Monday morning. Just another day of school, and only a couple of months left before they were all free of the place.

An elderly man stood up at the front of his senior class, and was writing out something on the board. Chemical equations it seemed like, and half of the class seemed to only half paying attention.

"For those that aren't paying attention. Please start. A number of you are failing this class. Some of you are close to being held back your senior year. I don't think you want that to happen. Now for homework tonight." the elderly man spoke before he was writing up on the board what pages they were doing, and what problems they needed to have done for class tomorrow.

A blonde haired female sitting at the front of the class was gathering up her stuff and sliding it into her bag before she was getting up so that she could get going. A few of the students were busy talking about the upcoming game and dance that was coming up within the week. Which didn't shock her much at all, that was pretty normal for her classmates to talk about. It held no interest to her...yet again it wasn't as if she ever really had a reason to go to the school dances. Nobody tended to invite her, and even if she was invited she probably would have turned them down.

"Hey, Elise. I have a favor to ask. Could you help me study for the upcoming chemistry test? If I fail another test, my parents are going to kill me." a female with short spiky black hair came up to the blonde, which had the petite female looking over. The black haired female was a cheerleader, captain of the team, despite her tomboyish appearance.

The blonde was giving a small nod before she spoke in a soft voice, "Yes I can help you study." With that she was turning and heading out of the classroom, clutching a few books to her chest as her messenger bag bounced against her hip. People just seemed to avoid her in the hallways, although it wasn't something that bothered her, it was something that she had gotten use to. She was kind of that outsider, somebody who didn't belong to any specific clique at all.

Elise got to her locker and was putting in the combination so that she could open it up and put her stuff in there, and head off to the locker room for gym. Probably the one class that she absolutely hated since she was nowhere close to being physically active half the time. Nope she would rather spend her time in a library reading, or locked away in her room away from people, not running around a track. A small sigh escaped her lips as she headed towards the locker room, although as she was walking there she was pausing briefly by the honor roll list. Looking through it she was shocked to find that she was on the AA honor roll. Kind of a normal thing. Even trying to fail a few tests at one point in time hadn't gone the way that she wanted to.

Finally, the bell went off, signalling the end of the period. It wasn't a boring class, Jack always liked history, but as summer break grew closer and closer even typically interesting classes began to test his patience.

He quickly packed up his things and turned to the boy sitting beside him. Ian was also a member of the soccer team, and they were lucky to end up in the same class together.

"So, spare next. What do you want to do? Should we head out and grab something to eat?" They usually did that. Napping was also an option but Jack wasn't all that tired today.

"Ya sure, let's hit up Starbucks. Just have to make sure we're back for third. You got math then right? Man you're crazy. I know you can handle it but who takes math willingly?" It's true. Jack was pretty smart, and picked a bunch of fairly difficult classes in his electives. Soccer wouldn't last forever. He knew he had to prepare for something beyond that.

They were chatting about everything and nothing on their way to Starbucks, when the topic of the dance came up. Ian turned to Jack. "So, you asking anyone? I was thinking, since you never ask anyone to this kind of shit, how about we have some fun with it?" Ian was a prankster. He was always suggesting this kind of stuff.

"I was thinking maybe you ask out that little cutie. She's in your math class right? What's her name again? You know who I'm talking about right? That nerdy blonde. You should totally do it!" Ian laughed, while Jack just grinned. Ian tended to get his way on this sort of thing.

"Are you being serious? You want me to go with her?" Jack didn't sound all that surprised.

"Nah, nah man. You just got to ask her. It'll all be a joke. I just want to stir some shit up. We don't have very long left here, you know?" That left Jack silent, but grinning, and running a hand through his red hair. They made it to Starbucks and spent the rest of the period shooting the shit before finally heading back to school.

Gym seemed to go by fast enough, although not quite fast enough for the blonde haired beauty. Once it was done she was hurrying back to the locker room so that she could change back into her school outfit, showing her gym clothes into her bag to take home and wash that night. A couple of her friend fell in beside her as she left the locker room, and here came the conversation of the dance that was coming up.

Okay so they were more acquaintances than friends, more just taking to hanging around Elise because she would always help them with their homework, which lead to them getting good grades.

"So Elise, who are you thinking of asking to the dance?" Natasha questioned as the trio walked into the cafeteria. Honestly it wasn't all that unusual to see Natasha and Victoria hanging around Elise, despite her being a bookworm and keeping to herself, she definitely seemed like she could fit into the popular crowd. She had the looks that was for sure. Probably why Natasha and Victoria took to hanging around her as well.

