entry made me fall in love with Fate and TYPE-MOON.

NGE - My first anime. Gets better and better after each rewatch. I'm a sucker for genre-deconstruction and psychological shows so this scratches both of those itches. It handles the tough themes it presents wonderfully and gives an interesting look to Hideaki Anno's headspace at the time of making the series as well. GAINAX always delivered with animation and the soundtrack is filled with amazing songs. I group End of Evangelion with the series and that movie is just chef's kiss. I don't hate the last two episodes and actually really enjoy them, but would be lying if I said that as the conclusion for the series EoE wins by a huge margin.

Cardcaptor Sakura - A series that always manage to make me smile. Fairly episodic and chill show with nice bits of action, mystery and romance sprinkled in. One of the reasons I fell in love with magical girl-genre and CLAMP in general, though mostly gone through their series in manga form.

In no particular order: Yuyu Hakusho, Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z/Dragon Ball Super, Cowboy Bebop, Witch Hunter Robin, Outlaw Star, Rurouni Kenshin, Yugioh Duel Monsters, Samurai Champloo.

Arguably one of my favorite series. Dark fantasy, gripping story, badass warriors. What more can you ask for? I heavily recommend the manga. The anime ending doesn't do this series justice.
