Aaron had looked over when there was a startled gasp just in time to see the vines act, although there was another younger servant, who had witnessed everything who was stepping in to defend Anna. Explaining that Tatiana had just suddenly collapsed and that Anna had only done that to make sure that the other female was safe at the time. This had Aaron looking over for a moment although there was a frown deepening on his lips. Why had his daughter passed out was the question. His eyes flickered towards the food for a moment before he spoke, "Being that is sitting near you, my assumption is my daughter got it to share with you. Now I have three questions, and please answer truthfully. Did she eat any of it? Did you eat any of it? Did she collapse before or after having something to eat?" He was sending the servant who had defended Anna to go and fetch Greg right away. This had the young woman hurrying off before she finally managed to find the man, on the opposite side of the ballroom. "Lord Greg, the king wishes for you at his side. Right away." the servant spoke as she bowed, and apologized for interrupting.
 
Greg silently thanked the gods he had called for him and then walked off following the servant even though he didn't really need to.


"yes, no and after" Anna gave him three simple answers to his questions since she figured that they would tall him what he wanted to know
 
Aaron gave a small nod before he questioned, "Did anything unusual happen in the last few minutes?" This was definitely a different man from what he had been earlier. Concern for his child in his voice and on his features. This was the man that he had use to be, the caring and gentle person. This was also the man that would be more willing to listen to ideas and suggestions.

The servant lead Greg through the crowd although instead of leading him to where the king was at, she was leading the male over to where Tatiana was at, already knowing this is where the king would send him. "My lord may I make a suggestion?" the maid spoke as she looked towards the king. With that she was pointing towards Anna then spoke, "Why don't you have her become handmaiden to Lady Tatiana? This way Lady Tatiana can keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't use her abilities however she wants, but you still have her in the palace." And hopefully this would keep Aaron from wanting to kill Anna if she was around Tatiana, since she was sure that the young princess would cover for Anna as needed.
 
"we will see that all depends on who she truly is I doubt the name we know her by is her true name the princess was going to look in to it for me" Greg looked up at Tatiana and wondered how he was suppose to guard her if she was out cold and well out of his reach. Greg sighed and wondered how they were going to her her down from there with out her getting hurt. Greg figured they would have to wait till she woke up or until the girl who had put her there had the strength to get her down from there.

"A serpent tried to keep her form sharing the food with me" Anna moved back a little as the king had gotten close to her while asking his questions and it made her a little uncomfortable
 
This had a small frown forming before he was summoning his other mages so that they could get Tatiana down and was then calling over his poison tester. This appeared to be a young man a little over eighteen years old with short blonde hair and he was popping one of the treats into his mouth, no hesitation. No like drugs or poisons affected him at all, which is why he was perfect for testing for it. "Yes it appears that the food was drugged. It puts whoever takes it into a comalike state. It is hard to tell how long one is it in. If this servant was trying to stop that female from sharing with Miss Tatiana....." the young man started. "That means that it was my own precious child that was the target this time." Aaron spoke, his voice a mixture of fear, concern, and anger.
 
Anna looked at him blankly like it had taken all of that for him to figure out she was the target of a poisoning. Anna then looked at the mages and smiled they would get lashed at if they tried to get her down. Anna was the only one who could bring her down and it would take little bit of time to get her strength back to do so
 
Not that Tatiana was really up there for overly long, not with the strange new magic that she had inherited seeming to react to the other magics around her. It was wrapping around her protectively before she just seemed to vanish. If one went looking for her they would find her in her own chambers, resting in bed. Her magic seeming to pulse around her in a protective manner, which would stop hostile attempts towards her life whether they were physical or magical.
 
Greg noticed she had vanished and decided to check her room before alerting her father to the fact she had disappeared. after running up the steps Greg walked in to the room and looked over at her bed and let out a sigh when he spotted her there he then lifted her head up and helped the small kitten out from under her so she could lay next to her owner
 
Not that the kitten was really being laid on, instead she had moved and was more curled up between her shoulder and neck, but it still kind of looked like she was being laid on. Luna was giving a small meow at the male before she was moving a bit and curling back up next to her owner, who seemed unharmed, just unconscious at the time. Even Greg would be able to see the faint magic that seemed to float around her, but at the time it was harmless. Not even the kitten seemed phased by it, which was saying something.
 
