The Circus (Lunar&Guardian)

Kimiko had eventually sensed her husband's return, although this is when she noticed that she had been asleep for a couple of hours. This had her actually getting up and she was drawing on a robe, and was actually heading towards where she sensed him. No she didn't enter the room all the way, just stood in the doorway with the robe held around herself at that point in time. No she felt that familiarity in that soul sliver which actually had her putting a hand to her lips as though to stop herself from crying.
 
"don't come any closer Kimi I have to finish this work" Jace's voice was distant and hollow almost as if he was a spirit himself and until he was done working he was it would be after he left the room that he would take a physical form once again
 
Kimiko just watched for a moment in time before she spoke, "I know... I remember...." Her voice was low though, and she made no move to get any closer, but she made no move to leave either. She didn't want to leave.
 
it took several minutes but Jace was able to stabilize him "you have two choices I can either leave him to become a ghost or I can give him a physical form so he can be with his family but he will hold no powers so he will have to stay out of this battle"
 
"Either way.... He voluntarily gave up his powers. He gave them to Kitiara before he died. He made his decision. But.... I...." Kimiko started before she was shaking her head slightly. No she didn't know which would make him happier, what he would prefer. Which life would he prefer to live. This had her reaching out to Kitiara to inquire what her sister thought about it which had Kimiko silent for a moment in time. No it seemed like even his girlfriend was like the sisters had been, she was wishful that he could still be saved. This had her looking towards Jace before she spoke, "Kit and I wish for him to have a physical form. But..... not at the cost of your own health. That is not something that he would wish for either."
 
Jace turned and walked over to her but he made no move to touch her "I will be weak for two hours Arisa knows what to do when that happens but I will recover now your brother will be a different story he will be weak for a long time and will need to go somewhere safe somewhere where no one can get to him to recover" Jace then turned and walked back and she would feel a surge of power flowing in to the small shard of his soul her found and soon he was walking to the door gently motioning for her to back up so he could step out of the room
 
Kimiko was just looking towards him as he was mentioning that Rafe would need to go somewhere safe for a while, somewhere where nobody could get to him. "I know just the place in that case. He can go and stay with mother." she spoke after a moment in time before she was backing away so that he could step out of the room.
 
Jace nodded his head and then he walked out of the room the second he did his physical form returned and he fell to the floor his legs having given out "don't be upset with me he needs a few days to form and then he can be moved"
 
"Why would I be upset with you?" Kimiko questioned as she was hurrying over to him and just kneeling down on the ground near him, although she didn't touch him, not yet. Not until he told her that it was safe.... although for some reason, something deep down was telling her that it would be fine. She was actually moving closer to him and wrapping her arms around his neck, and was just mumbling that she was glad to know that he was alright as well.
 
Jace wrapped his arms around her and well and just held on to her "I am so glad you listened to those who warned you not to touch me when I got back" Jace then moved her back and kissed her lovingly "let your sister know he is safe but that is all no one else needs to know where he is going or that he will have a physical form"
 
Kimiko just looked at him before she spoke in a soft voice, "Even had I touched you.... something told me.... that I would have been safe." Not that she would have tested out that theory but something deep down told her that she would have been perfectly safe. With that she was just giving a soft smile before she spoke, "Come on... Lets get to our room, unless there is something more you need to do. You need to rest."
 
"no there is nothing else that need be done and love you wouldn't have been safe" Jace moved to stand up and then he used the wall to keep himself up right so that he didn't fall over and he didn't want her supporting his weight
 
Kimiko was going over to help him get back to their room. Even if help was needed, it wouldn't take long to get a couple of the guards there to help either. God knows they were always at the beck and call.
 
Kimiko was helping him as she could and once they were in their room, she was going over and sitting on the edge of the bed next to him.
 
"I'll define love I just need some sleep be glad his soul wan't marked for rebirth" Jace hated altering those souls as he was weak for days if not longer
 
"That would have been something we wouldn't have wanted you to tamper with then. If that was the case then, we would have left it at that." Kimiko spoke after a moment in time before she was getting him to lay down, and sitting with his head on her lap, just gently stroking his hair.
 
"I know but you both miss him so much I would have done it anyway I don't like seeing you or your sister upset" Jace knew that she would have been pissed if he had but then again she would have been happy as well
 
Kimiko just looked towards him before she spoke, "Everything happens for a reason. The fact that we were even able to find a fragment.... now that is something of a miracle in itself." She just continued to gentry stroke her hair, and was just humming softly as she leaned back against the headboard of the bed.
 
"Sleep then love." Kimiko spoke in a soft voice, and was just gazing out the window from where she was sitting.
 
"I will once I am certain everything is going perfectly with his reformation" Jace didn't want something to happen and him not be there to fix it
 
Kimiko just looked down at him for a moment before she spoke, "And if you don't get some rest, and stuff isn't going perfectly, you are going to overwork yourself and collapse. It won't be the first time. The last time you did that, you were unconscious for three days. And let me tell you, things are chaotic here when you aren't conscious. I don't know who you think will take over if anything happens to you."
 
Jace chuckled a little and then nodded his head "that is true it was rather chaotic" Jace then agreed to lay back and rest but he insisted that she rest as well
 
"Because most of your people really don't like me at all. They only put up with me because I'm your wife. Or because you are around." Kimiko spoke, although he probably wouldn't really know what had all occurred while he had been unconscious and she had been attempting to keep the peace. Her handmaiden could attest to the rudeness of some people, the physicality of some of the others. A majority of the guards at least liked her, which was a good thing.
