The doctor eyed her over his clipboard. "Uh-huh," he said, his tone not sounding convinced. "Well as I said you can wait out in the waiting room if you want, you can wait in here as well, it appears she was in a lot of pain when they brought her in and she may have suffered a concussion as well so we'll be keeping her overnight," Rachel whimpered at that and tightened her grip on Astrid's hand. "Just as a precaution." Tucking the clipboard under his arm two orderlies came in and began to wheel Rachel out, her grip wasnt strong enough to keep hold of Astrid's hand and it slid out as she was wheeled out on the bed. The doctor followed behind them, leaving Astrid alone.
Fifteen minutes later and Sarah came almost careening into the room. "Rachel!" She asked as she looked around as though expecting to see her little sister sitting in a chair instead she saw Astrid and her eyes narrowed. "You," she almost snarled. "This is just great as if Rachel doesnt have enough problems you show back up, let me guess it just happens to be a coincidence that as soon as you show back up in her life Rachel ends up in the hospital."
