"Cliff, man, wanna go to this bar with us tonight? There's a total bomb shell ya gotta see works there." His oldest friend, Richard, leaned against Cliff's locker after school. James and Charles moved over when they saw Richard drop by Cliff's side, James looking around before offering his pack of smokes. Richard took one and sucked on it, opting to wait to light up.
"Mm, yeah, not only are the drinks great but the view," Charles growled as he made an hourglass shape with his hands, "T' die for."

"Right on, you wanna ride or meet up?" Richard asked, "It's that piano bar on the corner of fifth and main."

"Sick. See ya, man." Richard clapped Cliff's back and grinned before heading off with James and Charles. If they hadn't told them they were going for the hot chicks, he would have thought they were going soft for frequenting a piano bar.

He chuckled to himself and later on, got only a little dressed up before he headed off to the bar.

When he got there and stepped inside, Richard, James and Charles waved him over; they had managed to snag a front row table, or maybe they stole it from another person, who was to say? "Damn, lookit you, gettin' all snazzy for a doll ya haven't met yet." James teased with a soft chortle.

They all laughed softly before Richard waved at them to be quiet. The lights on the stage lit up and the soft click of heels sounded up the stairs before the whole bar fell silent. She was definitely a tall drink of water, curly blonde hair that fell gently passed her shoulders with a floor length off shoulder evening gown with a slit that ran up to almost the top of her thigh. It was a deep forest green, complimenting her eyes and pale complexion wonderfully, with black silk elbow gloves and diamond bracelets on each wrist. She even wore pearls, how classy.

The piano started up into a rather upbeat tune for the setting and she swayed her hips smoothly to the tempo before taking hold of the microphone. "I was walkin' along~ mindin' my buisness~ when out of the orange colored sky...flash~ blam~ alakazam~ wonderful you came by~" It was sultry, low and smooth, her eyes passing over Cliff and she gave a soft smile before turning back to the whole of the room, "I was hummin' a tune~ drinkin' in sunshine~ when out of that orange colored view...wham~ bam~ alakazam~ I got a look at you~"

His heart raced as he watched her, his eyes glued to her. The cigarette dropped from his lips. Thank god it wasn't lit.

Charles was nudging Cliff excitedly, James and Richard making crude gestures about her. Of course he expected no less out of them, but she didn't seem the type to just open her legs for any old Joe who gave her the time of day. She was definitely something else.

He ignored the two of them and slowly lit his cigarette, taking a slow drag as he watched her. She was incredible.

When she finished the song, the bar was filled with applause. She gave a short curtsy before taking a sip from her water. "What did I tell ya? Total. Fox." Richard whispered.

She sang a few more songs, all of which he felt like she directed at him. What the hell was wrong with him? No girl had ever made him this goo-goo before.

The guys continued their crude remarks, oblivious to Cliff's affections, and when her performance ended, she headed off stage and to the back room.

"Just a moment!" She called before the door opened and she looked up at him. She was in a rather modest dress now, a drastic change from a moment ago, "Oh! Hello!"

He smiles back. "Hey.." Oh, his voice was smooth. "I just wanted to say sorry on behalf of the knuckle heads I was sitting with.. And that you have a lovely singing voice.."

She blushed softly and smiled, "I've seen worse, believe me.." She replied, "And thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the show." She offered her hand, "I'm Elaine...Elaine Carmine."
