Assigning sorting rules to pms

I was thinking, would it be possible to enact some kind of pm rules setting option that could send pms to different folders besides the inbox?

For example, If I got a pm from a user, the pm would go directly into a pre-set folder dedicated to pms from that user that to a rule that says something along the lines of, "If message is from [insert user name], put into [Insert Folder name]."

It was in the settings set up on a site I was on. It was very helpful and I'm wondering if it would be useful here on blue moon.

I don't know if that's something that can be added - the admins will have to address that, but I just wanted to say that you can currently create PM folders aside from the inbox but you'll have to manually move your messages there. Not sure if that's helpful or if you already knew lol

The issue with creating "filters" is that sometimes things will get moved because they hit a filter that doesn't apply. It's constantly happening to me with my personal email to the point I stopped using them.

Already knew that and have done it, Fruit. I was just thinking that having something like that might streamline keeping pms together and finding them for people.
