Skyrim: The Prophecy (John and I only)

Faenia gave a faint chuckle before she spoke, "And I am grateful that you are respectful of that. Some men are not so polite about it." This actually had her shuddering slightly, and one of the elder priestesses was rubbing her arm gently to distract her. Yeah Faenia had almost had her virginity forcibly taken from her number of years ago, but thankfully somebody had come to her rescue. Actually it had been Shaea at the time who had come out of nowhere and helped her. Probably why she found herself wanting to become friends with the woman, and this was before Shaea had been named as the Sybil.

Her attention turned briefly towards Madeline and then towards Magnus as he made his comment about how he would sit there and wait for her return. "I shall be back shortly." Faenia spoke with a bow of her head before she was picking up her robes and hurrying off, disappearing behind the doors to head down into the inner sanctum. Although after she did that some of the others were talking to Madeline. The woman gave a shake of her head before she spoke, "Never have I heard our Sybil sound so spooked before. Whatever Dibella showed her.... terrified her."

Magnus smiled at Faenia's reply and said "I am a night sweet heart, I would never do such a thing to you so do not worry" He then gently patted her on the head before she walked off just watching as she did so. "Damn those priestliest of Dibella are some super hot babes..." Magnus thought to himself as he sat down on one of the stone chairs. He just let the priest walk away, making sure not to follow them. He couldn't help but be interested, but he knew it was for the best that he stay behind.

It wasn't long before Faenia was came back upstairs with Shaea following after her. Although the Sybil was moving past everybody and going outside so that she could look up at the sky. "This isn't good." Faenia spoke before she was explaining everything that Shaea had told her, especially about the evil.

As Faenia came back Magnus stood up from his chair as he could see the worry in their eyes. "What's not good" he replied before listening to what Faenia had to say. Honestly Magnus was in disbelief, he couldn't believe that him and Shaea had some sort of connection. "So... your goddess told you this? No offense but this seems a little unbelievable. Honestly I have never met Shaea before, besides this mission we have no connection what so ever. I just don't understand." Magnus said clearly a little taken back by everything.

Faenia looked towards Magnus for a moment before she spoke, "One of the omens was the darkening of the sky. If you go outside... the proof is there. I noticed that earlier that it seemed a lot darker than usual. And you may believe what you wish but I know the words Shaea speak are true. The Goddess does not speak, the Goddess shows our Sybil what it is she wants her to know." With that she was watching as Margaret was walking up to Shaea as the other female came back into the temple, the pair of them just talking softly about something, but it was obvious that Shaea was distressed. "The sky gets darker.... it is very strange and eerie. And bad. The sun being covered means vampires are more likely to attack as well." Margaret mumbled before she was folding her arms across her chest before she was drawing Shaea in for a hug and cooing something at the female, then was looking towards Magnus. "I know of the weapons that were mentioned. The Sword of Aeons and Archon's Dream. Calcemo has mentioned them in his books a few times. It is said that they are actually buried deep within Markarth in the dwemer ruins. But everybody who has gone in there has never returned." Margaret spoke after a moment in time.

Magnus had taken note of the darkening sky, though honestly he thought it was just some clouds or maybe an anomaly. "Yeah I honestly thought it was the weather or something.... and still do... I figured that is why the vampires attacked in the first place..." Magnus replied. He then listened to her talk about the swords in the dwermer ruins and just scratched his head. "Alright I will play along with your porphecy or what not... though I am not a member of the cult of Dibella.... I will do it for extra money or maybe some private time with some of the beautiful women of Dibella?" Magnus said. It would take a lot more than a dark sky to convince Magnus of some prophecy. He was a skeptic at heart, though honestly he had a bad feeling in his gut he couldn't shake about all of this. He just hoped it was his imagination.

Margaret looked towards Magnus for a moment in time before she spoke, "We have taken sacred oaths to not be spending any "private time" as you say with any men. I already know your intentions. You are just like every other man out there. Think with only one of your two heads, and it isn't the one up top."With that the elder priestess was turning and striding off which just had Faenia and a few others staring after her, a few of them whispering that she had been a bit cruel. "Then if you do not believe, here is what you are owed for the rescue. One of the others shall escort you out of the city, and you can return to that of the Dawnguard." Shaea spoke after a moment in time as a bag of gold coins was brought out and set on the ground. This had Faenia looking over towards Shaea and questioning, "What do you plan on doing?" "Finding those weapons of course. Dibella would not have shown me them had they not been important." Shaea spoke before she was disappearing off back into the inner sanctum, which was connected to the chambers were they slept so that she could change into something other than her priestess robes.

