After that litter came and went, Genesis was back to her usual self; ever faithful and loyal to her mate.

Soon enough, they found their rhythm, and things were normal for a bit.

"Have a good day with the rest of the council today, my love.." Genesis said as she wished Adonis farewell one morning, "The house will be lonely without you here.."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"I will try," he said, "but the council is not the most fun.." He kissed her gently and headed off.

She smiled softly and went back inside, making sure everything was tidy before retreating to the nest to wait for him.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

He was home later in the day, groaning and rubbing his neck. "I have returned.."

"Welcome home, dearest...!" She called from the bedroom.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

He smiled and moved toward the bedroom.

She was in their nest, smiling brightly when he entered, "I missed you so much.."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

He smiled and moved to lay with her, holding her close. "I missed you too.."

"How was the council?" She asked, petting his mane.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"A disaster as usual.." he said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

She gave a sympathetic noise and continued to run her fingers through the blue hued fur, "I'm so sorry.."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

He grumbled and huffed, relaxing a bit. "It's alright I suppose.. It's the standard, after all."

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"Standard?" She asked, "What do you mean, my love...?"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Ah.. It's normal for the meetings to go this way.." He said

She still looked confused, "Is there any way I can help you relax?"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Well you could worship me so well, as only you can do." He said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

She smiled and moved to undress him, "Shall I speak high praises~? Point out your greatness that others are too blind to see~?"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Please do, I could use that right about now.." He grumbled as he watched her.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"They're merely jealous of your wit, Adonis~ they are far older, after all~" She said as she folded his robes and set them aside. "Wisdom does not always come with age~"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

He made a noise and smirked a bit. "You're very right.. I'm lucky to have such an intelligent mate..~" he said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

She blushed brightly and ran her fingers through his fur slowly, over every inch of him. "You're too kind, speaking so fondly of me~"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"How can I not speak fondly of you? You're so tremendously good to me, helping me unwind after days like this..~" he said as he relaxed.

"It's my duty as your mate, is it not~? To make sure you are always happy~?" She asked, her hands trailing lower and between his hips.
