What Do You Fear? [randomname98766789 and Amaranthine]

"I'm pretty sure you did, Bryce," Alicia said with a laugh as he talked about asking her to marry him in elementary school. She had quite a good memory and she recalled being six years old and getting "married" on the playground at recess, though maybe he couldn't. Was there any chance that had been another boy? Alicia highly doubted it, but given her age at the time she couldn't expect her memory to be one hundred percent - or his. That was one of her earliest memories and she wouldn't be hurt if he couldn't recall it. Six year olds shouldn't be taken seriously, especially when they marry each other under the monkey bars. Kids did things that adults looked back on either with fondness or a cringe factor; this was one of the fonder moments, though.

As much as Alicia had enjoyed every moment of her massage, she was glad to be able to pull him close again. To kiss him was to find herself in a moment where nothing existed but the pair of them. Like him she knew that sleep would have to come, but she didn't want to have to give in just yet. Tiredness made her silly, though: made her giggly, cuddly and a little bit rambly too. Bryce had seen all of that in her already; this wasn't the first night since they had got together that they had stayed up in to the late hours of the night. As far as she was aware he liked seeing her all smiley and cuddled up to him, talking about whatever happened to be on her mind or whatever he brought up. Now was no time for words, though; Alicia was eager to pull him in to her as they kissed, tongues gliding against each other as their lips smacked together. Each touch of hers was gentle, fingertips against skin.

Anna knew how this game was played and as much as she loved it, she also hated it with a passion. She growled as he denied her of what was coming, a common move between them that left her begging for more. The teasing though? The way her body ached for more as he rubbed the head of his cock against slick flesh was undeniable. She could never quite explain why but having her pussy rubbed against like that was probably one of her biggest turn ons and she probably (definitely) could orgasm just from that if her partner was patient. It was on a whole other level from fingers and even oral. While Nick was not rushing, there was also little hesitation in guiding himself in to her. That first thrust was agonizingly slow and aided by her hips rolling in to him as she let herself stretch to accommodate him. She would have enjoyed more of that, but she would enjoy this too, as much if not more; she would have also enjoyed being allowed to get off as she got close, but they both knew that hitting the edge before they really started just made the sex feel even more pleasurable. She wasn't a one-orgasm kind of person, anyways - sure, she could be, but the more the better in Anna's opinion.

She was grateful that he'd listened, started slow, because as great as being so full felt she knew she had to get a little bit more acclimated before she was anything rough. Plain old missionary was fun at times, and in that moment it suited the desperation of years apart, but she'd missed the raw passion that came with the roughness. She hadn't kept up the kind of sex they had, though. Regardless, this was enough - it was more than enough. This was hands tangled in hair, fingernails against flesh and her hips rocking just right to work herself against him as best as she could. Sighs came out as soft moans as she held tight to his shoulder and peppered kisses and sucked lightly low on his neck - thinking about the fact that they'd have to cover those marks up after was the last thing on her mind at that moment. "No, you're boring me," came her reply in that snarky but joking tone of hers as she pulled away, tongue between her teeth, just enough to look him in the eyes. That signature smirk of hers, a half cocked grin paired with a 'fuck me harder' gaze, rode on her face and with each thrust in to her her eyes fluttered closed just a moment and she was left with growing moans. "I thought I'd have forgotten how great this feels but fuck, that's not the case at all. I was spot on."

“I could never forget. The biggest mistake of my life was not holding my word in that marriage.” Of course, they were young children. Neither of them could have known about true love back then. Yet, here they were many years later. Perhaps they did know back then and neither could have understood it until now. Either way, Bryce was happy Alicia found a home in his arms. “You’re so adorable when you laugh, you know? I love when you get all giddy and cuddly with me. I mean, I love spending time with you no matter the mood but you’re driving me wild right now – in a good way.” So, to facilitate that laughter and smiling, Bryce dipped his head down to start assaulting her neck again with his lips. Then, he moved his lips across her face: forehead, cheek, jaw, ear, chin, lips, forehead again. He continued pressing quick, soft kisses, hoping the touch was feather light and ticklish for the girl. Just doing this even brought a smile to his own face as well. This girl meant the world to him and knowing that he was the causation for such smiles and laughter warmed his heart immensely.

After the kissing attack ceased, he pulled back to gaze into her eyes again. “I want to take you on a date.” Bryce mused. “I know a date won’t be like anything it was in the past world, but I’d love to have a date with you – to wine and dine you. I’m going to make it happen when we get to Mexico, mark my words. I’m sure there will be some level of improvisation we can manage” Pausing, he stole another kiss from those full, supple lips and started threading his fingers through her hair again.

--------------------

Conceptually, it sounded strange when Nick thought about his enjoyment to hear Anna growling. It was tough to explain, but everyone had something sexual that aroused them that might not appeal to many others or even make sense. When Anna emitted those noises, it told him she was hungry for more. Plus, it was the perfect mixture of being cute and being sexy. It made him want to ravish her body immediately. If Anna recalled, she might have realized how weak it made him when she did that. It sent chills down his spine and this event was not much different. Yet, Nick somehow managed to hold back. It was likely because he knew that once this night was over, they were over again. So, conserving time and spending every possible second together was all he wanted. Hell, he half-hoped the sun never rose so they could stay in this night forever. That might have been drastic but an emotional wall hit him like a train. This was the place he felt most alive. This was his Anna. This was their life before the apocalypse started and before she cheated on him. Where had it gone? Why could they not have it back?

It was a game for Nick sometimes. How many times could he cause Anna to orgasm? If he were being honest, he forgot the record but he new the number was higher than the average woman. Either Anna was easy to orgasm or Nick was good: but she had once told him that she never came like that before for anyone. While Nick did not like the talk of her experiences with other men because it meant he had to imagine Anna with someone else (how ironic, right?), it gave him a great sense of pride. Whether she said that to boost his confidence or if she was being honest, Nick would never known. As he got into the thrusting, everything flowed back to his muscle memory. The senses of her gripping at his shoulders, kissing his neck, and leaving marks felt so fucking familiar. Almost naturally, the pace at which he thrust increased because he knew how rough they usually liked it. Again, he understood the need to still take it slower so he kept himself controlled. At the snarky comment and lustful look on the girl’s face, well, Nick would have been remiss if he did not resist the temptation any longer. With that, both hands rather firmly gripped at her breasts and squeezed the flesh. His hips raised up high and suddenly slammed down, jamming his thick cock deeper inside of her as his balls slapped against the bottom of her ass. This increase made him moan as well but it was captured by her mouth as Nick suddenly devoured her lips again, engaging in the most passionate kiss possible.

"Oh yeah?" Alicia raised an eyebrow and her back arched as Bryce found the sweet spot on her neck, eliciting something between a giggle and a gasp from the girl as he continued to press soft kisses all over her. She was weak under his touch in all the right ways and nothing in the world made her happier than being with him. As the kisses ceased she rolled on top of them so that she sat carefully on his belly, and as he spoke about taking her on a date it was her turn to pepper him in kisses. She started with his chest, up his neck, on both of his cheeks and then against his forehead, between his eyebrows and then finally his lips once more. Despite how distracted (or focused, more like it) she may have seemed she heard every word he had said.

As she sat back up, the same giddy smile on her face, she rested her hands on Bryce's abdomen, palms flat just below his rib cage. A date, huh? Once upon a time she would have loved the idea, but in this world she hadn't really thought about it. She knew she would love to be able to date him, act like actual teenagers who went out and did stuff besides trying to survive. It hadn't been that long since she had said that they could still have their perfection despite everything around them, and Bryce was right: maybe they wouldn't be going to the movies or getting a fancy dinner, but that didn't have to stop them. Besides, Alicia would be happy to do just about anything with him. She simply smiled as she retreated back to being tucked against his body, and as his hands ran through her hair she let out a soft sigh. "You know, you never stop being great, and I really love that you care about the romance even with everything that's going on. I would love that, Bryce - I'm sure we would be able to work something out."

----

Anna also rarely talked about past experiences with him: the way she saw it, none of it really mattered. He'd been told she lost her virginity at sixteen because that was when she started choosing to have sex, and he knew that in the year leading up to their meeting she had been a bit of a slut. If he ever asked for details he got them, but there had been an unspoken agreement between them back then that the past was in the past when it came to other people. She looked after herself and while there were some instances she regretted (read: not stopping Ronnie, extenuating circumstances be damned) overall she wasn't ashamed of her comfort in her sexuality. Anna was serious when she had told him he was the best she ever had though, and that hadn't changed since their last time. Whether that was by pure talent or the fact that emotions fueled the way they touched each other she didn't know, but she also didn't think too hard about that.

They knew the way each other worked; he knew how to touch her to drive her crazy and he knew her body enough to know when to pick up the pace, give her more of what she begged for. By the time Nick changed things up, Anna was more than adjusted, slick and eager, and she was already back on the verge as he pulled back, pushed rough in to her so hard she couldn't help moan loud. One hand met his hair, grasping tight, as the other dragged claws against his back and damn it, she was already falling weak to him. One of her legs pulled him close as he worked on her and each kiss was deeper than the last between breathless gasps and moans. She was wrapped in him, surrounded by him, as minutes after the change in pace she succumbed to her body. Her orgasm came as moans against his lips, a tight grasp pulling his chest flush to hers and her legs quivering as they tightened around his hips. "Fuck, Nick," she gasped as she buried her forehead against his shoulder, panting to breathe as her hold on started to let up. How was she supposed to walk away after this? She had never felt as good as she did when she was with him, both when he was inside her and not. As much as it was the right thing to do, Anna never wanted to let go of him now that she had him again and that wasn't just the sex talking.

Sighing quietly, a smile continued tugging at his lips. It has seemed like ever since their relationship started, a smile had never left. Likely, it would never leave even with all that was happening in their world. “What can I say? I’m just a hopeless romantic.” Chuckling, Bryce stole another kiss from her lips. “Honestly, I would have loved to see you get all dressed up for a dinner date with me. I doubt us getting a chance to do that now, but the few times I’ve ever seen you in a dress… damn, that’s all I can say. It does something to me.” His sweet Alicia was never the kind to dress up often: she typically wore t-shirts, jeans, and converse or some combination of something similar. During formal events, though, when she wore a dress, he could not stop looking at her (To be fair, he could never stop looking at her, period – it was heightened when she dressed up). Again, he had no clue why that he enjoyed it so much other than just knowing that he did. However, Bryce doubted when they left her house, she thought about taking a dress with her. Perhaps they would have a chance to find a dress another time for her if she would want to wear something like that for him.

“Though you look good in anything. Still, I think I prefer you just like this – wearing nothing at all. This makes for the best cuddling and kissing, too.” Bryce whispered, keeping their eyes locked together. His fingers continued drumming through her long hair and his other hand continued massaging her back. Every inch of their bodies was pressed tightly together. It was a feeling he never wanted to lose. Bryce could not imagine himself being anywhere else in that moment, nor would he want to be anywhere else in that moment. “You’re my entire world, Alicia. I love you so much.”