Magnus just laughed at her "I was joking, your to fun to play around with honestly you priestess are just so serious. I will go retrieve your swords, my payment will be that I get to keep the sword of my choosing for myself. If there is only one sword then I will keep that one. Do we have deal or not?" Magnus replied. Honestly he was a bit surprised about just how uptight these priestess where. These talk about Dibella, prophecies and what not wasn't ringing with him. Though is there was a powerful weapon to be had, Magnus would happily take part in what ever adventure they wanted. Either way he would have to send message to the dawnguard and let them know.

Shaea looked towards him for a moment after she returned before she spoke, "The Sword of Aeons and Archon's Dream are no mere trinkets. They have possessed previous users many times. These weapons in the hands of anybody could either be used to destroy the world, or safe it. It all depends on their intent. The weapons read that intent, and they strengthen it." She took to pulling her hair up into a ponytail so that it didn't fall in her face and looked towards Faenia, who had a worried look on her features. "Are you sure you want to go there?" Faenia questioned in a soft voice. "Have some faith young one." Shaea spoke then looked at Margaret as the female came up out of nowhere once again before the elder priestess was speaking, "Dibella has kept this Sybil alive so far, considering you can't get her to sit still and not want to go on some crazy adventure." "Dwemer ruins are fun. There is so much to learn about them still, including learning the full truth behind their disappearance." Shaea spoke with a small huff before she was giving a faint giggle before accepting the few health potions that Margaret was handing to her. Not that Shaea usually used them at all, but she took them with to make the woman feel better.

"I want to protect people, if I didn't I would have left the Dawn guard a long time ago and started life as a mercenary. I resolved to protect the people of Tamriel a long time ago. If what you say about the swords are true then it will do nothing less then strengthen my already strong resolve." Magnus replied. At this point Magnus just allowed the girls to figure out whether or not they where going to let the Sybil go. Though at the end of it all it seemed like she was going to go anyways so Magnus came up behind Shaea and slap her on the butt and said "Lets get going, you need to hurry up I cannot stay away from the guild for to long, I will send out a letter then we will leave."

With that Magnus walked over to a flat surface and began to write a letter. Once he finished he walked over to the ladies and handed one of them the letter. "Please send this back tot he dawn guard." Magnus requested.

Who would have figured that Magnus slapping Shaea on the ass would result in him getting slapped across the face by the young woman. "Keep your filthy hands to yourself." she hissed after a moment in time before she was turning on her heel and striding away from him, her ponytailed hair swaying behind her as she did so. This had a few of the woman putting hands to their mouths to hide the laughter at that point in time. Margaret was the one who spoke openly, "She is as fiesty as always." "An unorthodox priestess but Dibella has blessed her anyways. Only she would leave to venture into ruins to find weapons of pure evil." Faenia mumbled after a moment in time which had a few other the others just giving nods of their heads. One of the eldest priestesses spoke, "Safe travels to you both." With that she was taking the letter and looking towards Margaret who stated she would flag down the courier.

As Shaea slapped Magnus he just chuckled a bit as he rubbed his cheek. "A feisty one huh? I like that!" He replied to her comment. Letting her walk off, he would never force himself on her, but he would tease the hell out of her. Magnus then turned to Margaret and said "Oh yeah, you can say that again. Though that feisty nature of hers will come in handy if we run into combat". He then nodded to the priestesses before waving off and waving goodbye as he followed after Shaea to the Dwermer ruins.

Once he caught up with Shaea he said "You priestesses are so up tight huh? you need to learn how to let loose and have some fun you know that?"

Margaret looked towards him before she spoke, "I wouldn't push it if I were you. Shaea is the one to stand by idly and allow somebody to back her into a corner. She never has been." With that she was handing the letter over to the courier that arrived with instructions to deliver the letter to the Dawnguard and was giving him some gold coins. Partial payment, and upon return to state that the letter was delivered would he get the rest of his payment.

Shaea just looked towards the male for a moment in time before she spoke, "How we act is of none of your concern. Because once this is all said and done, you can be on your merry way since you don't believe what is to happen. Best hope that which every weapon takes a liking to you, it doesn't corrupt you." With that she was heading off to the Understone where she was heading up a set of stairs towards where an elderly man was talking with somebody. The great grandson of Calcemo, a scholar who had a love for all things Dwemer.
"Oh good eve, Priestess Shaea. Venturing into the ruins again? Safe travels. Here are a few teleport spells if needed. Use them and they will bring you back outside to this location." the male spoke and was handing the scrolls over which had her tucking them into her bag before she spoke, "I'll bring you back some dwemer stuff if I find anything that you don't have yet."

Magnus turned to Margaret and said "I don't plan on pushing her into a corner don't worry. I just enjoy teasing that is all, just a friendly poke now and then. Also thank you very much for taking care of the letter for me. When I come back we will see if your prophecy is true or not... at least about the swords." He then caught up with Shaea quickly where their conversation took place.

