The princess watched as her guardian appeared to have required time to actually think about dancing with her. That was a first, because most people would agree right away, even if they didnâ??t want to. She was use to dancing with people whenever she felt like it. Spoiled? Perhaps Kiara was, but she tried not to push it. The blonde Elf knew she just usually got her way because of her status. It was the plus of being an heir to the throne, but at the same time, great access to things meant she had to use them wisely. She had never used one of her favors for the wrong reason, but with her guardian, there was no â??wrong reasonâ?? to her. This position was open to any Dragon that would be willing to serve in any way Kiara so desired. If one did not want to live that life, then the Dragon had already been warned before entering the competition and if they were to back out, they should have either lost or never entered.
Her train of thought was cut off when Risen answered her as to why she was thinking. So the Sky Dragon didnâ??t know how to dance? It appeared to have been the honest truth and she found it amusingâ??Risen had been raised rather strangely. Not for the fact that she didnâ??t know how to dance, but the fact that she actually thought it would have offended an Elf to have been honest. Elves highly appreciated honesty among all things, even if it was a brutal truth, because white lies werenâ??t something immortals cared for. Blemishes of life could not be fixed if everyone told each other what they wanted to hear instead of what they needed to hear.
â??Risenâ?¦if you donâ??t know, then this is a perfect opportunity to learn, is it not? Come, I shall teach you.â? she ordered, grasping a scaled and claw-like hand to drag her guardian towards the dance floor. The people around them gave just a bit of room, not that they wouldnâ??t offer more room for their princess, but many already knew that Kiara hadnâ??t minded the crowd. Despite Risen was just a fraction taller than her, mainly because of their raceâ??s average heights and all, Kiara wrapped her guardianâ??s arms around her shoulder, instead of her waist. The princess stepped closer and wrapped her own arms around the Dragonâ??s hips and held them yet again, even closer.
â??Just follow my leadâ?¦close your eyes and take small steps forward and backâ?¦side to sideâ?¦just sway your hipsâ?¦â? Kiara instructed, gently swaying the hips between her arms and moving them so that Risen was forced to take baby steps back and forth, side to side. Though the song was the waltz, she was showing Risen how to slow dance; something that was easy and simple. The steps were also part of the waltz, just smaller in scale and less flashy. The princess just continued to sway with her guardian for a few moments, as she enjoyed the danceâ??it had been awhile since she stepped onto the dance floor, hadnâ??t it?