Elise was giving a small shake of her head before she spoke, "Oh I don't think that I'm going to be going. Midterms are coming up and I have a number of projects to get done."

"Come on Elise. It is the last dance of the year! You have to come!" Victoria spoke after a moment in time, her pink lips turned into a frown which had the blonde giving a small sigh. Man this was going to be difficult to try and worm her way out of going, either way she was probably going to be stuck going, either with a guy or the two others were going to be dragging her there.

The trio waved to a few people before they were passing through the cafeteria to get to the main doors so that they could leave. Nah they weren't skipping, they were just taking advantage of their open campus. As usual.

"So who are you going to ask Victoria?" Natasha questioned after a moment in time. This had the red head thinking for a moment before she was naming off a couple of the guys on the soccer team. Of course when Natasha was asked who she was going with to the dance, the response was Ian. Yet again they were the powerhouse couple of the school.

Luckily they made it back in time. Ian took off with a wave and headed over to his next class, while Jack made his way upstairs. First, he stopped in at his locker in order to grab what he needed for math class. Then, he made his way downstairs to the class itself.

He was early today, as he didn't really have anywhere else he needed to go. This class was always a bit boring as none of his group of friends were really that good at math, and dropped the subject as soon as they were allowed. This gave him a few minutes for his mind to wander back to what Ian had suggested. It felt like a cruel joke, but what harm could it do really?

Slowly other students, and the teacher himself, made their way into the classroom. They say at their various places. Jack was still drifting in and out of thought. He was feeling a bit pressured to act it out in this class. Give him and Ian and the rest of the guys something to laugh over later. Thinking about it made him nervous though. These sorts of things never came easily to him, picking on others and that kind of stuff. Yet, despite that he was never one to turn down a challenge, or back out of something after claiming he'd do it.

Finally, he got his own books out and settled in for class. He looked around at everyone else. She still wasn't here yet. Maybe he'd get lucky and she wouldn't show. Either way, he could at least wait until after class. Something could happen during the class that could make it impossible, or highly inconvenient at least...

Elise did arrive to the math class that she shared with Jack and was walking into the room, just giving a small greeting to those that actually said something to her. But man how she hated school at that point in time, despite it being a place that she loved to be at. More because she just loved learning in general, but all the talk of the dance was getting tiresome that was for sure. Annoying almost. She wasn't quite sure the point in everybody getting so excited about something that one could do at home. Just turn up the music and dance around their rooms. They could get as crazy as they wanted, and nobody would judge them, because nobody would see.

She was drifting towards her seat towards the front of the room and setting her stuff on the desk, before walking up to the teacher to give him something, speaking to him softly. Just something about the Math Leagues, signed permission slips from the others in the math leagues stating that their parents were fine with them leaving school to go and compete at nationals. Once those were turned in she was returning to her seat, and before they all knew it the bell was ringing, and class was beginning.

Some students sat sat there boredly listening to the teacher talk, a few had decided that they were going to take naps. A few of the girls were busy passing notes back an forth. Elise on the other hand was listening to what the teacher had to say intently, although she didn't bother taking any notes at that point in time. Math was something that came very easily to her, scary easy. There were times where she almost seemed to be a human calculator, able to do some rather complex equations in her head without wasting to much time on it nonetheless.

Her attention did turn briefly towards one of the girls that was handing her a note to pass to the girl that was sitting next to her, which had her doing it easily enough. Yeah she sometimes participated in the note passing, although at that point in time it wasn't as if the teacher really cared. Hell he was only half teaching at that point in time, he was more going over some of the questions that a majority of the students had gotten wrong on the last test.

Elise did eventually end up raising her hand before she spoke, "Professor, you made a mistake" Yeah that wasn't uncommon for her to point out where a teacher, a math teacher in particular, went wrong before she was explaining briefly where they went wrong. Hey if they wanted to teach others properly, they needed to be able to show the work correctly.

A lot of the students in the class were irritated by how Elise sometimes behaved. Correcting the teacher. Getting 100% on tests with seemingly no effort at all. It irritated Jack too. It slowly added to his motivation throughout class of screwing with her.

He was taking notes himself, and trying to fight off fatigue. He needed to stay sharp as he had soccer practice after school. Math class was incredibly draining though. Even with all his work he could only manage marks in the 70s.