--------------------

When they first started dating, Nick understood Anna had a reputation. It had always worried Nick from the beginning, but she was always loyal to him minus the Ronnie incident. At first, Nick had been wary but he found out that Anna was nothing like what other people said. Yes, she loved sex and she was a nympho but she managed to stay committed with him for the most part. If only Nick had paid attention to his phone while walking from his house to meet Anna that day, this might not have happened. Accidentally leaving his phone on silent and sliding it into his front jeans pocket, Nick did not see the text messages she left him or hear the phone calls. It was an erroneous mistake that cost him their relationship. And although their entire relationship was not based on purely sex after they first started developing feelings for each other, one of Nick’s favorite qualities about the woman was her sex drive. He had literally never been in a relationship with a girl that had a drive quite like hers. It was insatiable, much like it was right now during that moment and Nick adored it.

As the woman’s nails raked down Nick’s back, it shot a sense of familiarity through his veins. This was not something he wished to stop. This was everything he hoped for. The way her legs squeezed his hips, the way her nails scratched his back, and the way Anna moaned had not changed. It was just like old times. Within seconds, he felt the woman’s pussy release around his cock. His entire girth was soaked with her wetness, gushing around his manhood just like it always did. Something else he enjoyed about sex with Anna was this: multiple orgasms and the way she practically squirted when she came. It was such a turn-on for him, feeling this. Plus, those moans she offered helped quite a bit as well. After she finished that orgasm and buried her head down against his neck, his lips even chased her neck, kissing that sensitive flesh again. She might have just had an orgasm but he was not slowing down his assault – not by a longshot. A hand slipped in between the woman’s legs, pressing two fingers on the pink nub that was her clitoris. He rubbed circles in a clockwise motion, intending on bringing her intense pleasure. The pace and power of his thrusting had not slowed down, sending his thick girth into her over and over again, plunging as deep as he could. “I’ve fucking missed this.” Nick growled, the drugs now completely taken over as he was not thinking about any consequences, especially when all inhibitions were lost and he tackled her lips for a passionate kiss – one of the most passionate they have ever shared together.

Alicia was smiley and happy and every smile of his, every word of his, only made her feel more and more alive. As Bryce suspected, packing a dress had been the last thing on her mind before they left. As a general rule she was practical but classy, always managing to look cute while still prioritizing comfort. However, if he wanted to see her in a dress she would keep her eye out for something cute. Though she didn't do it often, she enjoyed dressing up once in a while and she had always wondered what he thought about her all dolled up. Now that she knew, that was another thing she was going to make a point to give him at some point. Hey - a girl liked being cute, especially for her boyfriend.

"I will do my best to find something date-worthy," she said - no promises could be made, but she genuinely would keep her eyes out for anything. She cuddled closer, kissed his cheek. Just like him, she thought she loved his best. While the sex was great, there was an intimacy in simply being able to be naked together. She never felt closer to Bryce than in moments like this, where they were cuddled up flesh against flesh with nothing hindering every inch of them from touching. This was comfortable and relaxing and as he stroked her hair she let out a soft sigh. Her fingers traced pattern-less paths along his abdomen. "Let's just never leave this bed never again, though. I'd like that. Just you and me, here forever... It's like nothing else in the world matters when you're here, Bryce." She cuddled up closer, keeping her cheek against his chest, and a small yawn escaped her lips.

----

As reluctant as Anna had been to get in a relationship (it had been one of Molly's talks that even got her to agree to that first date, the fact that she wanted said date be damned), Anna genuinely had taken her time with Nick seriously. Sure, it had made her a little crazy because Nick had been a calm among the chaos she was used to and frankly it was kind of terrifying constantly wondering when things were going to break. She couldn't help that wondering which fuck up would be the last had just made her fuck up more but it was a rough cycle - she had to give Molly some recognition though. She'd tried to slap some sense in to Anna more than once - hell, that was how she had ended up down at that coffee shop on one of the worst days of her life. She had been trying to keep herself calm and not do anything reckless before Nick got back because Molly had a point; she could be overwhelming at times, and Nick was allowed to have a breather from her once in a while. In the scheme of things, him spending a day or two at his mom's or wherever he had gone meant very little if it was what kept them going. Strange to think that she had tried to do something good for her relationship and just ended up ruining it in the process. Hindsight was 20/20.

Of course, that hindsight was also what told Anna that she was in for it now. Left sensitive after she came around him she was weak to his touch and her body jolted as his finger found her clit. Nick knew that the added sensitivity of her post-orgasmic haze left her open to amazing things and Anna couldn't pull away from him. I've fucking missed you - the words were so close to leaving her lips but she somehow held them back; saying such a thing was bound to remind them of the reality of what they were doing. Her legs were left shaking so much they were nearly vibrating; each thrust in to her, each circle on her clit only brought her closer to where she had just been and she was lips and tongue and teeth against lips ass he kissed him. "Fuck, me too," she breathed as her hand left his hair and found his cheek, holding him uncharacteristically gently for what they were doing. "Don't stop, please just never stop." The passion was there in her words, the desperation for more of him, but a hint of reality came out in her plea as well.

“Trust me, if I could assure that we’d never leave this bed again… I would do it in a heartbeat.” After making this assurance, Bryce smiled widely at Alicia. Some people might have felt revolted with the level of cheesiness and romance occurring between the two right now: not Bryce. In fact, his ideal relationship revolved around this. The last thing he wanted was a relationship without an overload of physical contact. All the experts that said that giving some room in a relationship or giving space was required: Bryce didn’t believe that. He could never see a time where he would want space from Alicia. Given, this was technically still the “honeymoon” stage of their relationship since it was fresh, but something told the young man that their entire relationship would likely be in that stage because he could not foresee anything shifting. This was ideal for Bryce and since Alicia was clearly enjoying it as well, what was there to worry about? Who cared what most people thought relationships should be like? It was nobody’s business except their own. As long as Alicia would want to touch him and kiss him every second of the day, hell, Bryce would do the same thing. Hopefully she would not rely on information about what most people consider acceptable or unacceptable regarding that matter.

“You know, you better be careful telling me something like that. I might just do it.” Chuckling softly, he pressed another kiss onto her lips and moved his hands down her back again. Thinking about his suggestion for wearing dresses for him, it made him think about what she might want to see. “How about you, Princess? Is there anything in particular you’d like to see me wearing? Maybe I already have something but if I don’t, I can look.” In Bryce’s opinion, the male apparel line was not often scrutinized like the female apparel line. Bryce could think of so many things he’d like to see Alicia wearing from dresses to leggings to shorts and so forth. It might just be because he’s never been interested in males, but he wondered if there was anything in particular Alicia would like to see on him, so he saw no harm in asking.

-------------------

“I won’t stop. I will never stop.” Nick breathed out though the words probably sounded slurred. The passionate kiss, the drugs, and the haze from approaching an orgasm had the tendency to slur one’s words when combined. Although he told Anna that he would never stop, Nick did not think about the implications for the future when saying that. It was just a heat of the moment thing. As far as he was concerned, when he was sober at least, Nick would realize that this was just about sex. At least, he would tell himself that. There were no emotions tonight except lust. Yep, no matter what Nick’s heart told him, he would ignore it. Though, as it had already been proven, he was not the best at ignoring feelings. Sometimes he did well, but when it involved Anna, he was shit at trying to act like she did not matter to him. Nor did he ever think that it was obvious. When Madison kept bugging him about not being over Anna, Nick chalked it up to his mom doing annoying mom things. He kept telling her that he was okay when he really was not. But Nick had told himself these lies for such a long time, he believed them now.

Knowing that she was super sensitive after the orgasms, he continued to pound away at her tight pussy. The smile grew on his face as they kissed. This was not any fucking or kissing that one would do if not emotionally invested in the other person. Though Nick was thrusting as rough as he could manage, he kept the pace slower like they were making love. The kiss remained passionate as instead of just going wild with open-mouthed kisses, he calmed himself down and slowed the kiss as well. Since one hand was busy assaulting her clitoris, the male wrapped one hand around her left wrist and pinned it down onto the mattress. He kept her arm pinned down with his forearm and turned his hand over to grab her right wrist as well. Soon enough, he could have both of her hands pinned down onto the bed, above her head, restrained by his hold just like old times. The kiss remained passionate, his tongue wrestling with hers. “I know you want to cum again, baby. Don’t hold back. Scream as loud as you want. It’s just you and me.” He whispered, the nickname to her just flowing naturally even if he knew that she was not fond of people calling her things like that at times. It seemed she could always tolerate it with Nick, though.

"Oh?" Alicia remarked as Bryce said he might take her seriously when she talked about never leaving the bed. "Is that supposed to stop me? I would love it if you just kept me here, makes me wish the world was still normal and we would be worrying about getting caught by our parents instead of this." This implied everything; the world had been over for what - two weeks now? They had been on the water for at least a week now. In that time they had all almost died, Chris had lost his mother, they'd been hijacked. If Alicia had thought college applications were overwhelming, she obviously had never pictured this happening. And who knew what Mexico would bring? They were all relying on the idea that Strand's guy on the other side would come through and that hadn't already fallen apart. They really had no idea what they were walking in to and where they were really going.

Parents now? Well, it probably helped that Alicia and Bryce had basically been destined to be together - Madison had seen that ever since they were small, though it had not been her place to interfere and try to push them together. When they had gotten together, she had approved. She approved a little less when she caught sight of that hickey low on Alicia's collarbone, but if there was anyone her daughter should be with it was him. She had got a quick talk about being careful that ended on a high point: "I always knew you two were meant to be, and I have no doubt he will treat you like an angel. I'm happy for you."

Alicia mulled, though, after he asked her if there was anything she would like to see him in. Frankly, she thought he looked amazing in anything he touched. She also didn't really pay much attention to other peoples' clothes, so it wasn't a big point for her. However, she did love seeing him dressed up as well. Whether that was fancy dress pants and a tucked in button down or a suit, anything that verged just passed casual always looked great on him. Casual was good too, though - casual was great. "Is everything and nothing at all a valid option?" She asked with a cheeky little grin.

----

Pulling her hands over her head earned Nick another low growl, and Anna sure didn't give up her hold on him too easily. Normal, claws could have to be pried from flesh; he didn't get anything from her he didn't earn and for someone so small and generally out of shape, she was damned hard to move if she didn't want to be. This time came with less fuss, though: a slight resistance before she relaxed her muscles enough to be manipulated. She was more interested in having him close than a perceived act of submission to him. However, that pinning took away her main form of acting on her pleasure and without a solid grasp on him to rein her in, she was left writhing. Her fingers curled in to her palms so tight she probably made herself bleed.

