Shapeless Heart [Jeufufns and Sigr]

Emaline's recognition was pleasing Savia, and made her grow bolder and bolder, eager to separate her from Thiya and wanting to have her own body. Listening to Emaline with attention, Savia received advice about her height, how to shape herself and sort out things. They weren't specific instructions of course, since Savia would have to decide for herself, but it was of great help to be reminded of being mindful of the things she had slowly been learning by looking at people. Emaline seemed to deem Savia capable enough as to make her several questions, queue up tasks for her instead of moving by baby steps all the time. "Savia change height, Savia change fit clothes" she nodded, reassuring Emaline, not afraid to mess up on some stuff as she had her there to support and guide her.

Getting fully undressed, Savia readied herself for the change. With her eyes closed, she tried not to think much about what she wanted, but just let herself go and feel what she should be like in that moment of her life. Eager and curious, malleable and needy, inexperienced and young. She didn't have the words for all those things, but the feelings rang true inside her. Soon enough, her shape changed and as ambitious as Savia had become, she had intended to surprise Emaline with a whole shift. Her big green eyes and thin brows remained more or less the same, but Savia now had a small button of a nose above a tinier mouth with lips far less luscious than Thiya's, her chin becoming a bit pointier and small.

A frame smaller than Thiya's started at the shoulders, that still kept a bit of that broad look. Savia's arms were less meaty and a bit more fit, but not by much. Having liked how big breasts felt, almost a reminder of her natural form, Savia didn't just keep Thiya's globes, but also made them fuller and softer, hanging heavily from her smaller chest. A thin and slightly shaped abdomen gave way to her already changed penis, her hips and ass less generous and curvy than Thiya's, ending up being firmer and smaller. Her legs also received a similar treatment to her arms, losing a bit of Thiya's exquisite curves and looking more athletic, fitting of an active young girl. All in all the proportions were kind of similar, with legs still being a good part of her height, but she was smaller than Emaline by about a whole head. The last thing she changed was the tone of her skin, making it look a bit more pale and clear than Thiya's, showing at the end of the process that now they really looked different.

"Ahhh..." Savia sighed tired, as the level of implication on the task had required a lot of focus on her part, although she would soon recover. Checking herself on the mirror, Savia was all smiles, delighted with the result, even if there would be still the possibility of changing and detailing things with time, she definitely was another person than Thiya, she definitely was herself. Wanting to test one of the most prominent features of her body apart from the eyes and hair, Savia fondled up one of her magnificent breasts, testing if she had done them correctly when she shifted their size.

The new Savia was so curious about what Emaline thought that she ended up forgetting about clothes. "Savia. Savia. Me Savia. Change good?" she affirmed herself and asked for the woman's opinion.

Savia had been bold when given enough encouragement before, like when she changed her eye colour, but this was a whole other level. She knew Savia was capable of doing more than baby steps now but a complete transformation did more than catch her off-guard. she had been curious as to what the end result would look like when she helped Savia undress fully.

Taking a step back, she awaited the transformation, hoping for the best as Savia closed her eyes. This could either go horribly right or horribly wrong, but they could always correct things.

It actually made sense for Savia to close her eyes to. While people were used to having them open, opening them would require a lot of precision movement from Savia. This way, she could focus better, and it certainly paid of.

Emaline lifted a hand to her mouth as Savia started to change, her face changing along with the rest of her body. she adopted a slightly more child-like look, but there was no doubt that she could be both serious and sensual if she wanted to be. Her lips grew thinner but no less attractive as her nose shifted into a button nose, her whole form shifting to become something that could in no way be compared to Thiya anymore. Everything became more athletic and compact but still attractive with the exception of her bosom that grew bigger and softer, something that distracted from her otherwise much below average body. But below average certainly didn't mean that it wasn't attractive.

Thiya was fit herself but Savia managed to make it look youthful, she looked like she was no stranger to helping out, but still like she was in the more active and less sexually charged phase of her childhood. Her skin was amazing too. At first she thought she might be too flawless but it just looked gorgeous.

Pride welled up inside of Emaline, pure and uncondensed pride. It was like when Thiya first learned to walk, or more like when she was born. This was a kind of birth after all, a re-birth? Savia was starting a new life, as herself. She still had no understanding of what happened before they met in the woods, but she would be lying if she said her instincts weren't driving her to protect and nurture Savia like a cougar her young.

"Amazing...um, very good, very very good Savia..." she said, a little tear streaming down her cheek. Perhaps she was being a little too much mother right now.

Stepping forward, she gently laid her hands upon Savia's shoulder, inspecting her form from a closer position. She couldn't detect anything wrong with it. By any definition she looked like a real person now. And not just like a perfect copy of one either.

