The world has changed. The year is 2030. The last ten years have been difficult for the normal person. As automation and technology has continued to evolve, many have found themselves out of work. Agriculture, manufacturing, transportation, and energy sectors have become extremely automated; allowing business owners in those fields to concentrate their wealth. This shift has raised unemployment significantly, and many cities across the United States are struggling.
Portland, Oregon has been one of the few cities in the country who have shown success in the last decade. Portland is a city whose unique location is a strategic boon for many industries, bringing a wide variety of resources through the Portland harbor. Portland’s citizens have been largely unimpaired by the shift towards automation as well. As a city of techies and artists, Portland has kept itself weird and insulated from much of the strife seen outside of it. There is an ever-present need for more technology to fuel the industry of today, and more art to soothe the minds of the troubled masses.
Portland has become a unique haven for the Kindred. The city’s populace has always been tolerant of strangeness among others. While most cities of today have become extremely dangerous for vampires, with almost weekly raids causing innumerable falling to the government funded Second Inquisition; Portland has seen little SI activity. Kindred must still be careful and covert, but many notable Portlanders are vampires.
In general, what am I looking for in this story?
I am looking for a complex, long-length, thoughtful story. Idealistically, this story would be between 20% smut:80% narrative and 60% smut:40% narrative. I want a story that I’m going to absolutely crave the next bite of.
I am quite flexible on length of responses. I understand that setup passages are typically longer than more conversational replies. I feel most comfortable writing a few sentences to a few paragraphs. Shorter than a few sentences have a severe impact to the details of a story. It’s hard for me to get emotionally attached to the characters if I’m just getting a line with an action. Longer than a few paragraphs though can make a story very unwieldy. It can make it hard to do reactive storytelling if we can’t respond to what one-another does frequently.
In general, what am I looking for in a partner?
I am looking for dominant partners. While many of my characters are not pushovers, I have little interest in dominating your characters. Despite being strong, they are strong to make your victory of forcing them to their knees that much sweeter.
A potential partner for writing in this setting should not shy away from violence. Vampires are violent creatures innately, and consequences of that violence are not so drastic on Kindred. For example, a broken bone or serious wound can be recovered from in hours or days, instead of months or years.
A potential partner should be kinky. Bondage, humiliation, torture, non-consensual themes, blackmail, fetishwear, slavery and biting are just a few of the immensely long list of kinks I enjoy. You don’t have to like everything I like, but the more we have in common – the better.
In general, what do I look for in my partner’s character(s)?
Believability above all else. It is absolutely crucial that you know your character, how they think, and how they react. They need to be a breathing, living person – with their own aspirations and…..well, maybe not breathing and living. You know what I mean.
I find myself attracted more to mental and emotional strength than physical strength, though physical strength is fun too. I am attracted to dominant, forward characters. Dark, cruel, evil, or manipulative characters are oddly exciting too.
I find women and feminine-presenting people most sexy, but I am Bi. I am very open to well written masculine characters as well.
A Few Plot Ideas and Characters
Lauren, 22 – Software Designer
Lauren is in her final year of studies at the Portland branch of the University of Oregon. As a young, smart and talented techie; she has huge potential in the years to come. Your character has need for someone who is good with technology, and to help further their interests. After visiting a drunken party on campus, she would find herself waking up undead.
This would be a story of exploitation, technological adventure, and learning. This story is perfect for those with an active imagination, who are excited about the idea of creating a thriving Kindred culture for Lauren to explore.

Morrigan, 25 – Daughter of a Ghoul, Porn Actress
Morrigan has been exposed to the plight of the Kindred for much of her life. Her father is a Ghoul, a minion who feeds on the vitae of a vampire. Morrigan is mortal but has discovered the world hidden behind the curtain due to her proximity to her father. The relatively lax Kindred elites in Portland are watching her as a test. She’s known about the Kindred long enough to be trusted not to do anything rash, and she doesn’t seem to be a threat.
Morrigan is a porn actress, making money from performing online for those across the country. While she has many public videos, she’s made a lot of money for private shows with elite clients who spend significant amounts of money on her. Morrigan is a human who allows many vampires to feed from her, hanging out often at clubs frequented by the Kindred.
She aims to become a Vampire soon. She’s patiently waited for the right vampire to come along, one that she can accept the gift from – and then quickly climb the ranks of Vampiric power structures. You…are not this vampire. Perhaps you’re offended by the thought of a mortal strategically trying to infiltrate the kindred. Perhaps you’re annoyed that the daughter of a ghoul thinks she’s worthy of being sired at all.
This is a story of brutality, overt sexuality, and conflict. Morrigan is not a character who will bend to your whims, and will require a strong hand to force into submission. Perhaps life among the undead isn’t quite what Morrigan thought it was afterall.

Victoria, 231 - Former Women's Suffrage Leader
A stake through the heart doesn’t kill a vampire. It freezes them in place, making them completely vulnerable…though aware of their surroundings. In the early 1900s, Victoria was a leader within the Women’s Suffrage movement. A member of clan Ventrue, one could imagine she felt out of place around the anarchist Brujah clan. The reality couldn’t be further from the truth. Victoria was the pinnacle of class, demanding attention from any room she was in. She gave the Brujah a sense of cohesiveness and legitimacy among the other kindred. She was the perfect leader…the kind of leader who was too influential to be left standing.
A stake through the heart, a coffin, and then cement. It was a fate worse than death. For over a hundred years, Victoria was confined alive within a tomb of concrete. Victoria’s prison has been discovered, and it’s being delivered to Portland. Why is she being brought there? What plans lay in store for her?
This is a story of politics, strategy, and power. Victoria is a powerful vampire who is intensely familiar with how to manipulate those around her. This would be a fantastic story for someone who wants to play as a character who’s making a power play to take control of the Kindred in Portland; or by someone who wants to take more of a storyteller role – and control all those Victoria comes in contact with.
