Welcome To The Future, Mr. Relic. [IGW x TheUnknown]

Drake did just as she asked and took his time getting ready. Wandering around as she was to get a feel for the newly shaped floor and as he walked he grunted as he was grabbed. Ambush tactics. Something that assassin's specialized in. As he went right for the pillar he braced for the impact by putting his hands out. Catching himself he rolled closer to her and used his shoulder to slam it into her chest.

Getting too close to her would result in the inability to use fists so as he shouldered her out of the way, he turned and brought an elbow down on the grove of her neck where it met her shoulder, then slammed an open palm into her chest to back her up. Just based off of his first attack, he could tell her scales and the armor she used to have on was designed for heavy blows. Bouncing back he perched on a small lift and looked at her. Taking in where her armor had been located on her body he used the zoom features in his eyes for a split second.

Subconsciously, armor was a give away. It was put on soft places to add the protection those places needed. Looking at where her armor used to be he made an assumption that those were potential attack points. However, instead of trying to run off and attack her from the darkness like she'd done for him, Drake just bum rushed her. He jumped down and soon they were both engaged in close quarters. He kept pushing her, directing her into tight spaces to resort to elbows and knees because those blows caused a much more brutal attack then a fist would.

Sure it got him hit quite a few times, but some sacrifices had to be made to get those kill shots and while they weren't fighting to kill, they were testing one another. Drake took a pretty hard shot to the stomach but as he went down, he managed to get a clear shot on her abdomen and rammed an elbow into her stomach. As she went down he came up and locked a stiff hand into her shoulder, digging his thumb into the soft muscle of her arm, separating the muscle and the joint before quickly reaching back and slamming a fist into that specific spot.

For a human, a separation of the muscle and joint would weaken the socket, so the direct blow after would dislocate the socket entirely making that arm completely useless till it was reset.

Her first swing missed when he rolled into her and slammed her in the chest causing her to get slammed against a pillar herself as she tried to grab hold of him. But when she tried to recover his elbow hit her in the neck, making her grunt in pain.

She was getting angry, maybe the lack of a challenge has made her rusty against real opponents. And it bothered her. Life as a 'black demon' was hard enough to prove oneself amongst your peers, if they heard she was defeated by a human it was going to ruin her reputation further.

She tried to push him off of her but he returned the same gesture by pushing her back, creating a distance between them so they can regain their footing. It wasn't long before she managed to throw out some blows of her own; blocking a few of his while he experienced some scaly fists of hers. Not only did it bruise the skin but the scales gave him some scratches on top of it too.

She smirked when he was brought down with a blow to the stomach but she was still impressed. So this is what the strength of 'old' humans were like?

But her victory was short-lived as he returned the same blow causing her to be bend over for a while as her arms clutched her stomach with coughs. She grunted and groaned as she gritted her fangs when he dug his fingers in between the muscles of her joint. She couldn't help but scream however when she felt her arm dislocate after the blow he gave her.

In reflex her shoulders and back muscles flexed as black, leathery wings of a wispy nature sprouted from her back and pushed Drake away from her with a powerful swoop of her wings. They were massive and clearly made to carry her weight with ease. But surprisingly she didn't keep her wings flexed.

When the threat was away from her she got up with her arm dangling limply as her wings vanished again gradually.

She looked down at her arm and with a grunt forced it back into its socket as her body tried to heal itself with a loud pop and crunch. She moved her arm a bit, testing its recovering before glaring at Drake.

She was pissed.

She started to come at him with great speed. Every now and then she would disappear into the maze just to side-blind him again and picking up where they left off with one blow after the other. Xa'ra was pretty sure they were leaving a trail of damaged pillars in their wake.

Sybille and Mary watched it all.

The Android had her eyes flash blue at Drake every now and then in concern for his health, "He was suppose to take it easy..." she muttered to herself.

Meanwhile the old Sorceress smirked when she watched the opponents go all out against each other. Well, one of them was at least. Xa'rinya was a Huntress with honor. If she fought against people who had no magical access than she'd refuse using her own to make the fight fair.

The Anunaqi was a clever girl, one should never rely on magic alone to survive. Something that Sybille learned the hard way.

She took a deep breath and pouted her lips as she glanced at the interface and then the crowd who hadn't moved one inch. If they were that hooked on the show that means the rest of the Station probably was too. The big boss would not be happy to hear that money -wasn't- being earned right now.

The Guild was a way to give bounty hunters some rights to protect not only themselves from governments but also their assets. And while the station provided them with a safe haven filled with commodities to keep them bust, one still had to pay a fee. Which came off any bounty hunter job rewards.

Sybille cleared her throat and then turned the lights back on in a flash, smirking at the disappointed pair in the maze.

Xa'rinya paused with her fist half-way up the air that was about to bring it down hard again when the lights turned on and blinded her again.

With a hiss she closed her eyes at the pain and took a few steps back as she shielded her eyes with heavy panting. If she could find Sybille she would've glared daggers at her, stealing her win!

Sybille approached a microphone, "I apologize but we've run out of time. Mr. Relic, you've had your chance to prove yourself now to any crew that seeks out new members. Or you may go solo if you prefer, or even start a crew of your own. As for the rest of you....get back to work."