It took a second, but she realised that all this light shining down on them came from the door. Shit...

Gently but firmly, she pulled Savia away from the door, looking just a little worried when she checked to see that noone had been watching them. Perhaps she should have paid more attention, since there were people working outside. Still, she didn't want to disconcert Savia, so she turned back to her, smiling once more. "You did great," she said, moving closer as to gently stroke through her hair. She even managed to get the texture of the hair right, so smooth...

"Now, you should change into some clothes," she said, a little firmer this time. "After that, we can go outside, if you want to that is?" she asked, since she seemed to have enjoyed it outside. And she was herself now after all. Finally wiping that tear of her face, she gave Savia a very gentle hug before moving away, giving her space to work with.

Emaline's touch and compliments made Sava feel warm and fuzzy inside, happy of being herself, even if she tilted her head and curiously looked at the single tear that momentarily crossed her face. "Great..." she said, leaning to Emaline's touch and not giving importance to how she pulled her away from the door, accustomed to follow Emaline to wherever she deemed right she had to be. "Outside, want" Savia nodded. It was wonderful when Emaline hugged her, Savia's considerable breasts squeezed between their bodies, their softness giving in to pressure. Emaline wiped the tear away like it was nothing and she didn't mention it, so Savia chose to not say anything about it either.

"Clothes... clothes..." she mumbled, fidgeting on the spot, deciding. Savia was limited to the few references she had, but having some room to maneuver she could improvise a bit and see what Emaline thought. Wanting to represent everything she had learned and not cheat so to speak, she wanted to reproduce every garment that she should be wearing, not just tuck her penis and balls by shifting them. That way, Savia first created undergarments around her parts, trying to get every detail right to the point of manually tying them as taught, even if she could have just shaped them already tied. Once she made sure everything was on place, Savia sighed, taking a small moment to rest. It wasn't as much as exhaustion, as she was a being made to change, but it was about focusing on different things one at a time.

The next one was the skirt, on the longer side compared to the one that Emaline wore. Savia created it from the waist down, slowly growing while she remembered how the texture felt. When it was done it reached to the middle of her calves, so it made harder for an accidental reveal of her parts to happen, something that she wanted to avoid in case they weren't done as well as she thought. A couple of symmetrical cuts on the skirt on each side went up mid thigh, making it easier to move and showing her fit legs when she stepped around.

Savia started with the blouse, an standard white one that even if a bit loose it still felt taut on the peak of her formidable breasts, making them a sight to behold. Perhaps it was a bout of youthful feeling, maybe an unconscious desire of showing how she was nothing like Thiya anymore, but her blouse's length ended up around her waist, so it wasn't tucked in. That would allow for her navel to show depending how she moved. Finally, she made out some simple shoes, not all different from what the other women around were wearing. "Clothes good? Ready outside?" Savia asked, eager to know more.

Perhaps it wasn't just Emaline remembering the time when the world was still new to her daughter, the time when she raised her to be more than just an extension of herself, for her to be a woman capable of doing the thing she has done, to travel the world like most couldn't. Perhaps Savia's reactions played part in it, her child-like demeanor, her curiosity, her will to learn, her desire to explore what the world had to offer her!

Perhaps it was not something she would have admitted, but it felt nice hugging the girl. Not because she had made herself so...heavy-chested for her frame, but because the girl was trying to return Emaline's affection and it made her feel like she was doing it right, that she was showing the girl what it meant to care for a person.

Not only that, but it felt that they were transitioning from Savia's discovery of herself to the discovery of the world. Much like a normal childhood.

Emaline looked on with pride as Savia formed her own underwear, tying it like she taught her. She was a quick learner, and perhaps she was a good teacher? She hoped so, from the looks of it, she certainly wasn't a bad one.

Savia even made some fashion choices, not that fashion was that big of a thing, but it was enough to make some impact. The longer skirt looked a little too tailored for the cold season, but the blouse made up for it. The blouse was just lovely, showing her slim midsection when she. Usually Savia would be worried that people might think Savia provocative because of it, but the skirt made up for it. Although, the skirt was so long, for-mitting, even with slits at the side, she'd blend right in with the Zadeans. Perhaps once Savia had settled, they should travel to meet other races. Perhaps it was coincidence, but the less the people knew each other the more hostile they seemed to be.

"The clothes are great Savia," she replied with a gentle tone, gently stepping forwards to put a hand on Savia's shoulder.

"Let's go outside, there's a lot to see for you," she said, moving her hand down over Savia's arm, a loving stroke before she passed her, leading her out of the small house.

