Eternal Bliss [OctopusPrince and gio-vanne]

He took the papers from her and smiled. "I'm quite sure I wouldn't have questions, but I will let you know, love. Thank you for your hard work." He knew it was part of the plan to find a more permanent managing director for Sky Bar but with the way Helios did things for the past weeks, Lucian had a hard time finding the right person. Marius conducted a few interviews at their rented office space across the street but none passed his standards especially after seeing how Sky Bar's figures skyrocketed under Helios' wing. Of course, Lucian knew he had to find one and soon. This cold shoulder was slowly taking its toll on him.

----

That night, Lucian skipped the latter part of Helios set for an important video call with Marius. Despite their busy schedules and getting to live under the same roof, Lucian made it a point to continuously support her performances still, and he'd usually stay until the end and they'd go back down together. This night though, he had to excuse himself before the second set started.

Ceyron became a young multi-millionnaire after succeeding his father's events company that mostly dealt with concerts, musicals, plays, and other big-time performances. His family owned The Dome, one of the most renowned concert halls in the city. He heard aboout "the beautiful cellist at Rosetta" from a few colleagues and though he had been attending for 5 nights now, he can't seem to find the right time to talk to her. She was often preoccupied especially with that man who he can't figure out, if he was her manager or lover. Probably both.

Tonight, he finally got a glimpse of her alone.

Before her second set started and just right after Lucian left, Ceyron, with all confidence, approached Helios.

"Goodness, your music is amazing!" He greeted with utmost joy, though classical music wasn't exactly his type; but he knew as much that she deserved to play for a bigger crowd. Taking out a business card from the breast pocket of his coat and handed it over to her. Ceyron Lucil, it indicated, and he assumed just seeing his name would be enough. He was in TV, social media, and magazines more than a couple of times. "If you have some spare time tonight, would you like to have drinks with me? I'd love to tell you about a great opportunity for your music."

Helios thanked him politely for the compliment and took his card, examining it and recognizing the name immediately. It took most of her effort to keep her composure because this was Ceyron Lucil and she knew exactly what the name implied, what his family name entailed, and that the little girl in her was screaming over the idea of ever playing at the dome. " I would be honored." She said, smiling serenely even though inside she was ecstatic. " I'm Helios, it's a pleasure to meet you. I'm glad you're enjoying your evening at Rosetta." She glanced to the time and her brows furrowed apologetically. " I have to get to my second set, but yes, let's get drinks after this." She assured, before moving to return to the stage.

She had seen Lucian leave, and took no offense to it-- it wasn't at all necessary for him to be there every time she played, but she was flattered nonetheless that he always made time to come see her. She was aware though, especially after working under him, that he was an incredibly busy man, and if he had to leave before her second set, it was probably something to do with work. She played beautifully, as always, relaxed completely on the stage by then, but her mind was wandering off to what the evening held in store after she would be done playing.

Ceyron watched the second set with utmost attention knowing that this time, Helios knew who he was and what he offered. Initially all he thought about was getting her to perform as an opening act for their upcoming event at The Dome featuring world-renowned artists but as he observed the way she immersed herself in her music and the way every part of her body coordinated along with it, he figured there was more to her than just good music. Now that he had observed her even more, he realized she was indeed a beautiful woman.

The second set ended not to soon yet not too late either. Ceyron patiently waited at his table with a glass of champagne set for two and its bottle chilling inside a bucket of ice right beside him. He would have gotten her flowers, had he known he'd have the chance to talk to her tonight, but for now, some light sparkling drinks would do.

He waited with anticipation for Helios to finish his shift.

Helios went to change, and met him at his table, dressed more casually but still in a way that was appropriate for the high end restaurant, a deep red blouse with two buttons left open and a pair of pin striped slacks her choice of attire for the evening. She sat down across from him, smiling. "Thank you again, for coming-- had I known we had such a patron of the arts in our reservation, I would've played a more impressive set list." She said with a touch of bashfulness-- the pieces she had played were by no means easy, but they were simple enough for her, memorized in her fingers to the point that she no longer had a need to read sheet music for them.

" Was there something in particular you wanted to discuss?" It was quite possible that Ceyron simply wanted to discuss music in general, that she might make a new, important friend of this exchange, but she was hoping, despite herself, that he had interest in her talent.

Unlike Lucian, Ceyron didn't stand up to pull up her seat for her but he stood up in respect still, to shake her hand and reintroduce himself. She didn't want to waste any more minute and he liked that. He knew he'd be able to convince her to what he wanted immediately; he was sure though, that there wouldn't be so much effort for convincing.

"Well, I'm impressed you're straight to the point." He took a sip of his champagne with a smile. "Don't get me wrong, though. I like it. You and I will get along really well."

Setting his glass aside, he leaned back on the backrest of his seat and crossed his legs. "I'm not sure if you've heard about The Crossover Music International event happening in 6 months with some of the world's leading orchestras, soloists, and opera singers. Right now I'm scouting for three opening acts for the said event, and I still got one more slot opened." He spoke in a very casual manner as if the whole thing didn't mean much to him. It didn't, really, for his interests didn't lie on such music, but it was part of his job to do well in all events handled at The Dome.

"I think it's quite rude that they're keeping you locked up here," Ceyron followed up with a scoff. "I mean, no offense, but don't ever play of dreaming for something bigger and better than this?"

Helios' eyes were sparkling, even as she determinedly kept her expression professional. This man was offering her her dream on a plate, and it was all she could do not to literally leap out of the seat screaming with joy. " Of course, yes. This however, was the first opportunity I had to have a job where I could play and do what I love most for a living wage. That being said, I would absolutely love to be involved, if you'll allow me to audition for the position." She figured that even though he had come to see her play, she'd have to present something of higher caliber than what she played at the restaurant.

She reached into her own bag and produced a business card to offer him, ones she'd had made a few weeks back with her contact information on it, the text a beautiful, swooping gold ink with a deep maroon back drop on the text. " Here's my business email and phone, if you'll contact me with the details, I'd be happy to speak to my manager and reserve any time we need for audition, rehearsal and performance."