What got her though? The way he whispered to her. No one pet-named her - Molly, sure. Anyone else, no. At least, that had been the case until he came around and she had found out she loved it when he was calling her those names. Nothing cutesy or implying naivety or innocence, though. Also, him telling her to not hold back brought her many a memory of the little games they would play, her teetering on the edge and begging for release as he made her hold back. They may not be doing that today (which she appreciated) but those were some great times. Sure, she got growly when she didn't get what she wanted but from she had seen the affect that had on him just made things even better. She tightened around him, muscles in her core spasming as her hands grasped at each other. She couldn't help it - she needed to have her hands on something, and she she held on tight as the second wave hit her, this one stronger than the first. Her back arched and pushed her body firm against his, pushing her hips against both his hand and his thrusts as she moaned loud against his mouth. "Fuck," she exhaled, hips shaking with every slight movement of his.

"Cum inside me," she breathed against him; she didn't know if they were reaching that point yet but the request was simple and she was at the point of aching to feel his release. To this day he was still the only person she had ever let do that, implant be damned - and even he was only allowed to because of that. She figured the fact that she so much as said that implied they wouldn't have to worry if he did. It was primal, passionate - and also came with a lot of implicit trust.

Alicia had a very valid point. If their biggest problem was running from parents and not getting caught naked in bed, then life would have been fantastic. To be fair, Bryce thought his life was still amazing with all things considered. Yeah, he wished they did not have to deal with the dead roaming the streets but that did not matter. With Alicia as his girlfriend and his lover, it was tough to say that life was not great. He supposed that their love, their bond was so strong that even with the literal world collapsing around them, he would still feel so happy and enamored because of this girl. She had that impact on him.

In the same way that Madison approved of their relationship, his own mother and father would approve as well. When Bryce’s father died, they were only about 13 years old. Yet, he could see the young adolescents beginning a romantic path. In the last years of his mother’s life, she was constantly ragging on Bryce about why he did not ask Alicia out yet. He was almost certain she and Madison had conversations about it. Even better, Alicia’s father had always adored Bryce, too. Much like his own father, he died early in their lives. If this had been another teenage boy constantly hanging around Alicia all the time back in the day, something told Bryce her father would have tried to separate them. Yet, it was Bryce and he had known Bryce forever, too. The girlfriend’s father was supposed to hate the boyfriend but that would have never been the case here.

Upon hearing the response, Bryce smirked. This was the answer he honestly expected to hear. Still, he wanted to ask. Besides, maybe there was something she liked, Bryce could never know. “Of course, Princess. That’s a perfect answer.” Therefore, Bryce could only play it by ear. If she changed her mind and they crossed something by a store that she liked, Bryce would use it. “I feel the same way about you, though. No matter what you wear, I’ll love it because I love the girl underneath the clothes. I like the idea of being able to dress all nice for you in something you’d like to see me in.” Bryce clarified, nuzzling their noses together. Obviously, he would never force her to wear something he wanted but it was smart to just put it out there that he would like this.

-------------------

When Nick pinned Anna’s arms down, he enjoyed the fight that came with the growl. Never had he expected anything easy or simple. To be honest, he did not want it that way. To some, it might sound psychotic but being given resistance in certain areas was sexy in Nick’s opinion. The battle for dominance was incredible and Nick had no idea how he had ever enjoyed sex with a girl that just let her body act limp and not move back against him like this. Some girls would just kiss and hold onto his back – that was nice but not ideal. Anna knew everything that Nick enjoyed and it was obvious that she did not forgot. That growl from her throat combined with the resistance earned her a nice reward of another kiss on her neck and a moan from Nick’s lips as well. Typically, in bed, he was on the quieter side, especially compared to Anna. Most of his arousal emanated through gasps and heaves of breaths. So, when Nick reached a point where he was moaning again and again, it proved how aroused he felt. This was something else for sure. His body had been craving Anna for so long and now that it had Anna, Nick was unsure of how patient he could be. Yet, Anna did know the perfect threshold between resisting or submitting without too many problems. Again, she represented these things that Nick wanted perfectly.

At one point, Nick thought about a throwback with making the girl hold off on her orgasm until he allowed her to have it. This was something else they enjoyed but Nick decided to forego that tonight. Honestly, he just wanted to fuck her without restrictions. While it was fun, he was enjoying this just as much as anything else. Having remembered her body perfectly, Nick knew when she was teetering on the brink of sublime. The next orgasm sent shockwaves through Nick’s body, even. Nothing sounded as lustful as her unheralded moans. When she gave the order that she wanted him to cum inside of her, it made the male smirk again. He had been thinking about this lately. On one hand, he thought about if he should have used a condom, but this happened too quickly for him to think. Besides, Nick had never enjoyed the use of condoms. There was nothing that compared to the animalistic, genuine nature of releasing inside of a woman, especially Anna. If it had been anyone else, he would prefer a condom. It might not make sense to many but it made sense to Nick. In essence, he only wanted this pure sex with Anna and nobody else. “I will, baby… but you have to earn it first. I’m so close… help me over the edge.” It was a challenge. Though they should both know it would not take much, he loved posing that little flirtatious challenge, hoping she reached deep down for whatever she could find to help him reach an orgasm.

Alicia also found being with Bryce made life automatically enjoyable, but that didn't dull her to the risks that awaited them when they walked outside. If anything, that just made her appreciate having him around even more. Having him meant she would always know that someone was watching her back, and and it also gave her an appreciation for the fragility of life and how important it was to love the people around her while she still had the chance to do so. Of course, realizing that had been what had brought her to his room that first fateful night aboard the yacht. She had stopped worrying that the worst would happen and taken advantage of what was right in front of her - now if only she had done so years ago. Bryce would forever be her best friend and probably her soul mate, too. She didn't really believe in the concept of soulmates, but if they were actually a thing Bryce was definitely hers.

So she smiled again because she couldn't but smile when she was around him. Every word he spoke, every movement of his mouth - it was all she needed and she pressed a soft kiss to his lips as he rubbed their noses together. It was such a soft, sweet gesture and while Alicia had known that Bryce was a sweet person she had never imagined he was this sugary. Of course, this was not a problem for her at all, in fact she loved it. "Well if we come across a clothing store at some point, let's pick out something for each other. Doesn't have to be fancy, just... Something." She ran her fingers gently through his hair as she made that suggestion. Surely at some point they would come across a clothing store - and yeah, it was bound to end up at least partially looted but even just swearing a plain t-shirt he picked out for her would make Alicia happy. "Then we can, I dunno, find a can of tuna left in some grocery store and maybe some secret distillery that just happens to have a couple bottles of tequila. Pair it with some fresh, delicious plain water to dilute it because soon enough there will be no more soda or juice. How's that sound for a date?" Her tone was joking but she would seriously find anything enjoyable if it was paired with Bryce.

Yeah - Anna was the opposite of passive; whether it was putting up a fight or simply just doing her share of the work, she was rarely still and never simply a receptacle. No one dominated her without earning it, and no one touched her in the first place without her say so. She'd had issues with that in the past, getting people to listen to her when she said no. It wasn't often but when she said she didn't want something she simply didn't and that was the end of story, listen or fuck off. Another thing about Nick was that she had never once been put in a place where she would have to worry about boundaries being crossed or being made to do something she didn't want to - and that fact had added to how much exploration she had been open to with him. With him there were rarely hard limits, but if something came up she wasn't liking she knew all she had to do was say a couple words or push against him the right way and that would be that. Condoms had been one of those topics; they'd wasted a lot of money on them (and stole many from Molly's stash) in the first... six-ish? months of their relationship, and when she'd gotten herself something better she had still pushed for them - and he had continued to use them whether he particularly enjoyed it or not, until the day she had told him they could consider going without. No fuss, no hassle - a word here and there but no push for her to change her mind. Things like that were what made Anna feel so comfortable with him.

"Do I now?" Oh, cute - he had thought she even needed to try. Even after all this time, Nick's body came naturally to her; if anything, this adventure had proved that. So he challenged her and she was going to take him up on that - drive her hips up in to his to push him in as deep as he could go, work with every little one of those tics she knew of. Her body had relaxed slightly (she was definitely on the verge of over-stimulated and the quivering in her thighs did not agree with the fact that the rest of her had chilled out a bit) and she was going to take advantage of having that control back. In one fluid motion she pulled her arms in towards her body, arched her back so their chests were flushed together and bucked her hips in to his. Her knees used his ass for leverage, pulling him tight in to her. At the same time she took advantage of their angle, his neck left open, and a nip of flesh turned in to lips and tongue and hot breath against his skin.

It was almost like Alicia could read Bryce’s mind. Perhaps they were so in-sync that many ideas they had were similar. “I love those ideas, Princess. I’d enjoy seeing you wearing something for me – anything at all just as I’d love to please you the same way as well.” Then, she mentioned about a fancy date with canned tuna and diluted tequila. It might not have been the conceptual idea of a dinner date, but in days like this, Bryce would love that. “I think that’s a great idea, too. Honestly, I’d be happy sharing just about any meal with you and calling it a date. Just being with you on any date is good enough for me.” Though they technically did not need to have a date because there were many other things to worry about in this new world. Yet, Bryce saw these romantic, couple-y things just as important. They could not let this situation impact their entire lives to the point where all they do is survive. They needed to live, as well. There was a difference between living and surviving. Many only cared about just making it through each day without focusing on happiness or other human emotion. After all, this is what separated them from the dead anyways.

“I love you so much, Alicia Clark. I can’t wait to take you out on a nice date. I’m hoping we’ll get a chance to do something by the beach again. I guess it really depends on where in Mexico we are going, but if we get the chance and we find a safe place, I love the idea of sharing some nice picnic on the beach like we used to.” When they did not just sit on the beach and talk, they would often take a blanket and eat lunch together. Many times, they sneaked out of school during lunch to share a meal around the boardwalk. Those were the days. The only difference between then and now would be that this picnic would have been full of kisses and touches. “Speaking of the beach… maybe we’ll get lucky enough to actually enjoy the beach again. I was talking about things I enjoy seeing you wear… a bikini is up near the top too.” He said with a teasing chuckle, still moving his hands through her hair. Now, Bryce decided to continue focusing on stroking her hair so she could feel relaxed and get ready for bed as Bryce felt himself getting close to falling asleep as well.

