David listened to Germaine talk of her home town of Ethera. The city had been one of the starting points of the rebellion, and few were surprised by it. Being the food supply for much of the kingdom it was exceedingly important. Then mix that with the unfavorable living conditions made the people hungry for war, despite not being the strongest of warriors. But they deserved credit. Many of them had taken part in the war and it seemed all who were still able fought for Calais. The rebellion was all the better with Ethera.
He smiled hearing about pumpkin soup from Viera. David had never had any before, so he looked forward to trying it.
Then Circe said the horses name. David had forgotten it's name, usually calling something along the lines of "damn horse." He was surprised she remembered, but then found it very funny that Reginan thought it was black. "Did another horse escape into the fields after I left?" He teased. David then nodded at Circe's comment on the horse. It was not fit for the harem stables.
Feeling the warmth of the alcohol in him, David asked Reginan "What city do you come from?" He found the question was a simple one, but each woman had a little bit of a story to tell and it kept the conversations moving.
