She tried to take the beatings for her daughter however when her father's rage was going to be taken out on Myra. Her father was in and out of jail as well as a rehab center on and off. Things always seemed good when he was away... Then her mother was unfortunately diagnosed with breast cancer and died when Myra was just 15. Her father became far more violent after that and took it out on her every chance he got. She eventually took up boxing so she could defend herself. The moment she was 18 she was out of that home and tries to ignore her father every chance she gets. Of course growing up with him she is well known for being a bit more on the rebellious side.