The sun had moved considerably ever since emaline had found the slime in the forest. Looking up but not directly at the sun, Emaline tried to chart its position, calculating the time they had until nightfall. Not much, but enough for the girl to run around and explore a little. That was what they were here for after all.

The village was built near a river, so naturally one could see from the outside. It was a little further away from Emaline's house, a row behind the two girls threshing the wheat, flowing peacefully. The main road next to it was wider, built for bringing ore to the capital city.

"Savia?" she asked as the girl followed, lowering her voice a little so that they wouldn't be overheard by just anyone. "That, is grass," she explained as she pointed to the grass growing a little around but mostly behind their house. It was tall, largely unkempt apart from the grass right before the house that seemed to have been cut with a sickle, though Savia wouldn't know anything about that instrument.

"And that, is water, what keeps us alive," she explained, pointing to the river. Even if Savia wouldn't know the term alive, she would be able to hear the importance Emaline seemed to put on it, not to mention that there were several pots full of it back in the house. Someone seemed to be bathing in further down from the village which those with better vision would see. She was nude too while doing so. Were there certain circumstances where nudity was allowed? Emaline had avoided the topic since it was way too complicated and not in any way based on logic really, but it seemed intriguing.

Savia was playfully shifting her weight from one feet to another, not exactly testing her shoes but mostly restless and eager to go outside, not to mention amused by how happy she was with the end result of her own breasts under the blouse. "Great!" Savia cheered, to both Emaline's compliment about her clothes and also the will to go outside. As Emaline brushed her arm, Savia reached for her hand and took gentle hold of it, wanting to constantly feel her close and easing the process of guiding her around. Just going around with Emaline was nice enough, seeing the already familiar surroundings and the people that populated them. For Savia it was fascinating seeing how people changed their environment to suit their needs, starting to see how a place spoke not only about itself, but the people that lived there.

"Grass. Green" Savia nodded following Emaline around, smiling as the grass wisps tickled her calves until she slowly got accustomed. "Water. Alive?" Savia was disoriented about that last one, although she could feel it was important by the tone and the context. "River amazing. Savia feel river" she said, gently pulling Emaline by her hand to it. Once by the riverside, Savia let Emaline go and crouched comfortably, the cuts on the skirt allowing for it. She was showing a bit of thigh, but the rest was perfectly covered. Extending her hands she first poked the gentle current with a finger, soon retreating it with a small bright laugh, to get both hands in it. "River great!" she said enthusiastically, cupping with her hands a bit of water and splashing it on her face. "Hahahaha!" she couldn't help but enjoy it, shaking her head to get rid of most of the moisture, although more than a few droplets of water landed in her ample bosom.

"Ah!" Savia let a small yelp go, pointing down the river. "Emaline, no clothes" she indicated, partly as a kid who had caught someone doing something they shouldn't be doing, but mostly feeling curious about it.

Emaline seemed glad to be able to get Savia outside. It was what the girl wanted, and it was good for the girl. But perhaps she underestimated her curiosity a little when Savia started pulling her to the lake, not that she minded. Water was probably one of the most important lessons for the girl. Nonetheless, it was an important lesson to see others change their environment to suit their needs, but it wasn't something that Emaline immediately noticed. It was just natural to her, a habit that she should probably tame around Savia.

She let herself be dragged along, knowing that it would please Savia to be able to explore as much as she wanted. and of course, she went to the river first. Something that was fluid would be more interesting to something that shifts its form. It was similar, only that it couldn't hold its form. There were of course substances that had a consistency between fluid and hard, but apart from glue they were usually rather disgusting. Illness and everything that came with it was something she didn't plan on introducing Savia too for as long as possible.

Seeing her splash water on her face was amusing, some of it landing on her bosom, but the way it pearled off her clothes made her realize that there was still an important lesson to teach.

But Savia seemed to have found something herself, a girl further down the river, bathing in the nude. Nudity was a difficult subject. By default, one should always keep yourself covered, but the thought was more worth than the result. On warm weather like this, it wasn't the end of the world if you accidentally bore something, much like Savia had revealed her thighs when she was crouching down. Bathing was a different story. It was completely acceptable to be naked since clothing would get wet. Perhaps this made what she was about to teach her even more useful.

Gently putting her hand on Savia's elbow for her to lower her arm, she crouched down next to her, gently putting her arm in the water. Lifting it back out, she made sure Savia was looking as the water pearled off, dripping down from her skin.

"The water pearls off, the arm is wet," she explained slowly, allowing Savia some time to assign meaning to these words. Afterwards, she stuck her arm in further up to the blouse, letting it get wet before she pulled her arm back up.

