Loud, blaring music filled throughout the club. Colorful lights shined on the crowd below. It was almost impossible to distinguish one individual from another, unless they were close on the floor. From the unskilled grinders to the expert dancers on the floor, it was clear that everyone was enjoying the rhythm of the music. Normally, clubs like these would be empty on a Tuesday night. But, the club was two blocks away from a college campus - the University of Harnsey. Students from the University would flood the club as a means of unwinding from a long day of studying, and a midweek break. Among the various peoples was a black-haired male named Leo Reinsworth and his friends.
Leo wore a red plaid shirt with a black tie and a pair of grey sweatpants. An unusual combination, yes, but absolutely necessary for what he wanted to achieve. The young college student had garnered quite the crowd with his breakdancing moves. With his back pressed on the floor, his legs were twisting in the air - almost like windmills. The crowd was cheering out the young man's name. "Leo! Leo! Leo!" As his windmills came to a stop, Leo laid on his side with one leg bent, one hand on his hips, and another on his back. He gave a wink to a group of girls before rising back onto his feet. Almost no one nearby could match his moves, and the dance circle closed as soon as Leo left.
Leo went towards the corner of the club to find some space to recover. He wiped some sweat off his forehead and let out a sigh. Before long, one of his friends, Ralph, was upon him. The brown-haired friend rested his hand on Leo's shoulders. "That was awesome, Leo! You swept the floor - literally! Are your shoes dirty?"
"Only as dirty as the thoughts you had about those girls on the dance floor, Ralph," Leo chuckled. He took a seat at one of those side tables.
"Oh geez, that's bad. You might as well throw your shoes away," Ralph pulled up a chair beside his friend. "So, Tim's having an afterparty at his place. Apparently, the Kappa Delta Delta girls are going to be there. You interested?"
"No. It's a Tuesday. I really should get back home."
"Oh, that's right. Still feeling pressured about taking your family business over?"
"Well, yeah. I feel a bit pressured. But also, my sister's supposed to stop by. I haven't seen her too often since my dad entrusted her in looking over a portion of the company."
And with that, Leo left the club rather early, at 9 PM.
---
The front door creeked open. Leo grabbed a hold of his tie and loosened it. "H-Hot..." He complained as he stepped into the house. Leo was used to being lonely in the house. His parents and his sister would almost never be at home. It almost felt like he barely knew them. They were all working hard at keeping the business afloat. Hell, Leo didn't know jack shit about his own family company. All he could rely on was hoping that he would be well-equipped by the time he graduated. The black-haired male took a shower and slipped into a plain white shirt and black shorts. He retired to his room and flipped on his study light. Four economics books were laid out on his table, along with a notebook filled with scribbles and notes. Leo tilted his head to the side and cracked his neck. "Welp, time to get cracking."
He'd spend some time studying until she arrived here. Besides, she might be impressed to see him putting in the effort to take over the business!