------------------

Nick held a great deal of respect and love for Anna. Whenever she requested he stop, Nick stopped. Honestly, it had only happened once or twice. The boundaries for the brunette were understandable and comprehensive. The last thing Nick ever wanted to do was upset Anna or do something she was uncomfortable with. They played in the bedroom and she resisted him sometimes. However, the resistance was not real. It was simply there to make him earn everything and Nick enjoyed it. When Anna grew serious and wanted to stop whether she was not in the mood (which might have been the rarest thing in the world) or she felt uncomfortable with something, Nick did not fuck around. The idea was dropped and Nick quickly pulled his then-girlfriend into his arms for cuddling, kissing, and loving. The male knew her limitations and knew how to avoid them – but to always push them. What fun was it without pushing the limits and boundaries as long as they were both comfortable? The kind of sex they often had – two people needed to trust and respect each other to have it. That existed in tremendous amounts between the couple. Therefore, Nick always felt comfortable losing control around Anna. The flow of their sex and experience in the bedroom never led him astray. He always felt assured that they were a perfect match because they understood each other so well. Even after years apart, their mutual understanding remained. Nick found himself easily lost within Anna’s touch. Everything was fluid and natural like they had not taken time away from each other. She was so familiar – this was so familiar and Nick realized how dearly this had been missed during the past couple years.

It appeared posing a challenge had the exact impact Nick wanted. From the cute look on her face after his mentioning the challenge to the change in her body movement becoming more fervent, looking to grant him more pleasure. Well, newsflash – it was working like a charm, of course. During the barrage of kisses on his neck, Nick tilted his head slightly to the side, offering more room for Anna to kiss. The smile only grew on his face from here and his moans were falling rapidly yet again. Keeping him in tight to her body, pressing every inch together, and just the general emotions being involved quickly toppled Nick over the edge. After a couple more thrusts and kisses, Nick finally reached his climax. It started with a moan full of lust and Anna’s name before every inch of his cock throbbed and clinched before flexing to the point where his orgasm had reached. Four spurts escaped from the tip, shooting inside of the woman, filling her tight sex up like he had always done. Nick moaned loudly again, moving to capture her lips against his own as he was riding out this physical high, unable to think about anything else right now.

Alicia chuckled as he acknowledged her idea and she really hoped it would be a while before what she had suggested would be the prime of romance. Sure, she would find anything that they did together romantic but even in this world a girl could dream about having some sort of proper meal for her first date, maybe a bottle of wine. Alicia was not a big drinker, she wasn't a fan of any kind of intoxicant thanks to watching them control her brother, but it only felt right that a girl has a glass of wine as she fine dine's her lover. Okay, that entire sentence minus "lover" sounded ridiculous nowadays but that didn't stop her from enjoying the idea. Only they would be able to lay around and talk about dates while the world collapsed around them - but she wouldn't want it any other way.

"It's Mexico, we're stopping on shore. As long as we don't go too far inland, there's bound to be a beach somewhere. At least, I hope there is," she gave him another gentle, sleepy kiss as she mused about dates and beaches and memories and the fact that some of those beach memories should have been date memories and ah fuck it - they could make new ones. The fact that they had been yet to act on their desire for one another did not change how great those memories had been. Everything, their entire lives, had been spent building up to this, and Alicia couldn't help the little smirk that formed on her face as Bryce mentioned seeing her in a bikini (again - it would not be the first time).

"Mm, you just want an excuse to see me half-naked," she teased as she let out a content sigh. They were both starting to feel sleepy, so it probably would be best if they gave in to that. They had missed the drama outside their room after Reed had been disarmed earlier, so they were yet to be aware that the rising of the sun would mark a big day: they were finally going to end up on shore, and see exactly what Strand had planned for everyone. They knew they were going to need their energy though - that and after Bryce's massage and his soft touches, Alicia could feel her eyes starting to flutter closed. "Hey, we should probably go to sleep. Tomorrow's probably going to be busy."

----

One more love bite - Anna caught the flesh up high on his neck, just below his ear and as he pushed deep in to her, throbbing and at his peak, she pulled her hands free and grabbed at him near frantically, pulling their bodies as close together as she could muster. She continued to push her hips against him, keeping him as deep inside of her as possible as he came in to her. She was still sensitive and the warmth of his semen inside of her was all she needed to go over that edge a final time and the room was filled with the echos of both their moans as they rode each other out. Her fingertips pulled down his back and she held him close by the back of the head, continuing to kiss him even after their orgasms had both subsided.

She was not letting go of him just yet, not unless he made her. The moment they let up and pulled apart was the moment this was over and Anna really was not ready for that. If she pulled away she was going to want to cuddle up to him, if she cuddled up to him she was going to want to never leave - of course, she already never wanted to leave but that would only be amplified. So really, there was no good call to make besides to keep kissing him. Her legs fell from around her, finally able to relax and as the hand on his back slid off his side she brought it to his face in an almost delicate but still needy touch. "I need a few more minutes of you," she whispered against his lips before the pace and hunger of her lips relaxed in to something much less primal and much more like a lover's. Maybe it was wrong, maybe she shouldn't have. Maybe she should have just pushed him to the side and walked away, because all staying was going to do at this point was make her less and less willing to leave. Her need to be near him was winning out against that reality, though.

“You’re right, Princess. I wish you weren’t.” Time passed quickly. In fact, time was lost. It must have been a good three hours spent in bed when sex, cuddling, kissing, and talking were combined. Tired, but still somewhat full of energy, Bryce’s body relaxed into the mattress. “Good night, my sweet Princess. I love you.” Though that “l” word had been stated many times the past few days, Bryce would never tire of saying it. Finally, the dark-haired male nuzzled his nose against Alicia’s and gave her a good night kiss. These past few days had not been without it. If Bryce could help, Alicia would never have to sleep without a good night kiss ever again. After their lips touched softly, he pulled away and assumed a more comfortable cuddling position. His arm was underneath her head, allowing the girl to use both his arm and the pillow for comfort. His other arm was wrapped around back. Again, their legs tangled together underneath the sheets and those sheets were pulled tight over their bodies. Perhaps sleeping nude in the apocalypse was not always smart, but for now, why not? Bryce doubted anything would make them regret this decision. Besides, nothing felt more comforting than the skin against skin contact like they had now.

Before closing his eyes for certain tonight, Bryce stole one final glance at his girlfriend’s peaceful face. Besides, this was the exact image Bryce wanted in his head before falling asleep. Now, the man finally allowed himself to relax, close his eyes, and drift asleep. He found that many nights, sleep was not easy. Losing his father combined with practically losing his mother to alcohol and depression during his high school days impacted Bryce dearly. Most nights, he tried to ensure that his mother had not drank herself to death or overdosed on antidepressants. Losing both parents made him and his sister responsible for raising each other.

Needless to say, he tossed and turned all the time but there was one common denominator. Even before they dated, Bryce and Alicia had fallen asleep on the same bed or couch before. Ironically enough, it gave him enough peace and happiness to fall asleep and rest well. Falling asleep was just half the battle. Tonight was no different with the woman of his dreams tucked away against his arms and chest. His breathing evened and his mind was not full of nightmares. It was a dreamless sleep, allowing him to truly rest without any major interruption.

------------------

Not fighting Anna when she reached to pull him close, Nick allowed his body to mold wherever she wanted. One of his favorite feelings involved Anna’s urge to pull him close when they had sex. As always, when his orgasm reached, his cock was as deep inside of the woman as physical possible. Nick always aimed for his deepest thrust to connect around this time and he hardly ever failed. Nearly the same time Nick released, he felt Anna’s orgasm follow. For a third time tonight, his cock was drenched with her juices in the most pleasurable, exciting way. Even while his girth was growing flaccid, Nick derived a great sense of happiness from this. Though he had intended to distance himself after the orgasm, he found that being caught in a web of her kisses made escape improbable. Like Anna, Nick realized that once tonight as over… this was over, too. Was that something he wanted? Hell no. Just when her legs released him and her arms did as well, Nick had prepared himself to roll over so she could move. When Anna said that she needed a few more minutes of him, Nick fought the urge to say “I need a lifetime of you” because it was true, but he could not speak it for many reasons.

Even as this was becoming gentle, Nick did not fight her off. He did not fight the way these events were happening either. Should he have? Probably? Instead, Nick just remained silent and did not react to her other than nodding his head after her last statement. Nick would be damned if he was the one to tell her to leave tonight. Instead, he just started to kiss her and play with her hair before rubbing and massaging her back. Minutes turned into half an hour and Nick was becoming sleepy and cuddly as he always did after sex – especially after high sex. Not meaning to do it, Nick was soon knocked out in a prime cuddling position. The blankets half-covered their bodies when Nick fell asleep. The only way they did not spend the night together would be if Anna was the one to leave now that her ex had fallen asleep on accident.

Alicia was asleep pretty quickly after they curled up together and pulled the blankets up, and like Bryce she had always slept best when he was near. Now that was amplified, because rather than simply passing out in the same area, she was able to cuddle up to him and he sound of his heartbeat in his chest lulled in her in to a soft, peaceful slumber. He had always been her calm in the storm; when anything had gone wrong in her life, he had been the one person to calm her. This extended to even when her father had passed away - without his near-constant attention that first week or so Alicia probably would have lost herself to depression and sleep deprivation, at least for a little while. They had both seen each other lose parents and they had both stuck with each other through it all; in the end, even back then their devotion to each other had shown. She had only been fourteen when her father had passed and Bryce even younger when his did - what sort of kids knew even at that age that they would willingly carry the burden of the others' grief if need be? They did, apparently.

Morning came quick; Alicia was the first to wake up as usual, and she let Bryce sleep a few more minutes before she woke him up with sweet whispers and soft kisses. By the time they had taken a quick shower, shared because wasting water in a world like this - not very good, even if they happened to have an almost infinite supply around them. By the time they had finished most of the others had woken up too, and while Alicia didn't think anything of her brother missing breakfast she did notice that he seemed to be sleeping in pretty late. Well, maybe he had just had a rough night. It didn't take long for Madison to catch them up on everything that had happened the previous day and Alicia couldn't believe her brother had swam to shore not once but twice. Breakfast came and went, and Alicia spent most of the morning either lounging on deck with Bryce or checking in on how things were going.

It appeared to be that everything was moving smoothly - Luis was prepared to help them get passed the border and while his plan with Strand (whatever that may be) didn't include so many people, things were going to work out. That is, until the coastguards began moving in their direction. That was not part of the plan - everyone was going to have to move. Alicia was put on Nick-grabbing duty and along with Bryce they made their way to grab her brother from his room. She knocked on the door twice before opening it and stepping right in, immediately speaking up and expecting nothing of it.

"How are you still asleep? It's almost noo- oh, my God." Not only did Alicia immediately avert her eyes as soon as she realized there was a second body in the she pulled the door as close to shut as she could. Okay, be mature about this Alicia - they must have just been talking. Exes did that right? No, that couldn't be the case because she was definitely shirtless and by the rest of the clothes scattered around, neither of them were decent. Fuck. Alicia didn't curse much but in that moment, she really wanted to. "There's been a bit of a problem getting over the border, we all need to get down in to the engine room. There's no time to waste."