"The water pearls off the arm, but sinks into the blouse. The arm and the blouse are wet, the blouse is soaked," she said, fiddling with the slightly darkened wet material to show what she meant. "We go in without clothes so that they don't get wet," she explained slowly, after giving Savia some time to process the new words. They got sick if they got out with wet clothing, but that wasn't something she wanted to explain in such detail.

With her attention leaving the far naked woman and returning to Emaline, at first she felt a bit disoriented, as it seemed that what she wanted to teach her had nothing to do with said naked woman. "Ah..." Savia observed interested how when Emaline brought out the wet arm, the clothes behaved in a quite interesting way. She was more or less aware of how clothes should work from touching them before, but getting water into the mix certainly complicated things. Savia poked Emaline's wet blouse with a finger, then pinched a part of it, seeing it let some drops go but remaining still soaked.

The change on Savia's clothes was imperceptible at the moment, yet Emaline was already accustomed to Savia closing her eyes briefly when she wanted to change something about her, so she was sure that she had readjusted her clothes. "Clothes changed..." she said, her eyes once more fleetingly looking at the far away woman and then to the river next to them. It was kind of funny how childish and transparent of intent Savia could sometimes be. Savia was aware by then that the wearing or not of clothes was something complicated that depended on unwritten rules she had no understanding of. It was also the matter of why some parts shouldn't be touched, yet another ones could, not to mention the mysterious reason for Thiya's penis to change that way.

"Clothes, no clothes... a lot Savia unknown..." she tried to express her lack of understanding. "Go outside..." Savia looked at the rest of the world that surrounded them, wondering if they were to continue exploring, her pause sounding like she was about to consider a second option. "Savia go in river? Emaline go? Keep alive?" she asked, confused about if she should try going in or even if Emaline had to do so to keep herself alive. It was clear that Savia wanted to try it, but she had been obedient so far, so it seemed to depend of Emaline.

The change was too subtle for Emaline to notice, but she knew that concentrated look on Savia's face. She was glad that Savia understood the lesson, but water had other, more important uses than washing. It was important that Savia understood the significance of water. Honestly, she was surprised that Savia didn't already know. She knew of no species that didn't have to consume water to survive. In fact, she had been praised as wise for teaching that any creature, that eats like them, lives its life in the sun like them, drinks water like them, should be considered alive. It had worked for every kind of creature she knew, whether plant, animal or person. Savia however was still very much alive, but didn't eat like them, drink like them, for all she knew Savia's species may not be a fan of the sun.

"No, Savia, alive," she tried to explain to the girl as she pointed to herself, then to Savia. "Not alive," she continued, pointing at the river and the hard ground around them. "We need to eat water, eating water is drinking water," she carefully explained, turning to the river as she formed her hands to a bowl. Slowly lowering them into the river, she beought them back up to drink the precious liquid, slowly as to not slurp, but quickly enough to get the most of it before it dripped back into the river.

Shaking out her hands to let the rest drop into the river, she later swiped her hands on her skirt to get rid of the rest. "All things alive need water, the grass, the people, the animals," she explained with a certain softness in her voice. A love for all life is one of the most important lessons she sought to teach whoever would listen.

"Emaline alive, Savia alive" Savia nodded, trying to wrap her mind around the word. The notion she knew about, more or less, as it was precisely how horrified she felt about being the cause that those adventurers ceased to be the one that pushed her to not take a life ever again. Alive was then how those people were before meeting her old self. "Water to keep being alive..." she echoed, seeing Emaline drink, nodding as she talked. Her last sentence caused Savia to frown, as what she had learned so far came into conflict. Her attention was now fully focused on Emaline and herself, forgetting her interest to dive into the river to see how it felt or what the naked woman was doing on it.

"Emaline alive. Savia alive" repeated. "People alive, need water" she said, frowning into thought. "Savia unknown need water. Emaline know Savia person..." she tried to get across the cause of her conflict. "Savia no need water no person?" she asked, terribly sad. She didn't blame Emaline, but had she been fooling herself into thinking that she could be like them, she could be a person? If all things alive needed water and persons had to be alive so much that killing them had made Savia feel horrible, it was crucial for a person to be alive for them to be a person. But if Savia didn't need water she wasn't alive, an thus she wasn't a person... Savia felt confused and scared, resorting to lean in to hug Emaline for comfort.