Looking at the clock there were only a few minutes left. After a little more lecturing the teacher started to assign the homework. He have a lot of it, surprisingly considering how close to the end they were, which elicited a groan from the class. At least, most of the class. Not Elise though.

Finally the bell clanged, and everyone began to pack up their things. Jack did so quickly, and slowly made his way forward, to where Elise sat. Might as well get it over with now. He was nervous, but kept trying to tell himself it would be fun. Should impress all of the guys, give them all something to laugh about.

"Elise, can I talk with you?" He came up right beside her desk and tried to appear light hearted, charming and a little bit flirty. He felt a lot less nervous now. Jack just wanted to see how this would go...

Elise honestly didn't seem to care if her fellow students were irritated with her for correcting teachers, or scoring good grades. It was almost impossible for her to get a bad grade. Even if she tried to answer a question wrong, it was as if her body wouldn't allow it. In the end the write answer was being written down anyways.

Hell if anybody wanted helped with math all they had to do was ask her, she was more than happy to tutor people. It got her out of her house, at least hopefully. For a bright and seemingly bubbly girl, her home life was kind of depressing. Possibly why she enjoyed school all the time, it got her away from her alcoholic mother.

She was putting stuff in her bag before looking up as somebody approached her desk and she saw that it was just Jack. A member of the soccer team. "Oh hello Jack. And sure we can talk." she spoke after a moment in time. It was the end of the day which is why everybody was migrating to their lockers so that they could grab their bags and head home.

Elise just stayed sitting in her seat at that point in time, not really wanting to be rude while he was trying to talk and standing up. Although she did look at her phone briefly to see that she had a message from her mother, not that she responded to it. It really wasn't all that important, random drunk texting that was all. Her phone was being slid into her pocket.

Jack had to be careful about how he approached this. She was being polite enough now, which made things a bit difficult. Plus, people were leaving. He needed to make sure people overheard him ask.

He raised his voice slightly to make sure the others left in the class would hear. "Well... Elise. I was wondering if you've found anyone to go to the dance with... If not, would you like to go with me?" There, it was done. No backing out now.

Yet, he'd never been this close to her before. Never looked at her this long or this closely. Underneath the nerd vibe she was actually... Very pretty. Would it be so bad going to the dance with her? He shook that thought off immediately. He'd never hear the end of it from Ian and the rest of the team. Now he just needed to think about how to make the rest of this joke a little bit funny. Should he wait a few days? Maybe break it right before the start of the dance, or during the dance? That seemed to him like the best possible option, as cruel as it was.

Elise was definitely a bit startled when Jack was asking her to the dance. That had most definitely been unexpected to say the least, and she wonder who had bribed him to ask her to the dance. Yeah she felt like it was one huge joke, but from what others told her about Jack... he wasn't that type of person. Which meant that perhaps that this wasn't a cruel joke.

"Umm no I haven't found anybody.... I actually hadn't planned on going originally." Elise spoke in a slow voice after a moment in time, although it wasn't long before she was just slowly thinking about it. "Sure I'll go to the dance with you." she spoke with a bright smile after a moment in time. Yeah it wasn't going to hurt her, at least she didn't think that it was going to hurt anything. And it got her away from her place for the night. Victoria and Natasha were probably going to end up dragging her shopping with them when they went dress shopping.

Jack was struck by a moment of guilt when she replied in the affirmative. He worked to bury it as much as he could though. He couldn't actually be seen at the dance with this girl.

"Really? I'm glad to hear that. It should be a lot of fun." He flashed as charming of a smile as he could. Starting to turn away he quickly turned back. "Would you mind if I get your phone number, email or something?" I'll contact you regarding all the info later in the week." He needed at least that. He'd have to get as much out of her as possible if this prank was going to work. Deep down, those twangs of uilt we're still gnawing away though...

Elise looked at him for a moment in time before she was fishing out a sheet of paper in which she was jotting her cell phone number down on and handing it to him. "Anyways, I should get going now. I have to get home." she spoke after she had pulled out her phone and looked at it. There was almost a slight cringe that formed on her face, but it vanished pretty quickly. With that she was grabbing her bag and getting to her feet so that she could get going. The nice thing about the weather being nice was that she could walk to and from school, not like she lived overly far away. Although that day kind of sucked since it was rainy out now, which had her wishing she had her car. But currently her car was at the shop getting a tune up. Oh well, she loved the rain. And since all of her homework was done for the day, her books were staying in her locker anyways.