As soon as she had said what she needed to she pursed her lips and shook her head. Without saying a word on what had just happened to her boyfriend, she looked up and sighed. "Walk away, Bryce. We're just gonna walk away right now."

----

Anna genuinely did not mean to fall asleep there - she really hadn't. She knew that waking up in the morning with him would probably break her heart all over again. Somehow, that didn't stop her. His soft touch and post-sex cuddles didn't help that at all - by the time he had passed out Anna was also pretty much at that point. A slight roll of her torso and her head was against his chest, giving her plenty of room to hold on to him. Almost as soon as she stopped moving, Anna was out like a light. While she may have only gotten a few hours before a loud knock on the door startled her awake, cuddled up to Nick was the best she had slept in... well, probably since the last time she had gotten to sleep with him. It wasn't the knock that woke her, really - all that did was make her grumble and bury her head against warm flesh. It was the voice that filled the room after the knocks that really spooked her, jolting her body in to Nick's while her eyes froze wide open.

The first thing she saw was him - okay, bad event part one. The next thing she saw was Alicia, rapidly closing the door as she continued to speak. Anna could tell from the gentle pressure of a blanket that they were at least partially covered - the worst Alicia got a sight of was her bare back. That did not stop the alarms from ringing in Anna's head as she tried to work out what she was supposed to do now. If the intruder in the room didn't wake Nick up, the way she grabbed at him when she jumped sure as hell did. Anna didn't work well when she was woken up unexpectedly - anyone who knew her knew that if they wanted to wake her up they had to be gentle about it. No loud voices, no slammed doors - waking up straight to a lot of stimulation just freaked her out. Because of that it took her a moment to calm down enough to take her hands off of his shoulders and the few seconds of eye contact that occurred as she tried to remember had to breathe were probably the longest few seconds to ever happen - ever.

"Fuck." Of course the first word out of her mouth for the day would be fuck - that was nothing new. Her forehead rested against Nick's chest for a quick moment as she took a deep breath, and as much as she probably should have pulled away then, she didn't. Her next instinct was to stretch, as it always was, and from the way she was positioned lying down she was pretty much sitting on his lap when she made herself vertical. As she arched her back and pulled clasped hands far in one direction and then the other, she didn't even really think about the fact that she was effectively straddling and grinding against her ex - that is, until she finished pulling on the second hand. After a quick apologetic look she climbed off of him and she groaned, resting her face in her hands and then wiping the sleep out of her eyes.

"So uh, yeah. This happened. Worst decision ever or?" Frankly she had no idea how to approach the fact that they were in this room together, post one of the best fucks in her life, naked - she was pretty much relying on his response to let her know how she should act. She was a little sore but her neck felt worse and she could only imagine the damage done. Luckily, she had a lot of hair and from what she could tell from the location of the dull throbbing, pretty much everything was coverable. Nick? She hadn't really gotten a good sight of the damage she had done before she'd turned away - hopefully it wasn't too bad. Anna remembered everything very clearly, but she also knew that he didn't want to. So much for that, huh? Instead of looking at him or waiting for a response she got to her feet and started gathering clothes, tossing any that were Nick's in his direction and pulling hers back on to her body.

Waking up to Alicia kissing his face and lips combined with those soft whispers was the best way to wake up. The same smile on his face when Bryce fell asleep remained across his lips when his eyes opened for the morning. After a flurry of kisses, Bryce joined his girlfriend for a shower. Although they did not waste time or water, Bryce did take advantage of being able to touch her naked body again. After showering, Bryce dressed himself in a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and hiking boots. With Alicia, Bryce joined the group for breakfast. Sitting beside the brunette, Bryce had one hand resting on her thigh almost the entire time. When Madison caught them up on the events of last night and evening, Bryce could barely believe his ears. Considering all that happened, it might have been best that he and his girlfriend were in their own little world when it happened. In the end, Nick was safe, Travis was safe, and Nick’s ex-girlfriend was safe. It had been a difficult day for everyone, but it ended with no casualties or major injuries on their side. Bryce had Alicia safely in his arms and he was at peace.

During the day, Bryce spent time with Alicia, lounging on the deck with her head in his lap or her hand in his. Eventually, the Abigail was approaching a Mexican flotilla guarding the border. Luis prepared to pay for the passage of everyone even if there was not enough money for all these passengers. When the patrol boat approached, Luis panicked. More than one officer joined the contact he had. Afraid this might blow their cover, he ordered the families down below the deck. Everyone needed to go down to the engine room and keep their cover for now. Since Alicia was ordered to awake Nick and bring him to the engine room, Bryce followed. Honestly, they were a package deal. If Alicia went somewhere, Bryce followed and vice versa. When they promised one another they would never get separated or leave each other’s side – they were both serious. Bryce laced fingers with Alicia until they reached the door. He offered some room, remaining outside the door until she had the chance to wake Nick. She only remained in the room for a few seconds and Bryce could not see inside. Therefore, he was unsure what happened. Alicia looked pissed off and there were only a handful of things that could have caused it. Was Nick in bed with Anna? Bryce knew how Alicia felt about Anna being around Nick. Biting on his lower lip, Bryce decided to just keep himself quiet and follow the brunette until they were outside of earshot.

“Leesh…” He purred quietly. “What’s the matter, Princess? Is everything okay in there?” Bryce questioned, linking hands with her again. On the way to the engine room, Madison spotted them as well and wanted to ask where her son was. “Did you find Nick? Is he not in his room?” The blonde questioned, expecting to see Nick with her daughter as they were going towards the engine room.

--------------------

Falling asleep was a move Nick regretted. Just like Anna suspected, waking up the next morning in the same bed together was heartbreaking. The drugs would have worn off. The natural high from their sex would have been removed. Fully sober was not the way Nick wanted to be when facing such a situation. With the brunette in his arms, the world felt right. His arms remained around her head and during his sleep, the male had basically rolled over against the female as well. There was hardly an inch in-between their bodies that did not involve skin touching skin. If Nick could have it his way, then every morning would happen like this. Unfortunately, knowing that this was literally the only morning where this would happen could be now. The male wanted to enjoy it. If he had woken up before Anna, then he might have just used that time to enjoy his time with the woman. Unfortunately, it did not work out that way. Instead, his eyes first woke by the sound of knocking on the door. Well, the first mistake that Nick made was not locking the door. It showed to screw him over right now because when the voice started talking, he cursed in his head.

Even while Alicia was talking, Nick glanced left and right to find out that Anna was still beside him. The girl opened her eyes and they looked at each other, both silently with regret. This was a mistake. This was a horrible fucking mistake (at least now it was with Alicia entering the room). Perhaps they could just take their time if they were alone to talk things over. But now, with Alicia was here, there was no time to do anything. Plus, she seemed to have an urgent message as well. This was not ideal at all. Nick only wished for a few minutes of privacy to send Anna away. Nope. It had not happened. Nick felt Anna grab onto his shoulders so that did not make things worse. Wait. Their bodies! Oh, shit. They were both nude. They were barely covered! Alicia would see both upper bodies bare and draw conclusions. There was no chance she could think they were just cuddling, right? Nick would not even try to explain it that way to Alicia. She was not naïve. He wanted to repair their damaged relationship but this was probably not the way to do it.

After Alicia left, there was this incredibly tension in the room. It was awkward more than anything though. Sighing quietly when Anna moved on his body, she did not help anything by doing this. She was touching him in just the right spots to drive him wild. Of course, he doubted she did that on purpose. But it happened and Nick could barely contain himself. When she finally rolled off, he felt some level of relief while glancing towards Anna. Well, damn. What did they do now? Though he wanted to talk about this shit they were in, they had no time. Instead, they needed to get down to the engine room with the others. They needed to hide and it was urgent so they could not waste much time here. Trying to figure out how to respond with Anna’s observation, Nick caught some of his clothes and pulled on those brown pants, white shirt, and sneakers. Once he was dressed, sitting on the edge of the bed before looking at the ground and then back towards Anna. Shrugging his shoulders, all he could do was sight before offering the response.

“I don’t know. I didn’t think it was bad… I mean, I enjoyed it. If we both enjoyed it, what’s wrong with it?” Nick responded, thinking they could just have sex with each other and keep it at that. “I don’t think we do well with emotions though. We can try this again. I don’t care. Let’s not overthink it. I guess. I don’t know really… I know what I want… but I don’t know if you want it too so.” Nick trailed off and shrugged his shoulders again before walking out of the room slowly. “We can figure this out later. Let’s just get down below deck, alright?” He suggested, turning back towards the door to walk out.

"Everything's fine Bryce; I just... I already knew way too much about my brother's sex life before today and I was really hoping to never have to think about that again." Two and a half years: that was how long it had been since the last time that Alicia had been woken in the middle of the night to bed creaking and moans from the next room over. Anna had rarely slept over, and only been able to for a few of the early months, but the siblings' beds shared opposite sides of the same wall so she had gotten more of an earful than she would have liked at times. Back then she was fifteen and had an instinctive "ew" reaction, put her headphones in with some music and passed back out. Now? Well, she had grown up a lot in the last few years and since she was having sex herself she didn't really have a right to be bothered about that. She wasn't. Her brother having a sex life wasn't the problem - it was the fact that Alicia's gut reaction was that Nick was going to end up hurt again. As much pain as Nick had caused her over the last few years as he came in and out of her life, she still loved him to death and she couldn't stand the thought of losing him again.

They had to keep moving though and just moments later, luckily after her remark was part of history, Alicia caught sight of her mother who immediately asked about Nick. It was one thing for her to know what Nick was up to, it would be a whole other thing for Madison to find out. She was a mama bear and incredibly protective of her son - Alicia wouldn't have been surprised if Anna got thrown overboard as soon as her mom found out. Therefore, she just gave her mother a smile like nothing happened and a quick acknowledgement as everyone continued on their way. "Yeah, he just has to get dressed and he'll be down. Anna too." Okay, the pair had rooms close to each other - it wasn't too out the left field for Alicia to have reasonably grabbed the girl's attention. Either way, Madison seemed content with that answer and Alicia was good at staying undetected. Before long everyone had huddled in to the engine room; Anna and Nick were the last to join, and maybe Alicia just felt tense but she swore the mere presence of the pair made the entire room feel more on edge.

That became the last thing on her mind, though - Daniel quickly found a spot against the door, quietly translating what the men above deck had to say while everyone else listened and waited.

---

"Don't worry man, all the bits were covered - worst she saw was my back and maybe a man nipple, I'm not 100% sure about that." Anna could tell that Nick was rather unnerved by what happened so she spoke as she pulled her shirt over her head, attempted to vaguely tame the mess of brown waves atop her head. Not happening - unfortunately her brush was back in her room but at least she could pass it off as bedhead rather than sex hair. She was being rushed, after all. Either way, it covered the marks along her neck and her tank top did a good job at covering the ones on her breasts. The last thing she grabbed, and the last thing she pulled on, were her pants. Meanwhile, Nick was sitting there unable to get his thoughts straight. Anna got it, she really did - she wasn't making much sense of where they were supposed to go from here. Of course, she had an idea as to what she liked but it was nothing she had the right to want from him so she would take what she was given.