"Savia want alive! Savia is person!" she protested, almost sobbing even if she cried no tears at all. Emaline's touch helped her relax and feel safe, trying to think a solution to her conundrum. Savia remembered something about her past, her time at the cave, the buried lab. Thinking back to her unknown amount of time as a mindless object was hard and terrible, digging into a darkness that seemed to have no end, a conscience that was barely aware of the space and the self, and completely oblivious to the notion of time. Those times and the few days she had been outside that dreaded place before stumbling into Emaline were almost a blur, a blinding and deafening change, but she made the extra effort of remembering. Had Savia ever needed sustenance?

"Ah!" Savia gasped, realizing something and slowly breaking her embrace with Emaline and looking at her face. "Savia... drink water..." she had trouble to express it. Savia had realized that she had been unconsciously absorbing moisture from the air, and even if she couldn't even begin to properly describe the process, she had found that was something akin to what other alive things did. "Ah..." she gestured with her hands around her. "I drink... no mouth" she doubted. "Savia body drink water... sky?" she asked, trying to describe with vague gestures around her how she absorbed moisture from the air. Her eyes opened and illuminated as she had an idea. Reaching for the wet spot in Emaline's blouse, she touched it with the finger once more and soon the darker spot started to shrink until it disappeared and Savia pulled the finger back, revealing a completely dry blouse.

What once was confusion and sorrow, now was happiness and realization. "Savia needs water! Savia is alive! Savia is person!" she practically bounced on the spot, her breasts jiggling within her blouse as she moved. The calm that came from knowing that the notion of being a person was no longer being challenged allowed Savia to be reminded of the naked woman in the river. "Person drink water body?" she asked, glancing in the distance for the naked woman then back at Emaline. She didn't manage to find a relation between how had Emaline cleaned her hands from the ashes a few hours before and the notion of that woman cleaning her body on the river, instead thinking that even if Emaline had used her mouth to drink, perhaps other people drank with their bodies as Savia did. After all, Thiya had a mouth in her navel, so perhaps she could drink that way as well.

Emaline didn't know how much what she said would affect the girl. Of course, she should have figured that it would shake her understanding of the world. The girl hung on her every word as she opened up the doors to a new world for her. Giving her the impression that she wasn't alive was enough to bring her close to breaking down. The frown, the questions, the sadness in her voice, all signs that she desperately needed to rethink her outlook on life as a concept.

Opening her arms for the girl to come closer, she gently wrapped her arms around the girl, pulling her closer so that she may weep or think as she saw fit. Gently lifting a hand to her hair, she began to stroke it, knowing that the girl liked to be held this way. "You are a person, never doubt that," she said, knowing that whatever definitions there were, she would have to break them if need be for Savia to fit in. There was a whole world of different species after all, why shouldn't there be ones like Savia's. she had to have come from somewhere...if only she knew where.

But then, Savia seemed changed, slowly breaking their mutual embrace. Emaline was surprised for her to just suddenly stop but it seemed that Savia had had an epiphany. "You drink?" she asked, softening her voice as she rose to stand in front of the girl. She was just as curious as Savia was excited.

She drinks without a mouth, her body drinks water from the sky...rain? Was it rain?

But Savia intended to illustrate what she meant. She didn't move as Savia reached forward, grasping the wet part of her blouse. And like a wonder, the water was gone and the blouse dried. she looked at it with a more than decent amount of confusion, touching it, noticing that the material had become a little more brittle than the surroundings. Of course, she didn't know that it contained more water than the water that's been soaking it in its default state, so it added to the confusion. Nonetheless, it was clear that Savia did in fact drink. She had never seen anyone drink without a mouth before, but apparently, it was possible.

"Wow...Savia..." she whispered, trying to think of a way to get her message across. "you're alive!" she said, unable to think of anything better as she gave Savia a sudden hug, tighter than the one before. She was just as happy as Savia was that she could make Savia fit in. She quickly let go of Savia as to not startle the girl, looking a little sheepish as she followed Savia's gaze. She swore she would never ever spot the difference between Savia and a real Taracian from a bystanders perspective.

"No, she's cleaning herself," Emaline explained, slowly crouching down. After waving Savia closer, she gently lowered her hand to the dusty ground, rubbing it along it before picking it back up. The hand was covered in a layer of brown dust like she wanted to illustrate. "Dirty," she explained, looking at Savia to judge her reaction before she reached forward, putting the affected hand in the river. "washing for clothes, cleaning for people or things," she explained, this time a little slower due to the many references. Reaching forward with the other hand, she scrubbed off her hand in the river water. Usually, you weren't supposed to do that upstream but they'd do it just this once. "The hand is clean," she explained, lifting the hand to see that the dust has been washed off. Glancing over to the woman, waiting until Savia had followed her lead much like she had Savia's before, she slowly stood up, waiting until Savia had understood the meaning of the words she had spoken. "The woman is cleaning herself," she said, hoping that she would be able to explain the first rule of the village soon. It was important for Savia to know rules as soon as possible, if only so she could explore the village without being bothered over them from people less patient and willing to explain.

