Junior League, Habitat for Humanity, City Library Commission and whatever else she could find to occupy her time before Chloe came along. She still did a lot but like any mom she spent most of her time with her daughter and less with her volunteer work. Since Chloe passed on we kind of figured she'd get back into it but there's whole days she doesn't even get out of bed. Oh, and Mr. Vaschon? Well he took a coward's way out. No, he didn't kill himself. The only thing he liked putting in his mouth and squeezing the trigger on was martinis and petite little redheads, like the one she caught him with when she came home early with Chloe because of a cancelled chemo appointment. Instead of sticking it out to the end he up and divorced her. Judge agreed with the rest of us that wasn't no way to treat your wife and dying daughter so he sheared Vaschon for alimony so hard he's still bleating, not that she can hear him from the penthouse though.

He's a very successful romance novel writer famous for adding a little more spice than usual, even if he publishes under a female name, so he comfortably works from home or occasionally the bar of the building, and has no money trouble.
Unknown Background: He normally hides how much he misses his wife, dead in a car accident years ago to not be a downer. He never speaks of his college years and the fooling around in the rowing team.

Known Background: Chelsea Barrett grew up as a trust fund baby to largely absentee parents. She was schooled by a succession of tutors and private academies , as well as traveling the world with various family members but mostly in the care of the nanny and servants. It was not surprising then that she identified more closely with those servants than her own family, she is bored by wealth and it's trappings. In fact she considers the trappings literally a trap.
The fake Cassie Gutierrez is known to be an outspoken dynamic young woman who dresses provocatively at times and despite outbursts, she is known to have a heart of gold . She works at the bar as well as the community garden.

Unknown Background:The real Cassandra Gutierrez was someone who worked in Chelsea's household as a maid and gardening assistant, Cassie's mother Catalina still did. But when Catalina's sister back in Mexico fell ill, Catalina went back to help, the real Cassie wished to go as well to help her mama, but she had to stay in town to do community service for a reckless driving charge, or risk her immigration status.
Chelsea saw an opportunity and is renting Cassie's identity for cash as well as doing Cassie's remaining weekly community service at the Grammercy Community Garden, she had previously been doing it somewhere close to the real Cassie's home.
SO now the real Cassie is out of the country with her mother for a good long while, and Chelsea is finally getting to find out hat it is like living as a normal person, or , at least playing at it.

He operates the local ice cream shop Gramercy Ice Screams which is secretly a front for his drug dealing operations. He is a well known quantity in the plaza, to both those who know his business and those who don’t.

Occupation: CEO and operator of Gramercy Ice Screams/lowkey drug dealer.

Known Background: Bryn and his mother had been living in Gramercy since the beginning. His mother and her father before her ran an ice cream shop within the neighborhood, garnering much revenue from the heavy traffic of downtown patronage, which allowed them to upgrade from a low-income unit during the renewal to a more upscale suite among the top floors. Bryn is usually perceived by other residents of Gramercy as being a good kid with a strong work ethic and a charming smile which he portrays for every customer who enters his store. Humble, polite, and gracious, Bryn appears to be a model citizen with no indicators of being rotten.

Unknown Background: Because of the somewhat privileged upbringing of a business owner’s son, Bryn was quite bored growing up, never applying himself in school and hanging out with the wrong crowds, getting into fights which got him suspended off the school basketball team. He has a thrill for danger and risky ventures, though coupled with a business sense which he puts to ill use. He sees his mother’s ice cream store, which he inherited when his mother passed away when he was twenty-two, as a perfect distribution centre for drug trafficking. Though his ice cream store had a long established market and niche in the downtown area, it can also be frequented by some shady characters from time to time. He does however keep the two businesses separate and possesses his own code of honour in terms of his real work.

Some are off to start their day. Some are going to their family. It passes the time and keeps a smile on her face. Her demons are always there, but she won’t let them back in. Interview after interview she is turned down for jobs. That’s okay. With a smile on her face, she lifts her violin and plays. The past, the pain she’s endured, are memories that she lives with, but she will never let you see them. No one in the Plaza knows her past. Care to learn?

Brief Description: Lucy is as normal as normal can be. To say she's a mommy's and daddy's girl is an understatement. A hard worker, she comes from a good family. She is the only child to her parents. Her choices in life may not have always been the best. While she could have gone to college and gotten a better paying job, it was more important to live and be happy. So with the help of her parents, she moved into the Plaza some time ago. Now she works two jobs to make ends meet.

Known Background: 474. That’s her address. Lucy was born to Elizabeth. Elizabeth was married to David at the time. After she was born, her mother left him. He was abusive, but her mother never allowed that to reach her. She was raised with the help of her aunt Marissa. Lucy was just a toddler when her mom met Oliver. At first, they didn’t get along, but in time that all changed. The two fell in love, and Lucy was raised with more love than most people can imagine. When she told her parents she didn’t want to go to college of course she was met with opposition, but Lucy can be persuasive. Once she set out, she met a biker and spent some time with him. Again her family wasn’t happy about her choices, but they let her live her own life. After their time was over, she ended up at the Plaza. Lucy needed help attaining an apartment, and her parents were more than willing to help her with one catch. She was to say in one of the low rent units. Lucy had been allowed to make her choices, and this was there was of letting her live with her own choices. She agreed, understanding their decision. Lucy took a job right away at The Split Bean, located on the ground floor. Every morning she wakes up early and heads in to flood the building with the smell of fresh coffee and croissants. After her shift ends there, she heads down the street to the local pizza shop, A Little Slice. Sure other jobs would pay more, but Lucy wasn’t about to sacrifice her own principles. She could take off her clothes or worse, but she was going to work hard for what she got. That was a lesson her parents were glad she learned.