"Yeah, you have a point. Let's go." Anna was done attempting to make herself presentable by the time that Nick walked towards the door and she followed just after him, closing it behind her. They were the last to join the group and Anna didn't mean to hover as close to Nick as she did, but just like having sex with eachother again had come naturally to them, staying close to him had always come natural for her. She wished she could be paying attention to what was going on, but as soon as she realized she was pretty much against him all bets were out the window there. She wasn't, not quite - she was slightly to the side and slightly in front with an overlap in their shoulders - but she was close enough that she could feel the warmth of his body and she had to fight to keep herself from backing up just a few centimeters further. They didn't do well with emotions - yeah, fuck, that was true, especially for her; didn't change that her feelings fueled everything she did though, especially when it came to him. If he just wanted to sleep with her she wasn't going to say no, but she also didn't know how well she would end up being able to detach that from her natural inclination towards him.

So Anna kept her mouth shut and tried to act casual, which worked surprisingly well. It appeared to be that the officers wished to search the yacht to ensure no dead were aboard, though, and suspicions arose about how a ship this large was only carrying two passengers. Moments later, gunshots fired from up on deck and panic ensued as people began to race to see what had happened.

A few words combined with Alicia’s expression told Bryce the story. Once they reached the engine room, the male decided to wrap his arms around his girlfriend. He stood in front of her, back towards the door. While he wanted to hug her, he would not stand behind her. If anyone blasted into this room firing bullets, Bryce intended on shielding Alicia. Of course, it was quite the dramatic conclusion to draw at first. Perhaps there was a peaceful interaction upcoming. Bryce’s gut told him otherwise though and for that reason, he just held onto Alicia and hoped they would remain that way until the threat was settled. Daniel translated the conversation between Strand, Luis, and the two officers. It was not going well. Both officers wished to search the boat to ensure they were the only two passengers. Thankfully, Bryce had the wherewithal to grab his handgun before leaving the room in case it was needed. Since Bryce was one of only two armed people in this room, he pushed his way forward when the gunshots erupted. It was uncomfortable releasing Alicia, but it was now his duty to help protect her, her family, and the others on board.

Together, Daniel and Bryce reached the deck first. Luis had been fatally wounded and the two officers were dead. Just in case there were other threats, Bryce checked around the deck and found that the coast was clear. To prevent Luis from turning, Daniel stabbed Luis in the head before throwing a medallion into the ocean that Luis had wanted his mother to have. Seeing this struck a chord with Bryce. Daniel was all business and did not seem like the best guy around. Yet, he was an important ally because of the skill he has. Either way, Bryce returned to the rest of the group as Strand steered the yacht towards the coastline of Mexico. Now that they had cleared their only obstacle from land, the Abigail had smooth sailing for the next half hour. However, after these events, Bryce could not help but feel rather hypervigilant. The male paced outside on the deck for a bit before looking back towards Alicia, spending time with her as they waited. When the Abigail docked, Bryce returned to his room and to Alicia’s room. After gathering their bags, he carried the rifle but handed the pistol to Alicia.

“Now that we’re going on land, you should probably hold onto this the entire time. You remember everything I taught you, right?” Bryce spent a great deal of time teaching Alicia about guns and using it, so he hoped she was good to go. Whenever Alicia took the gun, he led the way out of their room and towards the exit of the boat.

----------------

Proximity to Anna had never been negative: until now. The closeness was something he wished to not have. Well, he did want to be close with Anna, but he knew it was only going to crush his dreams in the end. After saying the words he did minutes before after Alicia left the room, Nick realized he screwed up. Way to go, man. If you were going to get her back, that’s not what you should have said. Dumbass. Nick was feeling pain and disappointment about what he had done. If he could go back, Nick might have made an attempt to make his true feelings known instead of trying to pretend like he did not care. It was bullshit because Nick did care – very much. While waiting in the engine room, Nick found himself close to Anna. It was not the biggest space, so there was nowhere to run. It was not helpful, though. Nick felt himself break into a sweat and not from the small room with many people around. This was all because of Anna. He wanted to get away, to have time for himself – to think things over. Man, Nick hated making those choices sober without a chance to think.

Yet, his mind was pulled out of the gutter when gunshots fired. This shit was not good. Nick worried for everyone’s safety. Had the shit he went through to find Luis and bring him onto the Abigail been for naught? Were they going to be captured by the Mexican police and taken somewhere? Prisoners? When they reached the top, Nick followed behind Bryce and Daniel. It was relieving to see the officers dead and Strand still in control of the boat. However, Luis was wounded and before Daniel could put him down, Nick dropped down, listening to a whisper in his ear. Luis expressed an interest of being returned back home to his other but Nick had no idea what that meant, exactly. He had no idea the way her mother believed about the infected. Unfortunately, Daniel had solved that problem before it became an issue and all three bodies were dead. He was going to leave but he decided to help Daniel rid all three bodies, just tossing them unceremoniously into the ocean. Daniel gave Nick a lesson about all dead people being the same. It was ironic because Nick walked among them before and he saw nothing the same about any two creatures.

When they reached he coast, Nick went to find his room again and take the few belongings he brought with him. On the way to and from his room, he encountered Anna but tried to avoid her for now. Yes, they did need to talk about things but he wanted to put that off for a while. Soon, Nick was the first to exit the Abigail, waiting on the docks where Strand had stopped the yacht and everyone was filing out after him.

"Yes, I do." While Alicia was careful as she grabbed the pistol from her boyfriend, she was not hesitant. Bryce had taught her well and she had a good memory. While she also had a knife on her, she was glad to know that she had the gun just in case. The first thing she did was check it, ensure it was loaded, and then make sure the safety was on. Once she knew that the gun was safe and ready, though she had no doubts that Bryce had also ensured that before handing her the gun, she was ready to leave the yacht. Alicia walked out behind Bryce and the pair stayed side by side as the group advanced inwards.

Eventually they came across a group of the dead as they moved through a small town. Outside of a church many of the recently turned awaited them, and the group had to make their way through. It appeared that Strand recognized a vehicle, and that left her feeling like they were on track - until her mother fell beneath one of the infected. Chris was closest and Alicia expected him to come to her mother's aid, even when she yelled to him he did not. In the end, Alicia had to take it down instead, and Chris not helping Madison was on par with how upset she was with Nick. It appeared to be that today just wasn't her day to be impressed with others.

They had to keep moving though; after the group had taken down the dead Alicia basically ended up in Bryce's lap as they began to drive off with a man known only to Strand. "I'm kind of worried," Alicia admitted to Bryce in a soft whisper. While overall she was hopeful, she still had no idea what they were getting themselves in to.

----

It appeared they were back to ignoring each other now that they were up and moving. That had been the original plan, hadn't it? To act like nothing had happened? Nick had said he'd had a good time but in the scheme of things that meant nothing - he could still want nothing to do with her and that was straight where Anna's mind went as everyone prepared to reach shore. She had passed him once as he was leaving his room so she dashed in and grabbed a couple things she had left in there - her pill bottle and belt, specifically. What made things more awkward was the fact that he had caught her on her way back out of his room. While they should have probably taken a moment to talked, it seemed that either neither of them actually wanted to or it was just bad timing - for her it was a mix. Talking on its own was fine but the less they did the less the risk she would have to hear him tell her that she wasn't wanted around him.

Anna had few belongings nowadays; all she had left fit in a little backpack. She'd never had a lot though and things meant little to her in the grand scheme of things - walking off of the Abigail came easy to her, though she remained cautious. There was a pocket knife in the pocket of her jeans, positioned to be easily reachable, and she was more than prepared to use it. She didn't want to, she wasn't quite used to having to take down the infected yet. The one back on the wreck had been the first one that she hadn't simply run away from. That changed as they passed through the town, though. She had little choice but to take down two of them - one of whom she had watched lunge towards Nick. Sure, could probably handle himself but she didn't want to let him. From that point on she was back to hovering close and having his back, thpugh she wasn't quite nearly as crowding as she had been back in the engine room.

When they arrived at the estate, property of Luis's mother, Anna hovered tentatively near the back of the group while Strand took off and the others began to figure things out. When it came to large groups of people she had a tendency to keep out of the drama. Besides, she was waiting for a chance to slip off abd leave sobriety behind again.

The town was called Valle de Guadalupe. A pile of dead parishioners stumbled around outside of a church not far off shore. A truck pulled up and apparently it was Victor’s contact. Before getting to the pickup truck, the small group fended off the infected. Bryce and Alicia handled themselves well but the young man watched how Chris refused to help Madison. When Alicia reached over to assist, Bryce was forced to cover Alicia’s back when another infected approached. Chris’ actions nearly cost Madison and Alicia both their lives. Thankfully, they all escaped and piled into the truck. Because of small, cramped room on the bed of the truck, Bryce pulled Alicia into his lap.

Her perfect ass against his crotch was enough to take his mind off the infected. During the ride, Bryce held Alicia tightly. His hands were laced around her waist and his lips brushed against her neck during every minute of the drive. Soon enough, they reached the estate where they were greeted by a woman named Celia. Celia was Luis’ mother. Upon learning the information from Strand, Bryce thought this had potential to collapse. What if she lost her temper after learning the fate of her son? What if she blamed the group and didn’t allow them inside?

However, when Strand informed Celia of Luis’ death, she seemed unaffected. It was almost like she thought he was still going to arrive. Piling out of the truck, Bryce ensured that Alicia stayed close to his side. They were surrounded by dozens of strangers. The male did not want to leave either of them open to potential attack. They did not know these people and Bryce did not feel safe yet. Perhaps he was just a generally worried and untrusting person in a time like this, but Bryce felt even more uncomfortable when they were asked to give up their guns. Reluctantly, Bryce handed over his rifle and knife.

----------------

During their battle with the infected, Nick watched Anna. The only reason he senses that she was watching his back was because he watched hers. Every single time he glanced towards the brunette, it looked as if she were watching him and keeping him safe. Perhaps Nick was wrong earlier. These were actions he would not take for granted. Having someone to watch your back in a world like this was so important. She stayed on his mind during the drive because of how close she was to his body. Even though she was not as close to him as she was in the engine room, Nick felt a desire to pull the woman against his body. However, he resisted long enough to just relax during the ride. When they reached this estate, Nick felt himself truly relax. There were fences in every direction. He spotted gardens and wells that could help the estate be self-supporting. Everything looked safe, too. Armed guards were posted at all possible entryways and exits. Nick doubted such a thing as truly safe existed anymore, but this place might get as close to that as possible. Perhaps this was just what the group needed to find. For now, Nick would try to enjoy the peace and harmony. The blood all over his clothing from earlier reminded him of their new world. Even though he related to the infected, it did not necessarily mean he always enjoyed their presence.