Jack left at the same time as Elise, and caught a ride home with Ian due to the rain. They talked a bit about the prank, and the dance. Jack informed him if what happened but they didn't have long as they arrived at his house.

"Alright! See you tomorrow man!" Ianseemed pleased. Jack just nodded with a bit of a grin and walked inside. He wasn't planning to do anything tonight. He got his home work done in about half an hour then spent the rest of the night gaming. Didn't feel like long before it was 12 and he was off to bed...

Thankfully the night seemed to go by quickly enough after Elise had gotten home. There wasn't a lot of drama, and she was able to lock herself away in her room. Since she had nothing to do, she had taken to gaming. Yeah she was a bit of a gamer, although not many people would probably believe that. The current game she was playing? Call of Duty Zombies.

The next morning came around and she was awake with her alarm going off, and her mother screaming about something. This had the young woman giving a small sigh before she was getting out of bed and changing into clothes for the day. She was throwing stuff into a bag so that she could head to class for the day, although already her phone was blowing up with notifications from social media. Evidently the big talk of the school was Jack asking her to the dance.

Jack woke up a bit earlier than usual. Normally when he did that he'd just laze in bed until the last minute but today his mind was a buzz with a bit more energy and food for thought. He got up, showered, ate breakfast, spoke a bit with his parents and younger sister before finally checking all the status updates on his phone. It occurred to him just crazy things could get when Ian decided to put his mind to something. In the course of one night he'd spread information around to almost everyone in school...

Eventually he made his way to school. He walked. As he got closer some of the other students coming in from different places would look over at him and giggle a bit, obviously in response to what had occurred the previous day. Right now they were gossiping, wondering why Jack was doing this, but soon enough they'd know the truth, and he was sure their tune would change when that time came.

Getting into the school he made his way to his locked, got out his books for first period and decided to head to class right away. All the looks and gossiping were getting to him and at this point he just wanted to get away. Jack was hoping that by the end of first period a lot of this would have calmed down...

There were no calming rumors down at times, especially something like this. Elise made her way into the school building, just hiding behind her hair, which was actually down for the first time in a long while. Man already she was tired of the fact that people were making a huge deal out of the fact that she was going to the dance with Jack. People were like blowing it all out of proportion that was for sure, it really sucked. A few girls had already gotten into her face over it, because they were jealous that they didn't get to go to the dance with Jack.

With that she was hurrying to her locker and grabbing out her books for her first class. Honestly she was wishing that she hadn't come to school that day. With that she was walking into her first class of the day, which just happened to be a class with Jack as well. She was just going to her seat quickly and quietly, just continuing to hide behind her hair. Nope she really didn't want to talk to anybody at that point in time.

Of course, everyone was talking about it in first class. Especially given that they all shared class with Jack and Elise, not to mention they sat pretty close together in this one. However, when they both sat down neither of them actually looked at each other.

Jack definitely felt a bit nervous, being around her while all of these rumors floated around them. Then, when people saw that they weren't talking, they instantly started to talk about how maybe someone had made it all up.

Soon enough, and to both their relief, the teacher walked in, told everyone to settle down, and began class. Jack tried not to peek over at Elise but he couldn't help himself. He wanted to know how she was reacting to all of this. The more flustered she got the better the prank would work when it came down to it. Frankly, talking to her more would probably help make the prank better as well. Jack made a mental note of approaching her and talking to her after first period. He'd try to be nice, dismiss and express sympathy regarding all the rumors. It should work perfectly...

Elise just listened to the gossip that was floating around, before she was just submerging herself in reading her history book that was in front of her. Soon enough the teacher was coming into the room and everybody was falling silent, and the lesson began. She just listened to what the teacher was saying and taking notes from the powerpoint that he was currently showing the class. Then came the news that there was going to be an upcoming test on the most recent chapter that they just completed, and it seemed like they were starting group projects.

"I have decided to pair you up since last time we had a group project, the groups you picked all did terribly except for a select few." the teacher spoke after a moment in time before explaining what the project was going to be. Basically they were going to be putting on small plays. Groups of two and they were essentially going to be doing interviews.... with historical figures. So one person was the interviewer, and the other was the historical figure that the groups would get to chose. Seemed like a simple enough project but the interview had to be at least ten minutes, and you couldn't read from a sheet of paper. You had to know the stuff essentially. "This is the final project, and final test basically." the teacher spoke.

