He looked up at her, chocolate eyes holding mischief. "Your kind..~"

"How vague." She laughed, "So you like bubbly little kittens who rather stay home and dote than go out and see the world~?"

"No, I can see the adventure in your eyes..~ You wanna see the world, you just haven't found the right person to see it with..~" he said.

She bit her lip and tucked some hair behind her ear, "Ya wanna go to the drive in some time? Maybe the malt shop?"

"I think I could go for a nice little spin around town..~" he smiled. He jotted down his home phone number and handed it to her before he left.

She held the paper to her chest and gave a gentle sigh, "What a dreamboat..."

He headed home and allowed himself a nice little smile. Things were looking up for him now.

The next day, he foubd a note tucked into his locker. It smelled like a fancy perfume. It was a reserved spot in the piano bar Elaine worked at with a handwritten note that said "See you there, loverboy❤"