Even if her explanations didn't seem good enough to make Emaline understand, the demonstration on her blouse seemed to do the trick, and soon she joined in her joyful celebration. Savia was more than welcome to receive any kind of touch, caress or hug, and that last embrace had been specially tight and loving, even if brief. Soon Emaline focused on once more explaining stuff to Savia, and the girl promptly focused back on her, listening to every word.

"Cleaning" Savia repeated with a nod. When Emaline showed her what dirty meant, she was reminded of the black rock from the house, and got the meaning clear. "Dirty hand" she said, listening to the indications that followed. "Dirty clothes want washing, dirty people want cleaning" she tried to show that she understood, once again noticing that there were different words for similar things. Savia dirtied one finger on the ground, then washed it on the stream, laughing a bit when feeling the running water. "Finger clean" she nodded, but it seemed that Emaline had something in mind, as she seemed a bit distracted.

"Woman clean... herself" Savia nodded. "No washing clothes, cleaning body. Woman no clothes" she added, now knowing that since her clothes weren't dirty she walked into the river without them to avoid needlessly soaking them. "Woman clean different woman? Emaline clean Thiya?" for a moment Savia wondered if one should always clean themselves or could people clean each other. Cleaning one's back sure seemed hard without help, but if people cleaned without clothes and they weren't supposed to be around each other without them... Savia let a small sigh escape, picking more and more mannerisms on the go. Everything was so complicated and she had so much to learn...

Savia stood up from her crouching position, making sure her clothes were proper. It seemed that it was getting a bit darker, but Savia gave it no importance, just eagerly waiting for Emaline to show more things, to teach more stuff to her.

Emaline was glad that Savia seemed to understand, even if she was just a tiny bit disappointed that they already continued. Explaining her things was fun for some reason. Made her feel young again. not that she was that terribly old but the death of her love made it seem that way. She was taken too early, if only she could have been there...

"A woman can clean a different woman but they are usually known to each other," she explained, phrasing it in terms that the girl would understand. The girl didn't know what a family or a community was, and washing only really occurred between friends and family, so it was perhaps a little complicated for her. But she would only need to know so much right now. Besides she would probably wash her and the other way around. It meant Thiya could spend more time with that girl she always ran off to see.

It was getting a little darker, so she thought a small stroll to the fields would be a good idea. They were at the side of the village, so one could already see them from here. They were, in fact, hard to miss. It was the harvesting season, so the fields shone a golden hue, filled with grain that they would store away for the cold season.

"Savia, see the field?" she asked, pointing to the somewhat tall green-yellowish plants. "That is most of what we eat, rice, come" she said, gently waving Savia over as she led her to the fields. They walked past the place where the women had previously been threshing the grain, but it was empty now. The village seemed to quieten down a little, eventhough it wasn't all that dark yet. In summer, the hot season, daylight was long, so during dinner time, it was still somewhat enjoyable outside.

Emaline seemed careful not to destroy anything as she carefully picked up one of the plants, gently ripping it from the ground. "Don't do that," she said to prevent Savia from pulling out any of her own as she turned to the girl, ready to show her what rice was made of.

"This, is the rice plant," she explained, drawing her finger along the shape of the plant. "It grows like this. And it here..." she said, fumbling at one of the pods as she disconnected them before letting the stem drop. "This is the rice, but it's still surrounded by a shell," she continued, using her nails until she had gotten it off. It seemed like a bit of work, but she had freed the few rice corns she got from that plant, gently putting her free hand on Savia's to pull it up. "Feel, this is rice," she explained, hoping Savia would understand. Though perhaps, it would take another harvest for Savia to understand how rice truly grew.

Speaking of rice, she would have to cook something soon. Thiya would probably come back a little late if she judged her intentions correctly, but it would be cruel not to have something warm for her.

"Woman known..." Savia nodded to Emaline's cleaning explanation. "Emaline, Thiya and Savia known each other, clean each other?" she wondered out loud, although she didn't know when it would be appropriate to do so, since she didn't feel specially dirty. In any case, with the presence of the naked woman by the river already cleared up, Savia eagerly followed Emaline to the fields. "Field... green?" she tried to guess the color, but it wasn't exactly like that and the diminishing light didn't make it any clearer. Savia was able to move in complete darkness thanks to her other senses, or she wouldn't have been able to move in that buried lab, but that didn't make her sight that much better. "Field different grass" she added, making clear that she saw a difference in purpose, shape and color.

