[DnD 5e] Homebrew high fantasy fun in Etindra!

AH! I think it depends partly on your race and partly on what kinds of experiences the nobles have been through. It is not a sin and not officially punishable under any human government law, but there are some races (and likely deities) who do not encourage it. Many will take it on a case by case basis. But in the case of nobles, they arrange marriages for power, favor and prestige so it may pose an issue there. Also, there have not been any homosexual human Kings or Queens. Even if they had those tendencies, they always gave the public appearance of a heterosexual couple. Some going so far as to hire a breeding partner for their spouse so that a child could be sired. Of course, the Palace has a number of such partners to choose from that they keep on retainer.

Hello All heres my Entry for the group.

Xelia

Xelia was always a troublemaker in her youth, her hyperactivity causing her to bore easily with life's trappings and seek excitement wherever she could find it. This lead to some rather unsafe activities becoming the norm of her daily life much to her parents worry. When she was nearing her 14th birthday a traveling circus came through her town and she immediately enchanted by the various sounds and sights of the midway. She made her mind up then to run away with the travelling troupe in search of more exciting ventures.

The next 3~4 years of her life were spent learning the art of knife throwing, becoming a integral part of the big top for her exotic looks and skill with the small blades. Her act was always one of daring and risk as she would pick her volunteers from the crowded tent without any prior warning or preparation to get the most genuine reaction of them. This was not always appreciated however, an example being when she had once placed a blade squarely boxing in the fat head of a nobleman and causing a deluge within his trousers on stage. It would not be until the stop at the Emerald City that her journey would end however.

This time having picked a rather gruff and pompous looking militia man, Xelia went further then advisable. A few close shaving throws later and the red faced soldier had Xelia arrested for assaulting (or rather disrobing) an officer of the city guard. She went along with the accusation as she saw nothing to come out of fighting it, nor that it would be as big a deal as it was being made. The charges stuck although not without caveat, seeing her skill with the blade she was given a test of single combat against the man she had humiliated. The newest in a long line of interests was now introduced to her called fencing. She took to it immediately using her lithe form to weave in and out of the opponents attacks while she watched the frustration grow.

Eventually she ended the match and was let go, but she didn't leave. Instead she joined the militia wanting to experience more of what the commanders had to teach. Thus she has stayed on as a fair weather member of the city's militia as it was soon discovered that keeping the silver sword slinger withing one dedicated unit was only trouble for all involved.
