Tarak Tales: The Sins of the Past

Upon seeing the inner workings of the establishment known as Leetah's, Erin fell completely silent. Her mind almost couldn't handle it. It took a moment for the gears in her head to start working once more. Immediately, she flashed a smile at the man at the door, thankful that he wouldn't be giving them any trouble. Her eyes shifted back at her companions. She was most curious to see how Sheya would react to their presence. Kohdeki was keeping his distance, which she found most amusing. He must have thought that they were going to murder him.

"Let's find somewhere to sit down," she said, immediately heading towards the tables in the back. If Kohdeki wished to be in a more intimate position for the next performance, he was more than welcome to sit by the stage. So long as he didn't plan on trying to stick them with the bill, Erin really didn't care what he did while they were here.

Personally, she had nothing against the establishment, the owners, or the customers. She wasn't even angry with Kohdeki for bringing them here. If Sheya wished to rip him a new one, she was more than welcome to. It would be more than hilarious to see. This place wasn't crowded though, she could hear herself think, and they actually stood a good chance of getting some ale. Those were the only things she really cared about at the moment.

And though she was by no means offended or upset that they were here, she would thoroughly enjoy messing with Kohdeki about it.

Sheya's eyes widened and her jaw went slack slightly. She turned to face Kohdeki with a raised brow, slight smile and an eye twitch. She shook her head slightly and turned to see Erin's expression. She was more than fine with the type of establishment, though they could use a little more quality equipment. The park was convenient. A place she would need to remember, she enjoyed parks.

Sheya followed Erin to a table in the back. She sat then turned to watch Kohdeki's next move. This place was much less stressful than the boggan probably was. Still, she was rather surprised that Kohdeki hadn't mentioned the type of environment this "Leetah's" was. Not that she minded. A head's up just would've been nice. She pulled out a chair between Erin and herself and patted the seat motioning for Koh to sit, a playfully aggravated grin on her face.

Kohdeki eyed his ginger companions suspiciously. They hadn't attacked him yet. Were they waiting until he was in a more vulnerable position? Sheya's face wasn't a comforting sight, but he took the seat anyway.

"Hey, at least this place isn't crowded like the Boggan. Plus, you two totally get discounts on private dances! Lucky!" The young thief pressed his luck with his words. "Anyways, DRINKS!"

Kohdeki waved at a waitress for a drink. He was also glad he hadn't been immediately murdered upon entering the establishment.

The attractive, scantily-clad waitress sashayed over to their table. "We have a selection of wines, beers, and ales, we have brandy and whiskey and vodka, available with various mixers." She swept her eyes over the trio and winked at Erin, just a flash of an eyelid. "The next girl will be up in a few minutes; the band is refreshing themselves at the moment."

She paused. "Is this your first time in a place like Leetah's? I figure the young man probably has been here before, but we don't get a whole lot of female traffic."

Sheya smirked slightly towards Erin before turning her gaze to Kohdeki. She preferred to order last when in a group. Especially if she wasn't paying. It gave her a sort of inner pride to see the waitress wink at Erin rather Kohdeki considering their past. She was quite a looker, the waitress as well as their saucy ginger companion. Sheya eyes only rested on Kohdeki for a brief moment before traveling up the waitress's body and to her eyes. She Laid her elbows gently in front of herself and criss crossed each of her fingers with her thumbs touching base on her lower lip softly, awaiting her turn.

Just his luck. Kohdeki wasn't even getting the female attention tonight. It wasn't a huge deal though. He was here for the drinks. He could chase tail (both physical and metaphorical) at a later date.

"I'll have two regular ales in two sep'rate glasses, if that's okay." Kohdeki said in his usual accent. "What'll you two be havin'?"

Erin indeed caught the wink, but didn't know what to think of it or how to take. So? She ignored it. Besides, there was way to much fun to be had for her to waste her time on something she didn't understand.

