In the Moonwood, chasing unicorns.
Not an uncommon tale, told as oft as not by winsome maids to give their friends--man and maid alike--a silicious thrill.

A virgin girl or three out to see the world with their family's sword, a goddess's blessing, or a little hard won Arate to guard them on their travels. Out on the road after dark on a savage frontier, with wolves and worse howling in the dark, they come to a walled town. Short on coin, and trapped in the dangerous night, the guardsmen at the gate demanded a higher toll than mere silver to let them in in the moonlight...

What should happen next? Our heroine's virtue in certain peril? Do other heroes reach the gate later and--haring the girls cries of impassioned distress from just inside the walls--do they arrive in time to save the maidens' virtue? Does that virtue even become the second come heroes' reward for the girls' salvation?

And yet... This is not exactly that story. These girls are no simple aspirant adventurers. Not a maiden with her father's sword, but a proven paladin perhaps? Not an apprentice mage with a few simple cantrips, but a wizard with several spells of the second circle confidently inscribed in her grimoire.

Can normal country guardsmen enforce their lecherous will upon maids such as these? Or is there something stronger and darker than mere human lust and corruption here? What seeds of evil have taken root in this small village down the Trade Way from Waterdeep? How far have these seeds of evil spread? Through the entire Western Heartlands? Even beyond?

Will the goodly folk of the Realms even discover their existence before it's too late?

A story of high adventure set in the Forgotten Realms, and using the Pathfinder system, for a band of 4-8 characters of 4th level.

Characters are of heroic alingment--or at least scoundrels. Princess Leia and Han--the one who shot first--alike are welcome. Lord Vader is not.

Men and maids alike are welcome. Molestable virgins will make your GM squeel with delight.

No there are not here is a list of all regular familiars.

Yeah, I know. I checked. However, as I'm not familiar with pathfinder, I asked because as far as I know, there may be a homebrew dog Familiar out there somewhere. Or, if Tenshi would let me have a Pug familiar? Small dog that gives her master a +3 to Diplomacy checks?

If you review here at the bottom there are some dog familiars.

But I believe that is from 4 Winds Fantasy Gaming which Tenshi has not ok'd.

Seperately Aleria seems done, will post in the character area - and will see about creating the familiar if everything seems correct.

Hit Point rolls where here.

Dancrilis, I think you need to look over your hit points and hit dice again... not sure how you got 54 hp with that con mod.
EDIT: ah, altered life, never mind.

Yea I initially had a con of 10 and than I realised that con was seemingly only used for fort for the character (which still isn't bad) so decided that I would dump it for a str modifer and a point of int - I kindof like the whole 'looks like she might be a glass cannon and in reality she is more like a brick wall' bit she has going for her.

I love it! Abigail's probably quietly grumpy at the cheaty divine power (that she worked so hard for), but takes solace in her own ability to actually dish out hits and take a few.

*peeks* Altered Life? What's that?

I've used a dog familiar in the past, but I ruled--and have thus far gotten a GM to agree with me--that a combat worthy dog is a L 3 Improved Familiar.

I like the pub familiar proposition though! : )

Ah, I would be going Pug.... which, even by those rules? It's not a combat animal :p It's there to be cute, smug, and adorable... and maybe detect any assassins. It shall also serve as a heat source, when I shove my Pudgy girl under my covers.

It is a feat from Dreamscarred Press (as the race Houri - which is what allows her access to it) Altered Life.

I saw you rule Dreamscarred Press as available so I felt I would go for it - but reading your rules again it is possible that you meant that only Psionics from Dreamscarred Press were available and nothing else, if so I can do some rethinking.

^_^;; Such a pretty concept for a race, even if it's not quite the way I envisoin them. Just a little bit to strong, thugh, I'm afraid. (and I'm suddenly up against the frustating point that I'm not sure how to represent fae blood in core pathfinder. :p )

Ok just to be sure, the feat is to much or the feat and race are too much?

Feat is just easier to drop with a juggle of the abilities where race would likely be a concept review (I might start from ground up with either as I had grown attached to the concept of a frail seeming wall - the next feat would have been Overflowing Life for fast healing 2, which is why I took toughness).

Foiled by my own lack of ability at reading comprehension.

Feat and race are both too much.

Fast healing two from a feat? Ye gods, I thought Dreamsacrred was game ballanced!

If you really like the half nymph, half elf, think we can take the ADvanced Race Guide and rebbuild it as an 11 point is race? and maybe include some feats to make it cooler?

I made out an approximation of using the rules and justified everything in my head but don't think I will go with it:
Abilities: Standard +2 dex, +2cha, -2str (0 RP)
Language Quality: Standard (0 RP)
Base speed: Normal Speed (0 RP)
Medium (0 RP)
Fey (2 RP)
Fey Damage Resistance (3 RP)
Defensive Training, Greater (4 RP)
Spell-Like Ability, Lesser: Charm Person, Mage Armor (2 RP)

Damage reduction from being fey, defensive training to mimic the nymphs dodge bonus (thought about just taking dodge), and a spell to mimic the beauty of a nymph with effort (charm person) and another to mimic the a lesser version of Unearthly Grace (mage armor).

But ultimately this looks powergamey to me +2 Dodge AC, +4 deflection AC for 4 hours (going up as levels do), and 5 Damage Reduction just doesn't sit right with me (even if I could have went worse).

Think I will start from scratch again with a new character - I quite enjoy making characters anyway.

Pods, if I may be forgiven for speaking of things that are sub-optimal:

Your bracers of armor +2 do not stack with your mage armor spell. You could get aring of protection +1 for the same pricne, which would.

At level 4 you bought your dexterity from 14 to 15. At level 1 you had CHarisma 18+2=20. The 15th dot costs 2 point buy, the 18th dot costs four. So if you want to switch those two, youd have two extra character creation dots. :)

The Save DC on a sleep spell from a wand is 11. Magic Missile has no saving thorw. Instead of the two wands you have, you could spend 1,125 on a level 3 magic missile wand with 25 charges. :) You could do that and still have your sleep wand if your sleep wand only had 5 charges, at the same price. :)

I'm not trying to push any of this, just offering friendly advise. If you decide to do something sub-optimon for you concept, I aplaud you.

In case you've missed it, the OOC thread is up here...

I think I'm going to be a bit busy with other things. Could have sworn I already said that x-x Eh, as it is, I think I would not be able to focus on this one, sorry :(