After that was said he started to write names up on the board after consulting a sheet of paper. In the end it seemed like Elise and Jack were a group. This had a hidden sigh escaping Elise. How she hated group projects since she was the one who was usually doing all of the work. Hopefully Jack would actually do some of the work, although even if he didn't she would end up covering the missed work. Usually how it went when she was in a group, it was more expected of her to do all of the work. Dependent on who she was paired up with.

"I suggest getting a start on this sooner rather than later. Granted it isn't due until next month but here is an outline of the stuff that you will need to cover in your interview. And also there is a way to get an extra ten points per group, and that is by dressing up in proper attire for that historical figure." the teacher spoke before he was passing some papers out then stating that they had ten minutes to get with their partners to figure out who they wanted to interview.

Jack enjoyed history class. If anything it was one of his favorite subjects. He didn't like these sorts of projects though. Performances were never really his thing. He sighed to himself as the teacher began assigning the groups. When the teacher came to Elise, and mentioned that she'd be paired up with him, he began to wonder if this was some sort of joke. Had the teacher heard about the rumors too? Was this his way of poking a little bit of fun at his class? Everyone else began to whisper and giggle when they heard about Jack and Elise getting paired up.

Eventually the teacher finished listing off the groups and let everyone rearrange themselves to talk a bit with their partners. Jack slowly and no too excitedly moved his stuff over to where Elise was sitting, and sat down next to her. They didn't talk for a few minutes. Both of them were still a little shell-shocked from having been paired up with one another. He was thinking to himself about what he should say. He wanted to get good marks in this class and fully intended to hold his own on this.

"So... Any preferences on what you'd like to do?" He paused slightly before continuing. "I think we should probably start by deciding on who we'll be doing the project on. If we choose a woman you can play her, and I'll be the interviewer. If we choose a man then vice versa... Does that sound alright to you?" He tried to make himself sound a bit happier about being paired with her, but he could see on her face she wasn't all that pleased with the idea of group projects either.

Of course the class would be whispering and giggling about the fact that the pair had been paired together. Man how annoying they were. It wasn't long before Jack seemed to be coming over and sitting next to her, and there was just silence for a brief moment in time. She wasn't so much silent because she was shocked that she was paired up with him, more like a list of historical figures were running through her head. The nice thing about this project was that it could be anybody from any period of time it seemed like. No barriers, which made it even more fun....dependent on how much you enjoyed history and if you liked to delve deeper into stuff. When he had come over she had actually been writing in her notebook as well, and it one would look to see what she would writing, they would see that it was a list of names.

"I don't personally care. There are just so many to choose from. We could either do somebody that almost everybody would think to do, because they are so well known. Or we could go with somebody smaller, who did great deeds but never quite made it into history." Elise spoke after a moment in time before she was tearing out the sheet of paper and handing it to him, so that he could look through the list of names. There were a number of well known names there, but there were also some not as well known names. "I think it would be fun to do an interview with a witch doctor from back when the bubonic plague was around." Elise hummed after a moment in time. A historical figure in their own right.

Jack took the list and read through the list of names. Some of them looked pretty good, whereas others didn't really interest him all that much. He thought a bit when she mentioned the witch doctor.

"It's a bit grim isn't it? A witch doctor during the bubonic plague?" He had always been more interested in war figures from ancient history. Strategists, warrior kings, and other types of people who could fit on that list.

"Wouldn't you prefer someone a little bit more exciting? Maybe a Chinese Emperor or Japanese Shogun? It doesn't have to be somebody everyone would think to do, but we can still do a grand historical figure. There are lots of amazing historical figures that no one has heard about." Something told him she probably wouldn't go for it though. He wasn't in the mood to get into an argument over this with her though. If she really pushed for it, he would concede without much argument. He wrote up his own list of names and handed it back to her. None of them were from recent history as he much preferred ancient history. However, there were some names of famous pirates on the list. He always enjoyed the golden age of piracy.

Elise just looked towards him for a moment in time before she spoke, "Sure it is grim but... no worse than some of the things that happen in this day and age either." With that she was giving a small shrug before listening to him when he mentioned doing somebody a bit more exciting, and it wasn't long before he was writing up his own list of names.