"Rice plant, rice bowl house?" Savia asked, wondering if it was the same thing that Emaline had in her house. "Rice food, Emaline prefer blueberries" she added with a smile, remembering that she had said that she preferred the little dark fruits to that. Savia followed Emaline to the field, nodding firmly when instructed that she shouldn't rip the plants, and looking at Emaline's explanation with great attention. "Rice grows in rice plant, rice plant grows in field" Savia nodded, "people put rice plant in field?" she asked, wondering where the plant came, since the field was different from the rest of the grass and she had seem people working around.

The idea of the origin of the rice made her wonder. Where did the rest of the things come from? And people? And Savia herself? They were so many questions she yet had, but she wanted to go step by step and focus on the task at hand. "Rice food in rice plant" she nodded, touching it, thinking about the idea. "People eat food, drink water" Savia said, serious. "Savia drink water... Savia no food. Savia eat food, Savia no need food" she tried to explain that even if she could indeed eat food and... probably anything else, she didn't need to do so as long as she had water.

The way the slime was trying to fathom the concept of washing was more accurate than she would have expected, though Savia would have probably included anyone else she knew as well if she knew anyone.

However, Savia also seemed to grasp the difference between Grass and a field, or at least, that they were different. That would make what Emaline explained to her a lot easier to understand.

And indeed, Savia grasped it quickly. Within seconds of Emaline demonstrating the plant and its contents, Savia already attributed the rice to the one in their house. "Very good, it's the same as in the house, and it's food," she repeated, hoping that it might help if she did. And Savia did grasp the concept of farming already, so Emaline would only have to fill in the details.

"We put rice plants in the field. A plant grows out of just one seed," she explained, picking up and lifting one of the rice corns she gathered. "These grow into these," she explained, gesturing to the plants once more. Every time Emaline taught Savia something that had to do with change, it made her think that maybe, the way she changed was just a different version of all of this. After all, plants were not conscious, but if they were, maybe they could choose what to become just as much as Savia could.

Savia continued by pointing out she didn't eat, which Emaline found a little too strange to believe. After all, anything you did came at a cost. The concept of energy was far from being discovered, but even now the people knew that excessive physical activity could make you hungry and tired. That the slime wouldn't eat anything seemed very unlikely, perhaps it was just what she had before they met? Perhaps she had to broaden her horizons a little, but for Savia's sake, she really hoped she did need to eat, just because she didn't want her to think herself outside the criteria of life anymore. But perhaps, the same lesson she used to teach children to protect themselves was what she needed to teach Savia the different forms of life, not thinking of the potentially traumatic consequences teaching fire to her could have. After all, she and fire could almost be sisters if you only considered their objective attributes.

"Everything alive eats Savia, like the two of us did before. The things you consume, they help you grow do they not?" she asked, careful as to not hurt Savia's feelings, but possibly not careful enough.

Savia listened attentively to Emaline's explanation to the workings of the rice field, but once she was done it seemed that she was pensive before continuing, establishing more rules about living things. "Ah..." Savia looked sad. "Rice plant eat? Grass eat?" Savia asked, her curiosity besting her moody self for the time being. Tilting her head around and looking at the plant, she couldn't see any mouths on it, nor even tiny ones. Thinking about how consuming helped her grow made her even sadder, since it was precisely consuming other people what had her grow and change in the first place.

"Savia eat water" she seemed adamant, headstrong. The same mineral nutrients she got from water she could get from other stuff, so eating would help her consume less water from the surroundings, but at the moment she was just troubled by the notion of her need to consume people if she wanted to change. "Savia consume people, Savia change and grow... but Savia consume people no more" she was tearless sobbing once more, "Consumed people no alive, different. Alive different..." Savia didn't exactly know death, but had a notion of it. After all, those people she had eaten that prompted her change weren't there anymore.

Confused and sad, Savia wasn't in the mood to explore anymore. She loved to learn about stuff, but in that moment it seemed that everything she learned just made her feel worse. "Emaline..." she begged. "House. Don't want outside" she said, sounding a bit defeated, weakly taking Emaline's hand and trying to pull her towards the house.

"To be fair, we don't know," she answered, seemingly in thought as she looked over the field in front of them. "The ground is dry and lifeless if left too long with old plants and water, so they do seem to eat and drink, but how is another question entirely," she explained. Other liked to explain these things through the gods of nature, but she had learned that other races had other opinions, and since none of them seemed to be smitten for being infidels, she didn't give them that much importance.