Magnus chuckled a bit before replying to Shaea "It is my concern at the moment since we are going on this little exploration together now isn't it? and I think I can handle the weapon honestly. My biggest concern is actually getting the both of us out alive. I know you are not weak, but if I come back alone it will bring shame to me and the Dawn guard." Once they reached Calcemo Magnus just let the two of them talk. Magnus didn't really see a need to say anything, especially to someone he had never met and never planned on meeting again.

"One cannot hold onto both. They will not allow it." Shaea spoke before she was giving a wave to the wizard before she was heading off towards the bridge that would lead them to the doorway into the dwarven ruins. When the dragonborn had been alive, the ruins hadn't been able to be excavated due to a giant spider that had lived near the entrance but since that was killed, people were able to venture a little farther into the ruins so that they could explore. Although half the time they tended to not venture overly far in, not sure what kind of mechanical monstrosities that they would run into. The machines that had been built by the dwarves were still functional, and had minds of their own almost.

"I only plan on holding onto 1 don't worry sweet heart" Magnus replied as he followed the priestess. As the crossed over the bridge he couldn't help but ask "So tell me how much do you know about where we are going? I mean tell me we have some sense of direction, because if not this could take us weeks. I have heard stories of the dwermer ruins. Easy to get lost, even easier to get stuck and killed."

Shaea looked at him for a moment before ahe spoke "I have a general idea. I've ventured into the ruins a few times, made it a decent length in before retreating." With that she was walking up to the door that would lead to the excavation site. From there they would need to deal with a giant spider before they could go deeper into the ruins.

"Alright then I will trust you to lead the way but do me a favor and let know when something is coming why don't you?" Magnus replied to her comment as they came to a large door. "So do we open it? or is it rigged like so many other Dwermer ruins are?" Magnus asked.

"These doors we just open. These lead us into the excavation site. We aren't quite into the ruins themselves yet." Shaea spoke as she was pushing the doors open and walking inside. Leading him down a short hallway and up some stairs, they came upon a large room after a short bit covered in cobwebs, and a large spider could be seen in a giant hole up in the ceiling. "Past that spider is the doors that will allow us to enter. For a while this spider was never here, it just showed up a few months ago...and is the exact reason why many haven't ventured here."

"Oh I see so then nothing to worry about yet" Magnus replied with. That was until they reached the room full of spider webs and he noticed the giant frostbite spider hanging from the ceiling. "Yeah... great.. well the good thing about those spiders is they are often not as tough as they look.... well at least most of the time... just get behind me for now" Magnus said as he drew his bow and aimed it at the Spider.

Shaea just shook her head and spoke, "Not overly, no. Really it is pretty clear of enemies for the most part as we go in. Eventually we will run into the automatons, which are a pain to deal with, and the damn Falmer. I have to feel sorry for them though." The story of how the Falmer came to be was actually kind of a sad thing. Once Snow Elves before they had been more or less trapped underground, turned into the servants to the Dwemer. Blinded, and their personalities had just warped. Yet again she was sure that her personality would shift as well if she got trapped underground, blinded with poisonous fungi, and who knew what else. "Frostbite Spiders hate fire." Shaea spoke in a soft voice.

"The falmer can be dangerous and so can automatons... especially those centurions I have about. Though I have never seen any in person." Magnus replies to Shaea. He then smiled as he aimed his bow at the giant spider hanging from the ceiling "Yes... Yes they do... and so do Vampires.. which is why I have a fire enchantment on my bow, its nothing legendary, done by an average run of mill wizard but vampire sure as hell hate it and I bet that spider will to" With that Magnus shot an arrow at the Spider causing it to drop down and shriek and charged at them on fire.

Shaea just looked towards him for a moment in time before she spoke, "The centurions are huge and rather intimidating. I've run into a few but thankfully they ddin't activate at all. That would have been horrid." With that she was watching the spider fall to the ground after it had been struck with the arrow, and soon enough it was charging towards them. Oh well that was great. This had her speaking her own words and she was throwing a fire ball at the spider. How she detested spiders with a passion.

"Well lets hope you never have to see one activate... let me rephrase that... lets hope we never have to see one activate." Magnus replied to Shaea right before he fired the arrow. Though pretty soon the spider was charging at them. The fireball that Shaea shot at it gave him enough time to draw his sword and shield and charge forward to it as well. Magnus then began to fight with the Spider making sure to keep it away from Shaea.

Shaea just looked at him before she spoke, "I was going to say.... It isn't just me venturing into these ruins." After a moment in time she was taking a step away from the spider when it charged at them again, even after she had shot the fireball at it. Man that seemed to piss it off more than anything, although now it seemed like Magnus was fighting with it using sword and shield. Shaea spoke a few words under her breath, casting a couple of spells that were directed towards Magnus. One that increased his speed somewhat, and another that enhanced the magic on his sword.
