Tathlyn didn't believe the stories, nor did he think that she was some monster. Neither did he think that this needed saying based on what he had done so far. Speaking of sleep, the only downside of magic was that it was physically exhausting as well as mentally. Granted the man had not pushed himself anywhere near his limit, but it would be better to be rested if the need arose thw next day than not. But when he mentioned his plan he did not expect her to blush or doubt him so. To be fair it did sound odd, but Tathlyn had already made up his mind and it would be even stranger if he went ahead and changed his mind now.
He waited by the stairs, finally taking off the bright blue coat to hang on a brass hook screwed into the wall. Underneath he only wore a loose grey shirt and brown pants of only moderate quality. Because of his princess comment Tathlyn seemingly had her tail purposefully brushed against his waist, and she was right. He didn't know what to do about that. Teasing and playing around was simple to him, but when on the receiving end the man was often confused. So instead he just shook his head and followed the frillen up the stairs. "Hot. Burning." He looked up from the stairs, turning away after noticing that he could see up her loincloth. Stepping up to her side he reached to push her along at his side into the room with him.
A fairly standard bedroom with the bed shoved off into the corner. It was small, only a little larger than a normal one so as he now realized it would be next to impossible to sleep without touching. Twin balcony doors faced out, their panes of glass frosted in the dying light. It was still early evening, so sleeping this early seemed a shame. But upon further inspection the glass would be frosted by design, but with ice rather than permeations within the glass. With a singlr click of the lock Tathlyn could cool the entire room by turning the doorway into a solid block of infinite ice. A grand boon here in the summers. Besides that, he had two simple dressers, a self filling bath off behind a curtain, and a large, ornate green and yellow round rug. "Suitable?" He asks, the one word question all that he bothered to get out of his mouth.