This had her looking through the list for a brief moment in time. There were a number of names that that had come to mind, although she hadn't jotted them down at all. Reading through it she noted that there were a number of pirates on the list, which was an interesting thing to write down. And possibly not something that many would even consider doing. With that she was fishing a different colored pen out of her bag and making a couple of stars by some of the names that he had written down. "Any one of the starred ones I would be fine with doing.. Everybody on the list have interesting backgrounds in the end. If I could just put together a small book containing information about the twenty or so names we complied, I would most definitely do that as well." Elise spoke after a brief moment in time.

Who would figure that she would be the type of person to be looking at her phone during class, but at that point in time the teacher didn't really care. They had to figure out who they wanted to do anyways, and phones helped with the research. She saw that she had a message from her mother, although it really didn't make all that much sense. Either she was drinking again, autocorrect really hated her, or talk to text really hated her. Usually one of those three options.

Jack was a bit surprised that she hadn't shut down some of the names on the list. He was beginning to feel a bit more comfortable with the whole situation, and was visibly starting to relax. He looked over the ones she had starred. A lot of them were some of his favorites, and had a lot of potential when it came to this project.

"Alright, how about I take the first ten names on the list, and you take the second set of ten. We can do research on those names for a few days, then come together and discuss which one we should actually do." Talking about that, and realizing this was indeed a long-term project made him remember that it wouldn't be long before he was intending to pull a huge prank on her, one that would probably leave her hating him. It would end up making working with her on this a lot more difficult. Either way, they still had to get through this project. They probably wouldn't do so well, but at this point his history mark was pretty good and he could handle dropping a few points as a result of this project.

When she took out her phone he did the same, and noticed he had messages from a ton of people all trying to confirm that he was going to the dance. It didn't seem like many of them were privy to it being a huge joke, only a few of his close mates on the soccer team, and Ian. He took some time to message a few people back and decided he'd get a hold of all the others after class. Explaining all of this to everyone wasn't an option. If it got out that it was a prank, then it would lose its intended effect. He made sure to hide a few of the messages from Elise, lest she get a good glance at some of the messages talking about what he intended to do to her.

Looking up from his phone he noticed class was about five minutes from finishing. It seemed like they'd been doing research for a lot longer than he'd thought.

"That wouldn't work since the teacher wants to know who each group will be researching today, so that no two groups are doing the same person." Elise pointed out after he had made his suggestion. No she wasn't dismissing the suggestion, but it wouldn't work with what the teacher wanted them to do. So they would have to figure out who they wanted to do before the end of the class period. Yet they were one of the only groups left that really had yet to decide, looking at the board told her that many of the other groups had decided. There was the name of a historical figure written up next to the groups' names. A lot of the names were from historical figures that were in the history books and that everybody should know everything about already.

With that she was just giving a shrug then spoke, "Anybody on the list I'm fine with. You can decide." she spoke after a moment in time before she was looking at a few messages on her phone. Natasha and Victoria asking if she wanted to go shopping to find dresses after school, shame that she couldn't. And she probably had a dress stashed away somewhere in her closet that she could wear. There was a period of time where she had tried to "fit in' with the popular crowd, although found it to be too much. So she still had some of the clothes that she had bought, although she rarely wore them. They weren't really her style at all.

"Oh ya that's right, sorry about that." He'll admit that he wasn't exactly paying attention while the teacher was introducing the project. At least she wasn't being patronizing about it. Thinking about how she was being rather kind and open started to bring back that sense of guilt over what he'd be doing to her at the dance. Should he really be doing this? It was something Ian would do, for sure, but Ian was known for being a bit of an ass. Or a huge ass, depending on who you were. Did he really want to do something he would do?

"Alright, well, I think I've narrowed it down to two people then, depending on if you want to do a male or a female. I'm thinking Anne Bonnie if you'd like to do a woman, or Charles Vane if you'd like to do a man. I mean, we could also do Blackbeard if you wanted someone who's name the rest of the class will at least recognize. I'll let you pick from the three." Jack admired all of them so he'd be more than happy working on either of those three people.

He was still getting messages on his phone, and class was just about finished. It would probably end right when they decided on who they'd pick. Then he could reply to these messages and get out of what he felt like was an awkward situation partnered up with Elise.

Elise tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear before she just studied the three names then spoke, "I really don't care who does the interviewing, and who plays the historical person. We can do Charles Vane if you want to be the one to dress up. And no we should go with names that the class wouldn't recognize. Not going to hurt anybody here to learn about something new." With that she was just looking at the teacher as he came over to see if they had decided on a name, and was commenting that he couldn't wait to see their interview.