Jumping down from the truck, Nick followed everyone inside the estate. Before Luis died, he asked for Celia. Therefore, Nick found it necessary to approach the woman about it. Once weapons were handed over, he approached Celia in the kitchen and told her about her son’s last words. It was somewhat nerve-wracking to hear about her view on the dead. When she asked Nick if he was shot or stabbed in the head, the young man lied and told her that he was not.

That gave her hope that Luis would still return and even though Nick did not understand it, he would not question a grieving mother. It had been a long day and everyone was finding their rooms. He apparently waited so long that he missed the detail about having to share with each other. So, when Nick walked into a room that was designated as his, an expression of shock and concern showed on his face when he saw Anna inside the bedroom. “What are you doing here?”

Handing over her weapons had left Alicia unnerved at first; she didn't like the feeling of being vulnerable around so many people she didn't know. However after they got settled in the young woman began to feel less anxious; while this would be an adjustment it appeared that it would be a good one. The vineyard had walls and guards and gardens and wells - there was everything that they would need to survive and more. While she was still upset about Chris's discretion with her mother (and Nick's with Anna, but that was another story) overall Alicia saw potential, so as the day moved on and everyone began to settle in of course she was doing the same.

Alicia let out a sigh as she fell back on to a bed; the rooms on the Abigail were small and as such did not allow for big beds. While she hadn't minded sharing a single with Bryce, this was going to be so much better. She would be able to roll around if she wanted, pull away just far enough from him that their hands would still touch but neither of them would get bothered by the intense Mexican heat on top of each other's naturally warm bodies. Not to mention that there was now more room for other activities - as well as thicker walls and they weren't all cramped in to a small area where everyone could probably hear everything that happened. For a moment she laid there, eyes closed, as she took a deep breath.

"I know the walk here was long, but I saw a beach just over a cliff pretty close by. There's gotta be a way down there." She spoke as she raised her hands up to her boyfriend, silently requesting that he pulled her back to her feet. Her musings came back to a topic they had covered the previous night; getting to enjoy a beach once again. With everything calming down she wanted to hear what Bryce would think of maybe seeing if they could get down to the water and just having a little moment to themselves.

----

Anna had planned to take the couch - she really had. When talk about rooms had gone on, because they did not have enough to comfortably room everyone, she had been the first (and only) to offer to crash on the couch. It wasn't ideal but she knew she could crash anywhere if need be: it wouldn't be the worst place she'd slept, not even in the last month. She had somewhere else she would have rather been, but for now while there was nothing specifically off the table, there was also nothing on the table.

Anna knew Nick better than she did herself - and she knew that unless she did something they really would end up in stalemate where neither of them even had a chance to win. If they could perpetually not talk to or acknowledge each other (or at least what they did together) they probably would; talking about shit wasn't her forte and as far as she knew it wasn't Nick's either. At least, it hadn't been in the past - but could she really fault him? Talking mattered once upon a time and he had walked away, but he'd had a damn good reason to. Valid explanation or not, at least in her eyes, he had caught her in bed with someone else. However, she figured she stood a decent chance at getting another fuck in or (and?) a proper bed to sleep on if she made the first move.

Maybe she was wrong, but she doubted that, so while Nick was off talking to Celia she took to his room like she owned the place, laid on the bed with her hands up behind her head and just waited. Being in an actual bed, one that wasn't rocking with the waves, felt like too much to pass off and if Nick had taken any longer getting there she probably would have already passed out. Instead, while she was still lounging, she was awake and as soon as the door opened the slid her arms forward so that her elbows could help her up, and then she sat at the edge of his bed with her hands clasped between separated knees.

"Figured it wouldn't be the dumbest thing I've done in a while," she said with a shrug as she stood up and walked towards him. "Can I talk you in to letting me stay for a bit?"

The beach. What an incredible suggestion! The coast was located within the safe confines of the estate, but it was isolated enough for privacy. “I think you already know the answer to that, Princess.” Smiling from ear to ear, Bryce passionately kissed his girlfriend for at least three minutes before releasing her. “Let’s change into something fresh. Then, we can grab something to eat for a picnic on the beach together like we used to.” If they were lucky, they might settle down to catch the end of the sunset. As cheesy as it sounded, sharing a picnic on the beach during a sunset was so fucking romantic. Bryce needed that in his life, especially now.

Although this world prevented Bryce (or anyone) from having truly clean clothes, he slipped into a pair of dark blue boxers, jeans, and a green t-shirt with tennis shoes. Celia was nice enough to offer laundry for the group. The male would gather his clothing and set everything outside in a basket as it had been months since they had clean clothes to use. On the plus side, every room was full of men and women’s clothing they could use. Since they were going outside to the beach, Bryce decided not to mess anything up tonight other than what he had been wearing already.

Looking in the closet, Bryce was thinking about Alicia’s outfit and grabbed a pair of flip flops, offering them to her. It was a conversation they had the other day and now they had an opportunity for it, so he hoped she would take it. After they were dressed, Bryce suggested Alicia could grab a blanket or two for one another. After hearing the type of sandwich his girlfriend wanted, Bryce found himself in the kitchen. A sandwich was created for Alicia and a peanut butter sandwich was made for himself. After grabbing a small bag, napkins, and two bottles of water, Bryce rejoined the brunette and started the walk towards the beach – arms linked together.

-----------------

Fate was bullshit. Shit happened for no reason. Nick had never dictated his actions based off “signs” around him. Yet, this sign was difficult to ignore. How was it that when Anna was constantly on his mind today, she was even waiting for him in their bedroom. Sitting on the edge of the bed, she had no intentions of leaving. With one look into those eyes, Nick could tell exactly what she wanted. It was more than just a fuck. It looked like another chance. Strangely enough, Nick felt like he was the one that should ask for another chance despite all that had happened. How did he answer? What did he say to not fuck things up? Maybe that was it. Maybe trying to not fuck it up, was in turn, fucking everything up. What if he found their bliss from last night or the night before? What if Nick just flowed smoothly and let nature dictate his actions. Instead of focusing on an agenda, just go with it. Say whatever the hell was on his mind. Easy to think about? Sure. Easy to do? Not so much. Yet, Nick took a deep breath and turned away. Instead of storming out, the addict closed the door and locked it.

Turning back around, Nick ruffled his own hair and looked at Anna with a neutral face. “I’m an idiot.” He commented plainly and almost mysteriously. Was he talking about leaving Anna without giving her a chance to explain herself a couple years ago? Was he referring to their earlier expedition when Nick ignored her and brushed her off instead of talking? Yes to both and many other things. “I fucked up.” The man added without referring to any specific event. Was there a need? It was not like Nick ever won boyfriend of the year awards. They both had screwed up and it just happened that Anna had the worst screw up, the one that ended it all. Before Nick could talk himself out of the next move or before he even one hundred percent comprehended his next move, Nick’s legs were moving his body towards the bed. Unable to look away from Anna’s eyes, the male reached into her lap and grabbed her hands.

With a swift movement, he yanked her (somewhere in between gently and roughly) to her feet. The wall behind the bed was only a few feet away, so Nick trudged forward. Either Anna would step backwards or fall onto the ground because he was not stopping. Once the woman’s back pressed into the wall, he wrapped one hand around each of her smaller wrists and pinned her arms to the wall. Closing his eyes, Nick leaned in for another heavy kiss. Yet, this kiss felt more passionate than the previous nights, like it was fueled by emotions other than lust.

Bryce's approval brought an equally big grin to Alicia's face and as soon as they were done kissing she got straight to preparing to head out. She had been hoping to find something to dress up in, but realizing they most likely would just get whatever they wore even more dirty if they went down to the beach, she ended up in some jean shorts with a red tank top. With the sun setting they were at a much lower risk of sunburn, but it was still more than warm enough to warrant minimizing the layers. In fact, evening seemed perfect. Combined with the flip flops Bryce acquired (Alicia gave him a sly grin as he handed her those, hopeful look on her face) this seemed like it would be quite the trip.

She had been about to go make the food for them after she finished getting changed, but she quickly discovered the reason why Bryce had asked her what kind of sandwich she wanted: he was making the food for them. Alicia had been more than prepared to, she loved any sort of cooking, but this was just one more bonus point to Bryce. After the food was done they began walking over towards the beach; it didn't take long for Alicia to catch sight of a bath down to the water and she eagerly lead Bryce in that direction. Before long, they had arrived - she had a blanket tucked between her free arm and her body and she let go of Bryce just long enough to give them a space to sit near the water.

"Definitely as nice as I thought it would be," Alicia said as they settled in; he had his meal and she had hers, and Alicia was tucked up against his body with her free hand around his waist. Luckily, they had managed to arrive in time to watch the sun dip beyond the horizon.

----

"I'm pretty sure we both did." Like Nick, Anna was referencing everything and nothing in particular all at the same time; before she could even finish the sentence she was being pulled in to him and then pushed back against the wall. She moved easily with him until she was pinned between his body and the wall, with her hands against the wall. Nick and hands - he loved to pin hers but fuck, she liked being able to use them. It was one of those things that always tore her two ways - on one hand, the essence of control over her was hot, on the other she had her need to be touchy. Tonight, his touch was winning out over her own desires and as soon as he leaned in to kiss her, Anna was already meeting him half-way.

There was something about kissing him this time that felt different from the last; their last had been high and hazy, focused on sex and then nothing at all. This time they were wide awake, fully sober - maybe he wasn't aware to the same degree that she was but Anna was completely aware of every last touch and movement as if every inch of her was on fire. Nick had a way of putting her senses in to overdrive in all the right ways and god she had missed being able to feel him. Unable to grab at him she pushed her hips in to his body, driving them closer together as her teeth caught on his lower lip, pulling rough but not aggressively. "I'll take this as a yes," she remarked against his lips before going in for another kiss, referring to her earlier remark about wanting to be allowed to stay.

At first, there was a comfortable silence between the couple. Bryce’s left arm was wrapped around Alicia’s shoulder. His right hand lifted the sandwich towards his mouth. Blue eyes were watching the sun disappear (while occasionally (maybe more than occasionally) glancing towards the beautiful girl beside him). It was finally broken after Bryce halfway finished his sandwich. After swallowing the small amount of water he sipped, his lips pressed a soft kiss to Alicia’s temple. “As beautiful as the sunset was… it pales in comparison to you.” After whispering this into her ear, Bryce nuzzled his nose sweetly against her cheek. Saying this to Alicia was NOT just a form of flattery. Did he hope it flattered her and made her smile? Hell yeah, he did. But – it was genuine. Bryce had zero exaggeration about that belief. It might sound like an opinion to everyone, but to Bryce, it was a hardcore fact.

