Markus watched the way that Ella moved around the bed. Wondering honestly if he had upset her with something he said by the way she was being quiet. Ella had never been this quiet with him not even when he had first brought her here as a kidnap victim. Looking around Markus sighed as he placed his hand on the the wound that had been seared shut on his stomach he knew eventually he'd have to get some alcohol and water to clean it up so where it wouldn't get infected that's the last thing he needed as well as the last thing that Ella needed to see from him. Soon the knock rang out in the room and Markus stood making his way over to the large oak door. Standing at the door he took a deep breath before opening it seeing Tiny standing at the other side of the hallway as if not to be seen by Ella who had only wanted Markus to be around, the only person she had felt safe around after her rape. "Thank you, Tiny" Markus said kneeling down to grab the ornate silver tray with food for both Ella and himself. After grabbing it he stood up walking back into the room kicking the door shut lightly with his foot before making his way back over to the bed where he sat down next to Ella. Handing her, her food he smiled "Eat up Ella you need your strength" he said before gathering up his food to eat.
Quietly Markus sat on the bed eating his food, the silence in the room killing him because the last thing that he wanted was for her to be upset with him after everything they'd been together. An hour passed with this silence slowly driving Markus who was a known talker absolutely mad. Opening his mouth to say something his ears were filled with her words and so he turned his head "After the beating we gave him I've heard nothing more about him. I was told though that your mother was contemplating leaving your father after the pain he caused both you and her throughout the years. It appears Widow has stepped up to the plate on that when the time comes that your mother decides to leave she is going to write Widow and then Widow is going to go to your house with Tiny and help her move out of the home they'll also be there just in case your father decides to do anything stupid they'll be there to knock some sense into him" Markus explained honestly as he looked out the window to the beautiful scenery outside. The trees swaying in the wind, the grass peeking out slightly from the thin layer of snow on the ground. Oh, how he wished he was artistically talented so that he could preserve these images in paint, charcoal or lead, like most works of art were done in that time period.
Pulling himself from his thoughts Markus began gathering up all of the dishes that they had used placing them all carefully on the silver tray before getting up to place it on one of the dressers in the room. This is when he went over to the window and stared outside of it. Taking in the scenery once again outside "I always liked to see the snow covering the ground, the sunlight glistening off the snow. At one time it was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen that was until I met you" he said turning his head to look at Ella with a smile "Even now I realize that you truly are the greatest thing that's ever happened to me. With us being together officially I can't help but daydream of the life we're going to have together Ella" he said making his way back over to the bed once more only this time he laid next to her pulling her small frame to his larger one, his arm going around her waist as he leaned in and kissed her cheek gently.
