Reya jumped a little, "Ahhh....m-me?....I...I am fine!" She snapped out of the panic she had developed as Eyrin giggled softly to herself. "I just was thinking of a horrible dream I had.", She said to him as she thought that it really happened.....


~~~~~~~~~Flash Back~~~~~~~~~~


Reya walked into her class room as she noticed the girl in the class as she went and sat down at her desk. The girl came up to her and said she was sorry that she was a bitch and she won't bother her ever again. Reya smirked, "Thanks Tina...now...go off and leave me alone." She boasted in a defiant town to the girl and she nodded. What Reya had wrote was about 11 AM the next morning the girl named 'Tina Rhinehold' would go to the police office that morning. It was to report something stolen but when a police officer was to walk by her she would take the gun and shoot herself with it to show it was a suicide. This would help resolve Reya of any crime or anybody else. It would ease her stress too.


Tina had walked down the street something pulling her toward the police station. Her eyes glazed over as if that was the last thing she needed to do before she would be happy. People stared at her as she entered the precint that was near her. When she entered she bumped into a police officer and while in the commotion she grabbed the gun out of the holster. Even if the police officer reacted she had the gun in her hand, the barrel in her mouth aimed at her throat. "I am sorry...", Tina mouthed as she cried and then shot herself through the throat. It killed her immediatlly and she landed on the ground in the police station in blood. Her tears flowing down her face as the gun lay next to her. Everybody stared at the officer and wondered if he did it to her.


Eyrin had moved to see the kill and she smirked ~good Reya...good thinking. They will now pin it on the officer. Instead of pinning it on anybody else. The police should burn right?~ She thought as she moved back to the host that she was with. When she arrived she looked down at her, "That girl Tina is finally out of your life. Did you like how I worded it? I mean that isn't exactly how I would have said it...but that worked the same way." Eyrin voiced her opinion Reya smiled.


Reya kept her smile, "I thought that was the best place to die in since she did want to 'die' for the police to protect them. She just did and she just protected them." She said as her smile had turned dark for a second but then she snapped out of it. "Well, I shouldn't have to use it anymore...Eyrin...", She completely snapped to her usual self and Eyrin smirked. They continued on with the studies as Eyring floated behind her and Reya took notes for the next upcoming test. If she passed it she would be able to fully work in one of the cases which the one open was the Kira case.

Eyrin smirked at the suspicion that 'Ryuzaki' was displaying. "Yeah Ryuzaki...she just has the morning sickness...or what was it?", She was smarting off as Reya glared at her and she broke out in a loud giggle. ~This girl is too easy to piss off and embarrass I am so glad I came down like Ryu did.~ She thought as she flaoted there watching her intently.
 
"A nightmare? Why would you be thinking about a nightmare right now? When we are doing this?" He was very interested now about what this nightmare was about. And why did the shinigami keep laughing, she knew something that Reya was not telling them. "Reya-san..." He eyed her, not wanting to make her angry, but the shinigami brought up questions now. "Are you pregnant?" He asked. It was the only thing he could think of morning sickness had to deal with, but L didn't know much about that kind of thing.

He ignored the glares and sighs that came from the task force, he did not care that they thought he was to blunt. He did not picture himself as blunt, he just didn't understand how most people reacted about that kind of thing, he wasn't around them much after all.
 

Reya blushed horribly, "I...yeah...well I don't know yet...that horrible dream...I cannot get why I dreamed it would be horrible...well I am not out of school yet..." She stuttered some and then nodded softly. She giggled nervously as Eyrin had just saved her from suspicion on the other thing she WAS thinking about. The thought of killing somebody wasn't as bad as she thought. Maybe Kira was doing it because it needed to prove that it could cleanse the world. Thoug these thoughts were dangerous. However they were finding out somebody was targeting Ryuzaki and she would go out her way to protect him. She would hunt the person down and kill them even if she got the shinigami eyes. She would use them hunt thet assassin down. Lately she had been starting to develop feelings though they were still too immature to really fully express. She would take the notebook back and then wait for the person to contact them or show themselves.


Eyrin bursted out laughing now, Ryuzaki was just too rich to not get that much out of her. "Yeah...well again she doesn't know 'yet'.", She was being sarcastic since it was so hard to really keep a straight face right now. The whole thing was covered up by the simple lie of pregancy. ~These humans are way to fun to play with! Ryu, I know why you come down here just watching them is more entertaining then sitting up there. I wouldn't give this up for the world!~
 
"You... don't know if you are pregnant?" He knew that was possible, but he wasn't aware of her being with anyone when he went through her files. "Are you engaged?" He asked her confused. Apparently if she was pregnant it was an accident. She seemed to act to weird about it. L had to say, he was a little disappointed, but wasn't sure why.

He looked up at the shinigami, she was a rude thing. He found her amusing, but he knew how embarrassed Reya could be by all this. It wasn't exactly what most people ran around talking about in a room full of people.
 

Reya looked at him and blushed a little, "well..I was...just with some one for a bit...not very long and we had some intimicy...and ...I don't know if yeah...but I mean I am still checking..." She said stuttering some more as Eyrin ate it up and laughed a little more as she listened to the human stutter.


Eyrin looked at her and then L, "Ryuzaki...whats the matter? You gave me such a mean face...or maybe you have one all the time. I cannot tell with you...you just have that...face. It might have something hiding but overall it is just a weird face that doesn't show nothing but a brick wall." She explained on how she felt when the man would look at her like a glance and then back at Reya as she stuttered out an answer.
 
"I think it is horrible for you to tease her like that in front of everyone." L replied to the shinigami before turning his attention back to Reya. He wasn't sure how to reply and he really didn't mean for her to have to explain that in front of the rest of the task force. "I'm sorry to hear that. I never had to deal with something like that, but I'm sure it isn't a good feeling." L said as he wondered. He really was sincere about it.

He turned to the other task force members, "That's enough for tonight. It's getting late anyways and I think we've had enough excitement for the night." He said as he looked back over at Reya. He was mainly doing it to save her any more emberassment.
 

Reya nodded as she stood up some and moved toward the windows and looked out onto the city. Her eyes scanned the skylines and the large buildings for possibly a trace of what they were supposed to be trying to catch. Even the thoughts she had recently had crossed her mind. The power to control the flow of life and so on, the idea scared her but she also liked the idea as well. Though she knew that L would take her down and throw her in jail for it. No in prison...that was the suitable place for her if she was to do that.


Eyrin smirked at L, "oh Mr. Ryuzaki...being rude? I doubt it. Reya is a capiable girl I think she can handle some of this here and there. Even if you task force detectives disapporve. Regardless I am just going to float around and taunt you. Humans are easily provoked and they are quite interesting when the thoughts they come up with flow from their minds. We Shinigami don't even compare to some of the horrible things that humans can imagine. We have limits but your race doesn't, it feels like they love what they do. The things they can create and the things they can destroy easily..." She said as she floated off toward Reya due to the fact she wanted to know what was on the murderor's mind.