Clearly, Bryce was a hopeless romantic. The clichés, the cheesiness – he adored it. As if he needed to prove that point again, he reached across to grab Alicia’s sandwich. Then, he held it to her lips. It was not something that was scarcely done between the couple. Many times, even before the conception of their relationship, Bryce would steal food from her plate and feed her whether by hand, fork, or other utensil.

After all, he did find the cheesy scenes of feeding the girl a couple bites of the food in shows and movies as quite romantic. This time, there was a much more intimate feel. After feeding her a couple bites, Bryce finally released the food back into Alicia’s hand. Eager for the remainder of the night, because he had a feeling of where this was leading, Bryce quickly finished his sandwich. Who would have ever known he would have been so thankful for a peanut butter sandwich as he was now? The water washed it down and the only thing for him to do now was wait for Alicia to finish.

--------------------

Believing these two people had undergone a couple years void of each other’s touch sounded asinine. Judging by the kissing and touching between Nick and Anna thus far, they were picking up right where they left off. When Anna admitting to making mistakes as well, Nick acknowledged her within the kiss. Tonight was not about words. The words that NEEDED to be said had been spoken (although in an indirect manner, but still) and everything else was revealed in actions. As far as Nick could tell, this was him accepting the apology, telling her she could stay with him in the room, and hoping for a second chance all at the same time. Even better yet – they both appeared at least somewhat sober. Their relationship became serious once they showed feelings and expressed caring for each other without the presence of drugs. It felt JUST like old times again. Nick wanted to hold this moment and never release it.

When Anna’s hips bucked into Nick’s, the male suddenly bucked back, pushing her ass back down against the wall as his hips stuck against hers. During the next kiss after she made the remark, Nick could feel his smile growing against the woman’s lips. “Do you, now?” Nick teased before finally releasing Anna’s arms from the wall. However, his body was not idle for long. Instead, his hands reached down and gripped both of her ass cheeks rather firmly before lifting her into the air and carrying her towards the bed. Nick dropped the brunette down onto the mattress and immediately followed. Not pinning her arms down this time, his hands slowly followed the curves on the side of her body down towards her waist. Without even doing it on purpose, his hips began gyrating against her as well.

Being able to be comfortable in silence with someone was a blessing; Alicia was rather fond of the quiet and to be able to simply exist with someone was vital. As much as she loved every moment that her and Bryce spent talking or being occupied, to simply sit there with her head against his shoulder and the sun in the distance was serene. Early on she had kicked off her flip flops and rested her legs on top of Bryce's, her knees over his thighs and her toes against his shins. Absentmindedly, the touch gently swayed over his legs.

"I'm nothing compared to a stunner like yourself," came her reply as she leaned in to kiss his cheek, just in time for him to nab her sandwich from her. Her initial reaction was to frown, though it was playful rather than genuine. Bryce's nickname for her had a point - Alicia was a princess. She could look after herself, yes, and she was becoming better at that with every day that passed, but she absolutely loved the way that Bryce looked after her and spoiled her. It was cheesy, sometimes extremely but that was cute to her and anything with Bryce was worth it. After that, they returned to a peaceful quiet as Alicia finished up her food.

After she had, and she had also taken a drink, she leaned in to kiss him - quick but loving. "I think we got lucky with this place."

----

"Yeah, I do. Whatcha going to do about it?" She had that tongue between her teeth grin of hers and a teasing tone as she spoke. Anna had never been good at the "romance" thing; she wasn't big on the l word, didn't care for fancy dates or romantic gestures (though she never said no to either if those were what made him happy). Her ideal way to spend time with someone was to get high, have sex and cuddle up in front of the television. Her affection came out in touches and smiles and curling up with someone at the end of the day no matter how shitty that day may have been. Actually talking about things was a pain and damn it, Anna was glad that she didn't have to break that habit to have him once again - the way they grabbed at each other said all that needed to be said and as soon as her hands were free Anna was grabbing at his face, eager to pull him in. He pulled her tight to his body and then picked her up and her legs wrapped around his waist until they hit the bed. She fell back and he came with, but not without her grabbing his shirt to yank him down with her.

As soon as he was over her she was kissing him again; deep and needy and exactly what she needed. With one hand in his hair and the other against his chest she stole more kisses from him and when his hips pushed in to hers she couldn't help but to respond equally. She wasn't content with that, though - her knee raised high to press against his hip and push him to the side and the hand on his chest pushed at the same time. The movement wasn't rough but it was a silent order that she wanted to switch spots. As much as Anna loved to let him feel like he was in control, that was something that both of them going, in reality she tended to have the final say in what direction things went - whether that be riding him in to oblivion or getting strapped to a bed. Of course, even when she knew what she wanted she didn't mind a little struggle for dominance; sometimes she'd even give in and let him have the power back.

“I agree. Hopefully we make something permanent out of this place.” So far, luck was void from the group in that regard. They stayed in her neighborhood for a couple weeks before escaping. If they stayed, the bombs would have destroyed them. It was ironic that their next destination was a yacht. After all, Bryce was one of those people, who thought about an apocalypse and said ‘why not just get on a boat and stay on the water? Zombies can’t get to you then’. True – but the infected were not the real problem, either. Humans were worse, sometimes.

Now, they reached Mexico. This estate was self-supportive and the people were kind. Although Bryce was ignorant to their secrets as of now, it seemed like a safe haven. Thus far, despite everything, the young man had not given up hope on finding one of those safe havens. This place looked like the answer with each second that passed. Both parties had finished their food and water, leaving them with two free hands each. Bryce intended to use his hands as a cuddling and touching mechanism all over Alicia’s body. At this point, it was still unclear of what their future held.

Yet, her legs over his lap were quickly pointing him in a certain direction. For now, though, he would keep himself controlled unless she made a strong move first as he kept thinking about moving her feet a bit higher than they were now. “So, I guess this night cuddling on the beach might be different than any night we’ve had on the beach before.” Bryce murmured with happiness in his voice, leaning down for another kiss.

----------------

Holy shit. This was truthfully a miracle. From the teasing tone to that toothy grin – it felt like nothing happened between them. It felt familiar. It felt lovely. Nick never wanted to lose this moment. However, it was impossible to ignore their past, though. Why? Every second that elapsed, Nick kept thinking about something: the need to hold on and grasp the present tightly. What if it all goes away? What if Nick fucked up in translating her feelings? What if she only wanted sex? What if his emotional involvement was not desired? The questions were hurting his brain, honestly. It had taken away pleasure in this moment for far too long. It was easier said than done, but Nick intended to block out the noise in his mind. If that was possible, this moment was perfect. Given, it was much easier to concentrate and focus on Anna when they were kissing and touching. It was almost magical. The way her hands and lips moved on his body put him into a trance. It was unlike anything Nick had ever felt before. It was unlike anything Nick had felt in the past couple years since he left that dreaded day.

Words were nothing right now. Everything was about action. Just as Nick knew Anna in-depth, her words were better spoken through gentle and affectionate touches. It was almost like everything in her actions had an equivalent verbal message. It was tough to explain, but Nick understood it – he always understood Anna. As expected, the second her hands were released, she was touching his face and reaching for his body in every possible manner. This was not a complaint. Nick adored it and often felt himself enamored when Anna would become touchy. It made him a pile of goo against her body. Their hips were both rotating against each other. It was rapidly building to something more when Anna suddenly flipped their roles. Nick gasped out of surprise when he was pushed down onto his back. It was an atypical position. Most of the time, Nick had full control. When Anna was on top, however, expect a wild, magnificent, sexy ride. Letting her have some control had always been something Nick wanted to explore to a certain extent. For example, he wanted this position more often. “I like where this is going. You should have the control right now, Anna. I’m ready for a wild ride…” Winking, Nick gripped both of her breasts and squeezed them rather firmly, waiting for her next move.

Alicia didn't plan on making any explicit moves on Bryce - that had not been her intention when they had come down here. That didn't mean she was completely unaware of the affect her casual touch was having on him. It had started innocent, the thought of arousing him being the last thing on her mind. She had just wanted to be close to him and thought that the leg mixing thing was cute. Alicia didn't miss the subtle hints that she had caught his attention by accident and after that she was, admittedly, purposely trying to tease him. It appeared that Bryce had impeccable self control and that made Alicia wonder how long she could keep her act up - she was, after all, wearing the most innocent expression possible as she looked at him.

Alicia hummed softly as Bryce spoke, watching gentle waves crash in to the shore with a content smile on her lips and her head rested gently on Bryce's shoulder. She, too, hoped that this place would be as good as it seemed. While she stayed cautious, she also remained optimistic. If all went well this could be somewhere that they could spend the rest of their lives and though she was trying to avoid thinking that far ahead just yet, it was hard not to when this was the first real safe haven they had come across since the dead had began to walk around them. Alicia wanted somewhere that she could grow old with Bryce - somewhere safe, but not too comfortable so that they didn't forget what was at risk. Somewhere they could have their wedding (yes, she was still thinking about Bryce's question about marriage) and maybe have a baby or two one day.

"You know, I think this is much better than any other beach visit we've had," she remarked as she leaned more in to him. Her foot was still pushing boundaries, gently stroking over Bryce's shin and up to his knee, and her hand fell loosely in to his lap. "Nothing makes you appreciate the little things more in life than the end of the world... Oh, and maybe getting the love of your life." The last bit was tacked on in a joke, and the fact that Bryce was with her meant much more to her than finding a moment of peace in a world of chaos. Both, of course, were important - but one more so.

"Is that your version of dirty talk? Cause I gotta say, I wasn't asking for permission." She quipped, still with that teasing tone; while she had no interest in tying him up or anything like that she was very capable and very willing to switch things up.While more often than not she was content to do as she was told, that was not an all the time thing: and the key word there was content, not that she preferred it. Anna liked whatever suited that moment best, not any predefined role; if anything she leaned slightly dominant but overall she was very flexible and liked both sides of things. She liked to change things up and she was not afraid to push peoples' limits - push, not cross. Obviously, if someone had a problem she would stop but sex would get boring if she wasn't allowed to do things her way occasionally. Nick could think whatever he liked but if his impression was that she was subby, it was only because she'd done so for him. She didn't mind him thinking that, but that didn't make it true.

While Nick was unable to stop thinking about the what ifs even with her on top of him, that was not a problem that Anna was having. More than likely she would end up having those same thoughts after they were finished, but in that moment all she was able to think about was how completely right it felt to have her hands on his body once again. So, instead of thinking, she simply leaned in to kiss him once more and then sat up over his hips with his hands still on her breasts. In a symmetrical motion her hands slid up on his side from hips to chest and as she gave him a sly smile her hands sunk lower once again to grab at the hem of his shirt. It didn't take much of an effort for her to pull the material off of his body, and once his chest was left bare she started trailing kisses from his neck down.