Greg moved out of the room and headed back to the ball room to let the king know she was ok and resting in her room. Greg could't help but wonder who had tried to poison Tatiana
 
Aaron was looking over as Greg returned to the ballroom before he was just looking around at everybody else that was in the room at the time as well. "Do you remember what the servant looked like that had given the food over?" he questioned as he looked at Anna.
 
"You are unhelpful. But go figure from a slave." Aaron spoke after a moment in time before ordering one of the others to get her out of his sight before he was turning to walk away from where he had been standing. Time to go and get his own drink, and a small bite to eat.
 
"I may not have but my plant did and they will always stand by me" Anna smiled as she was taken out of the ball room and back to the medical room
 
"Good for you. I want all of the plants in this fucking palace burned and destroyed." was all Aaron ordered before he was turning on his heel and snapping at everybody to leave, that the party was over. Talk about having a complete three-sixty attitude change at that point in time.
 
"then you will never find out who did poison her" Anna looked at him and then thanked the nurse for helping her. Anna still felt weak even though the collar was fading and she couldn't help but wonder why.
 
"I have my own ways of discovering why." was all Aaron could say before he was watching as she was taken out of the room, before he was looking towards his mages for a moment in time. While this all happened, Tatiana found herself lost in a dream, more like communicating with the magic that lay within her. A strange sensation but that was the truth of the gems. There was so much magic, that it could create a manifestation of itself. No Tatiana was under the impression that the magic within her, was in truth a powerful entity that had long been sealed away. She was sitting up after a moment in time, which had the kitten giving a small meow. "I'm sorry Luna." was all Tatiana could say before she was snapping her fingers and her runes on her door kicked in, which would stop anybody from entering.
 
Greg headed down once he heard her talk to her cat. "your majesty your daughter is awake but she has sealed her room so I can't tell you how she is doing" Greg looked at the mages "well find out who drugged the princess" Greg knew they could as a group look in to the past and see what happened and who had drugged her and that would give the king his target
 
Aaron just looked towards Greg for a moment in time before he spoke, "I don't blame my child for locking herself away." With that he was looking at the mages and shooing them off so that they could get their job done.
 
"neither do I your majesty she has been through a lot today but if I may have a moment of your time I wish to discuss something with you" Greg was going to let him know about his concerns about who Anna was and hopefully Tatiana would be able to confirm them soon
 
Aaron was giving a small nod before he spoke, "And my assumption is that once again this is about that damn slave that everybody seems so overly fascinated with, despite the fact that I literally see nothing special about her. At all." He did look over at one of his other maids as he was reporting that all of the plants in the palace had been burned, except for the ones within Tatiana's chambers, but getting in there wasn't possible. And she was the only one that could use magic within her chambers, all other magic got cancelled out completely.
 
"it is but not because I am fascinated mearly curious so I did see digging in the archives and I found a clan of elves that had lived her most were killed during the move underground as they rebelled but one from there the records are shotty at best but if she is the child of the clans leaders that means she has some powerful magic in her magic that lets her control both plants and sun light" Greg showed him the information he had gathered and pointed to Anna's name "I think this is her Tatiana is going to verify with magic for me"

Aaron just studied the information for a moment in time before he thought about it then spoke, "Yeah nope really don't care at all. And if she is from a family that rebelled once, I can foresee her causing another rebellion. So an even better reason for her to die. Do not waste my daughter's time looking into some slave's background. She has more important things to be doing." With that he was striding off, his way of saying that the conversation was done at that point in time.

"if she is who I think she is she has the potential to be more powerful then your daughter" Greg wondered why the king didn't want to harness her powers to use them but he wouldn't argue with the king he would just wait and see what happened
 
Aaron just looked over for a moment in time before he spoke, "Even more reason for her to be killed. She is a threat. Thank you for telling me of the threat. And no I don't foresee that happening. Not with the new magic that Tatiana obtained. That gem was the Gem of Darkness locked away long ago. The only magic that can equal that is the Gem of Light. Neither can surpass the other, they can only balance each other out. That is how yin and yang works. And if your research is right, that is the only reason that the slave's magic is so strong, she possesses the Gem of Light." This was how the world worked. There always had to be harmony. Something of light couldn't be stronger than dark, or vise versa. Which is why he wasn't worried about the slave being stronger than his daughter. Already Tatiana was above apart of the God tier mages, which was a rare few that made it to that level. But there was no surpassing that at all. And even then all those mages in that tier were equal in strength, but that wasn't to say that one couldn't easily beat the another. It was all dependent on how much magic one truly knew, and how talented their truly were.