"That's certainly great to hear, isn't it Sheya? Seems our friend here is a little frustrated at the moment. I'm sure a show or three and he'll be doing just fine, like the rest of the guys, right Koh," Erin said, nudging him with her elbow. "You know, we're perfectly fine sitting back here at the tables by ourselves. If anyone tries anything I'll just smash their face in. Why don't you get a seat a bit closer to the stage, hm?"

It probably wasn't the best of idea's to tease the person who brought them here and would be paying for their drinks, but it definitely wasn't the wisest of idea's to bring two women to a place like this. Sheya was noticeably agitated by their surroundings and looked more than a little uncomfortable.

"I don't think either of us has been to a place like this before. And neither of us are really here for the show. Just this one," she said, nudging Kohdeki once more. She had no plans on letting up on him any time soon. "We're just here for the ale. I'll take one for now."

Contrary to the beliefs of his ginger friends, Kohdeki was indeed here for the ale. He didn't usually come here for a show unless he needed one to lift his spirits. He didn't like being teased. If he wanted some action, he'd be buying drinks for a lovely lady at the Blue Boggan. Like he usually did.

"I don't need a show, Super Red." Kohdeki said to Erin, shaking his head. "I just want'n ale. I'll come for a show when you two aren't around."

Sheya smiled at the woman as she looked up at her "One please." She said freeing her index finger from the web it was tangled in, then casually replacing it where it was resting before.
She had taken a look around and scoped her surroundings, less than thoroughly but well enough for now. Sheya relaxed her arms and slid them down to sit her forearms on the surface of the table, fingers still crossed, a content smirk plastered on her face.

"Coming right up!" said the server, and she spun on an impractically-high boot-heel and sashayed back to the bar.

The other patrons minded their own business, though there were a few appraising looks directed at the party. When a fresh group of business types came in, they expressed enough surprise to distract from the hooded figure who came through the door with them but edged over to the far corner of the bar, on the other side of the stage from where the three friends sat.

And then their ales were served, with a giggle and a wink, and then the band started up, some well-known bawdy drinking song, and one of the girls came out from the back with a small bucket for her tips and not very much else...

Kohdeki's eyes were immediately drawn to the cloaked figure. People like himself made the young thief nervous. He wouldn't say anything, but he'd definitely examine every square inch of the cloaked person in view. His gaze checked for bulges on the cloak that might give away a weapon or money location.

His attention immediately shifted back to the waitress serving his party the ale they asked for. He gave a false smile before picking up the mug and scrutinizing its contents, as well as giving it a few sniffs.

The cloaked figure was hard to see on the other side of the bar, and when the next dancer came out, it just about disappeared behind the activity and bustle. In fact, in a moment, the figure must have taken off his or her cloak, because suddenly there wasn’t anything to track.

The ale seemed good quality, aromatic and frothy. And the dancer who came up on the stage was also quite worthy of attention. The sprightly tune was perfect for her gyrations, and she was quite distracting enough.

Erin had never been to a place like this before. This was a new experience for her, one that she was actually a little fascinated by. There was the hearty music in the background, the lively patrons, and the. . .entertainment. After the first dance came to an end, and half of her ale was gone, she turned her attention to her companions. Both of whom were as quiet as ever. Odd, considering where they were. But while Sheya's quiet was normal, Koh's was not. It seemed like there was something that was bothering him.

"Hey, Koh, is something up? Is the ale bad? You think the dancer is ugly or something? Or is it because of what I said before? I didn't think something like that would get under your skin," Erin said laughing nervously. She hoped that wasn't the case. If they left and he refused to pay for her drink, she'd be in trouble. And the last thing she needed to do was get into a fist fight with the bouncers here.

"Huh? Oh. No, you're good, I was just... Distracted." Kohdeki replied to Erin before taking a sip from his mug.

He figured it'd only become a wild goose chase if he made a cloak-wearing individual out to be suspicious. He was one of them after all. Kohdeki hoped it wasn't trouble though. Shifty types like himself weren't stupid, after all; they were schemers.

((Thought it was Omerta's turn))
