When the allotted time for kata was over, Shozan called an end to it and had everyone line up for the sparring session. Just like the day before, he focused on the students who would be competing in the upcoming tournament. When class was over, he had everybody line up, and they closed out by bowing to each other. Kate and the other women went in first to get changed, and Brandon stayed away from the door this time, not wanting to accidentally peek again since he doubted he would get away with it a second time. Once all of the women were out, Ken went in with the rest of the guys and got changed. Once he was changed, he went out and spoke with Kate.
"You did good tonight. Keep practicing that kata and you'll have it down in no time."
He headed for the door.
"I'll see you Saturday."
Saying goodbye to everyone, he got into his truck and headed home. Once he got home, he ate dinner and relaxed until it was time for bed.
