Deciding that there was no point hiding his identity from Veata, Seth decided to actually say whom he was since after all. He might have kidnapped her after battling against her, but he still had some decency at least when it came to giving somewhat respect. "Seth... and as for your rapier,.. It seems to be finely crafted.. so I think you have nothing to worry about when it comes to possible damage.." It would not take to long a walk since camp had been setup close enough for the surprise war that was going to be started shortly which because he now had a captive, probably meant he would not get to take part but Seth did not really mind.. now anyhow. "You fought well for someone whom I thought was a simple villager.."

"I used to travel around with a group of friends from my childhood. A while back there was a problem with creatures creeping in from other dimensions, including some very strange dragons. We had our work cut out for us," she said simply. "I kind of miss them, I haven't seen any of them in a few months. That rapier was a gift from one of them, a close friend who helped raise me after my parents were killed."

Seth looked at Veata for a moment before continuing to walk " You seem to have quite a story,.. I might want to hear more of this later when we are away from here.. if that is alright with you" Part of him was interested even though they would be raiding the town soon enough. Conflict seemed to be getting more and more common these days yet it had been a while since he heard something about someone instead of just interacting only with the sound of clashing metal, yells and words that would lead to learning nothing until one was shown to be victor. The elves seemed to be going backwards that was for certain.

"We'll see. It all depends. I know things are different where you're from, but here, there is a mix of races. Dragonborns, Dwarfs, Elves, Humans, Gnomes, Halflings, even a couple of Dark Elves," she said in a conversational tone. "It's a gathering place for all races...certainly one wouldn't be surprised to see a mixing of them? " She said as she looked at him out of the corner of her eye.

He looked at her before deciding to make a comment a little " I guess, although from where I am used to.. your either a purebred of a race or looked down upon,.. still Veata you fought well, and seem to have at least an interesting story to tell.. although what would you be mixed with?" Seth wondered seeing as although it was obviously she was only a half elf, what ever had been mixed worked in her favor. At least from his opinion the others seemed only happy because they had loot as such which would get them money, where as Seth.. well he had a prisoner and that was all he needed having plenty of money from being so high ranked.

"Human," she stated simply. "My father was a powerful sorcerer, but he taught me how to use a rapier. He gave up his name when he married my mother. She was a powerful cleric and she had found him nearly dead just outside the city. My father was the elf, the human, my mother," she said as she kept walking along. "My brothers are very skilled as well, though when it comes to magic, my niece and nephew are a pair that you shouldn't laugh at. I've seen them make a tiny hole into another plane and cause an explosion from it," she said with a shudder.

He was unsure but that would have been his first guess of which she had definitely inherited the best genes from both races of which if he had to admit for a halfbreed she was somewhat more attractive then the purebred elves of which he was used to associating himself with. Something about how she was different just made this the case, the fact that the fight had been clean and she also stuck to her word had made things easier as well. Now they simply were walking away to report. After hearing what she said he smiled a little before speaking " Must be tough having relatives like that.. although I to can do similar things If i have to.."

She looked at him. "I...I sort of can," she said seeming to be thinking. "Though the power it uses is a bit different. My father taught me it before he and my mother were killed in battle. I was young then though and wasn't able to do it very well. My Uncle Mar trained me after that. He's not really my uncle though...but everyone called him that. Hard to argue with a dwarf with a huge riffle." She stopped walking for a moment and turned around. "Forgot to put my bag on," she grumbled under her breath before making a high pitched whistle. The next second there was a small bag, more the size of a purse in her hand.

It was quite unfortunate that war took so many casualties but at least she did end up having someone whom by the sounds of it would have been quite protective and slightly intimidating since the dwarfs for their size were strong and well a gun aimed upon you could change anyone's mind. Seth looked at Veata oddly hearing what she next said before seeing what she had done. "we are almost there, after that i will announce to my commander you are under my supervision so that no one gets any ideas, a female like you would probably be forced to do things you might not want. . And i seem to have enough respect to prevent things before they become a possibility" lightly he smiled looking back at the small group of people he trusted. "i am sure you guys are happy with what you got yes?"

She pulled out a full woolen cloak out of the tiny bag and put it over her shoulders as he spoke. The cloak had to be three times the size of the bag if it was all rolled up. She looked to the others in the group. "I sure hope so, I went through a lot to retrieve those things, they're worth a small fortune put together," she said looking away from them.

Hearing Veata mention what they had taken he simply shrugged it off since after all technically he had not taken anything except a person whom seemed to have at least a few stories to tell. Seth's blue eyes caught site of the small temporary camp they had setup that would soon be gone as if it had never even existed, that was a stealth mission for you.. in and out after making maximum impact although part of the noble of the fighters was glad that he would have his attention distracted by someone instead of him having to attack innocents sometimes just because they did not want to give up the only things they had. "The rest of you may go.. I just have to show the commander Veata.. and then that was our part of the mission complete.."

Veata looked from the group and then back to Seth. "I'm not going to be searched or tortured or anything like that am I," she asked, looking up at him slightly. She kept her hood down and had one of her hands on her side, where his blade had cut through her leather armor, grazing her skin. Her other hand held her small strange bag of belongings.

Seth only briefly thought about what had been asked before managing an answer. "i cant guarantee you will not be searched. . But i personally can stop the other by taking you under my control since you are technically my prisoner" on the fighters face a soft smile showed as they entered the camp heading straight for the leaders main area. His blue eyes glanced around before locating him. Seth then walked up bringing Veata. He told him of the details of where they could sneak in first before talking about the female he had with him "i also want full control of looking after this prisoner of which although i have disarmed her if needed i will search her for you.." the leader looked at him for a moment before speaking "Seth i entrust this half elf to you then, but that means you cant fight in this attack" "understood" the leader then dismissed them of which slowly he began to walk leading Veata to his own setup tent. "well you happy how that turned out?"
