You were normal once.......

It was supposed to be just a normal meteor shower. Nothing but an astronomical quirk.

For whatever reason your characters had joined others on the hilltop just outside of town in anywhere USA. It was turning into a party when the meteor shower started.

And something unlocked in you at once.

Hello. I'll be your illustrious dungeon master for this game. A game, where your character was normal, and then right at the start of game, your character gains superhuman powers. Along with the sudden knowledge of how to use them. (How your character reacts to this sudden knowledge, is up to you.)

Character creation.
Players wanted. 4-6
Ability scores. 5d6b3 six times. https://rolz.org/dr?room=Illvenism
Hit points Max. (Monsters will have max as well)
Character level 11.
Any race, and class is allowed. (But if you pick a race that is not human, your physicality shifts when the meteor shower starts)
Equipment Your room and board is considered paid for, for the near future. Anything that may help you out in an adventure. (Car, guns, computers) needs to be paid for. You have 6500 US dollars to do so. You also have 3 uncommon magic items, and 1 rare magic item, that you start the game knowing where they are. (You decide where they are.) And standard medieval equipment for your class.

As for the smut. I'm a fan of Curvy woman, FxF, FxM, Mind control, BDSM, and woman sneeze. (I just like it when women sneeze) Turns off for me, include the usual, and anal. Note that while I'm not a fan, I don't consider banging preserved undead to be necrophilia. Anything else just ask.

Any takers?

Added in spells... and yes, there is a distinct Ritual lean to the spells selected. The reason for this one is simple. She will have come from an Occult background, though a more academic one then a strictly religious one, so will be going Cloistered Scholar. Still... even with her rites now having actual power... she is more used to ritualistic spells at the moment.

And yes, she can pretty much use the Cleric and Wizard spell list, subject to DM approval, for spells she can research. She does not have any healing spells on hand... though she can call up some lesser demons in a pinch.... and yes, mess around with Suggestion and Dominate effects.

I am interested too.

Alric6427 rolls 5d6H3 = 13 

And either doing a drow-elf female sniper (rogue or ranger), or an Aasimar (DMG) female Druid...
In both cases the case would be that my pre-change character had been playing with that character, and seeing the "shooting stars" there was a wish... or more like a heartfelt plea...

So there was a D&D game on the hill. Interesting.... I think to justify your character not knowing everything, it was either a different edition, or your character was new.

More like there was a fantasy game played, probably not the same edition at all. If others are thinking of bringing the same background, as in getting changed into their character look-alike or some higher edition of it, then I am game to have been partners in the game. But then we would ned our DM/GM to be there too.

Oh, and some of us/all of us could have been males. :)

For my drow female sniper kind of character, the transformed one is a real world sniper, possibly still in the military or anti-terrorist group... Would be interesting to play...

For the druid, before the change the player was a little bit of nature lover and into Greenpeace and other things. Becoming an angel-infused druid would make her more in love with all kinds of nature. Maybe even seriously lustful...

If your character is still in the military, that would massively split you off from the other players. Anti-terrorist group sounds okay, as does Angel infused druid.

I figure regardless if that's the shared background the rest of your character's group is there. They are just civilians though as far as you know.

So, would it be d20 Modern rules, or D&D 5e, but with modern equipment added? (I would prefer the second)
And should they get the "normal fantasy like superpowers", or a more specialised real superheroic kind?

Just because while the ideas would be the same, characters are wastly different...

And while becoming a drow elf female would be a very noticeable change, the other idea is under the hat, so to speak... (I know I should choose real soon...)

Interested as well ^^ going to roll now before I think on what to play

Edit
11,11,11,15,16,17, good enough :)
currently having a look at this btw

D&D 5e, with modern equipment added.

They get normal fantasy like superpowers.

Anything in particular from that set. A short scan reveals no obvious problems.

What do you mean by superpowers , that our regular D&D abilities are considered as superpowers or that we get something else?

So, where to put up our characters? And who should be making it from all the takers / applicants?

And as the DM, which character would you prefer?
A) Real world anti-terrorist sniper transformed into a drow female with all the skills and powers of a Ranger
- Maybe with a Beast as a companion
- or possibly an Underdark stalker/hunter
By the way, what kind of favored enemy would be useful? beasts, fey, humanoids, monstrosities, or undead
And would be there aberrations, celestials, constructs, dragons, elementals, fiends, or giants?
B) Real world anti-terrorist sniper transformed into a drow female with all the skills and powers of a Rogue Assassin?
C) Aasimar druid... By the way, are fey or undead a possible and frequent encounter or even part of the world somehow?

Mythweavers is my slight preference but anything that can store a sheet in a format I can read will work.

Probably C, so that I have greater freedom of enemy use.

Fey and undead did not exist before the meteor shower, but afterwards certainly can.

Ok I think I'll go with a City domain cleric, sort of a nerdy girl who became a technopath after the meteor rain, thinking about the details now.

Haven't thought about it but I'm definitively open to have my character already know others before handed ^^

If you still have room I'd like to throw my hat in as I am thinking probably a bard given what classes are already covered. Actually is there a fighter type yet?
I was Alric1455 as I didn't create an account.
Stats are: 14, 15, 12, 15, 18, 14

Will look at the classes more once I get back. I would be open to my character knowing others before the meteor shower as well.

We have a theurge wizard, high elf bladesinger, most likely a assimar druid, city cleric.

So maybe...

Weaving my Myth, going with the druid... The possible magical items should be used as campaign hooks, or can I have them on the character? While I think the rare Staff of Woodlands should be something I feel/know where to search for, as it is should be usable only by my druid, and even one of a kind item, the uncommon ones can be more at hand.

Item creation - including magical items - work as in the 5e rules?

You start with the magical items. (In my mind they are either in your backpack, or car.)

Goodie... I mean, hell, yeah!
No need to go hiking from the start. Just after getting fed up with the city-people. :)

Going to be finishing up, but shall be a academic coming down from Toronto, Ontario Canada... and not entirely by her choice.

Also, her languages. English, French, Latin, Sumerian and Ancient Egyptian sound good? Or something more standard D&D :p

Lastly, how are we going to be handling spell research?

Oh, what is her reasoning for going?

Those languages are good.

And occasionally you will find a scroll you can scribe, and you may not be the only superpowers around.

And for her to learn and research them from scratch, as she delves into the occult tomes from bookstores and othersuch, hoping that while there shall be a great deal of dross, there may be nuggets of lore inside of them that she can use to her benefit?

And I'm thinking that it would have been a family thing, visiting some in the area, only to come to the hill and be forever changed? Really, I just see her as living at home for university... but that comes with some obligations that can sometimes annoy her. Such as having to leave Canada for the barbaric and violence obsessed south.
