BUMPING & REQUEST THREAD RULES
If you have questions about something not listed here or in the rules and would like clarification, please feel free to message any member of staff—we’re here to help!
- Members are allowed TWO request threads per request section (i.e., 2 in Males, 2 in Females, and 2 in Non-Binaries). If a user is found to have more than two threads in a given section, the user will be PMed and asked to delete a thread. If no response is received within the given time limit, staff will delete the oldest Request Thread.
- Threads are considered "active" if the last post on the thread is within 30 days of the current date. If a request thread is tagged as 'Closed', it is still considered an active thread if it has been posted in within the last 30 days.
- Bumping is allowed once per twenty-three hours. This means that if you bump at 5:30 PM today, you will have to wait until 4:30 PM tomorrow or later to bump again.
- Bumps are anything that brings the post to the top of the list. Adding new plot ideas is considered bumping. If you have new plot ideas before your twenty-three hours is up, please edit your last post or the original post instead of making another post on the thread.
- You may not circumvent the 23 hour early bump rule by duplicating your first Request Thread as your second Request Thread. Each RT must have its own original content.
- Users who bump before the 23 hours are up will have the bump removed and be sent a warning PM. The first three offenses will be a reminder of the rule. Upon the fourth offense, the user will lose the privilege to post in the Request Thread forums for one week. Further violations will lead to lengthier removal of privilege, and may lead to temporary or permanent site bans for excessive violations.
- Members may only post in their own request threads, no exceptions. Members who post in other user's RTs will have their posts removed and be sent a warning PM. The first three offenses will be a reminder of the rule. Upon the fourth offense, the user will lose the privilege to post in the Request Thread forums for one week. Further violations will lead to lengthier removal of privilege, and may lead to temporary or permanent site bans for excessive violations.
- Please do not make multiple-post Request Threads. All information that you want easily accessible to viewers should be in your first post. Making a multi-post request thread will be considered overbumping unless 24 hours passes in between each post.
- All previous 1x1 Request Threads from before August 5, 2017 have been archived. If you would like your old threads to be un-archived, please PM an Officer or Administrator to do so.