"No, not people Savia," she quickly explained, trying to cut off those thoughts. Every time the girl talked about her memories she lost the inner peace Emaline wanted to give her. "You may consume non-living things, but we cannot eat just anything, some may kill us, killing makes a person dead which means not alive," she hurriedly explai9ned, not wanting to give Savia too much time to dwell on the meaning of death. "Plants are what we eat, they keep us healthy, strong and help us grow."

Defeated, she seemed to have failed in her task, a deflated Savia asking her whether she could go home. She had to give in, so gently, she grasped Savia's hand a little firmer, leading her home. It was getting darker and harder to see anyway.

"This is night," she said, sounding somewhat less enthusiastic about her teaching as she gestured to the darkened sky. It was colder, darker, something that would be frightening for someone who had never seen it before. Of course, Savia had already known the night during the days after she had consumed those people, so it wouldn't have as strong an effect on her anymore.

However, Emaline still had a trick up her sleeve. Once they re-entered the house, Emaline gently let go of Savia's hand as she moved to the fireplace in the middle of the house. "Savia, let me show you something..." she said as she picked up a smaller stick, putting it vertically atop a flattened plank. It required some patience, and Emaline had to ignore Savia's initial confusion if she wanted to get somewhere.

However, sooner than she thought, smoke rose up from the wood and soon after, the first small flames licked at the stick before she quickly putting the plank back into the fireplace, gently picking up some straw from the side to stoke it, letting it grow a little bigger before she added more wood. It was the first live growth process Savia had seen next to Thiya's erection.

"This is fire, it eats, it drinks, it grows, but it cannot think, it is like a plant, it can't prefer one thing over another, it consumes without preference. You can think, you can prefer things, you can decide not to kill people. Do you understand?"

"Dead..." of all words Emaline had used, that was the one that Savia repeated, her past acts dwelling on her now that her strange self and different needs to live and feed had plagued her with inadequacy, her sense of self and belonging wavering. For Savia, who lacked a frame of reference, it was important to feel that Emaline accepted her, so she wasn't feeling completely lost. But since it seemed that she didn't share all the fundamental needs of life with her, Savia's sense of belonging was warped, making her feel alone once more. Emaline's answer about the vegetable life planted the seed of an idea in Savia though, if she did feed more than just water when she absorbed moisture, perhaps there was nothing to worry about. Emaline had helped Savia accept herself, guided through the process of forming her own body, but not she needed to cope with her own oddities and learn that even if she wasn't as Thiya or Emaline, that was also fine.

"No like night..." Savia admitted, closer and closer to Emaline until she was practically moving alongside her while hugging her arm. It dimmed everything pretty and interesting about the world, it felt scary and cold, and above all, it was too close to feeling like she was back at that dreaded place, a mindless slump of all consuming wizardry. Once back into the house, Savia let Emaline go since she wanted to do something, but she kept herself close to the woman, seeking the comfort of her touch. Slowly, even if she was a bit more moody and less enthusiastic than before, Savia looked curious at the process Emaline was following. "Ah!" she yelped once when smoke appeared, twice once the flames started to appear. A warmth different from the one of Emaline's body or her own emanated from that thing, not to mention that it broke the darkness with its light.

"Fire" Savia nodded, but Emaline's explanation was more nuanced that she thought, as it wasn't just a lesson about fire, but about herself. "Fire good" Savia said, "fire differentest night, fire touch..." she added while patting Emaline in the arm, trying to explain that she liked how it lightened the room and felt warm like a touch. "Fire no good, consume..." she also said, seeing that there could be more sides to things that she could learn at the start. "Fire good and no good" she nodded.

Savia hugged Emaline all of a sudden, tight and brief, not only craving her touch but also showing that the woman had reached her once more with her explanation. "Savia understand, Savia different fire" she thought about how to explain how she felt, finding a crude solution. "No good Savia consume without preference, no good Savia grow, change. This is good Savia. Good Savia think and prefer, good Savia no kill people" she patted her sizeable chest while indicating her own good self, that she had left behind her no good one. "Emaline change no good Savia, grow good Savia. Name Savia, change Savia to person" she nodded, back to her energetic self. She had no word to thank her, so she did the only thing it felt similar and patted Emaline's head.

Savia was by all means still young and fearful. The way she practically clung to Emaline as she returned to the house showed that. and whatever she could do to make her feel safe and at home, she would do. So she was more than simply relieved when Savia began to puzzle the different pieces together. "Don't touch fire," she quickly added with some concern in her voice, though she was unable to hide her joy at Savia's loud thoughts.

Emaline nodded, but one could clearly see how proud she was beyond that simple gesture when Savia realized or at least began to realize the difference between her old and new self. It was quite touching in fact to be able to give her a new life like this. Savia was in all the ways that mattered, her second daughter, and perhaps that realization was enough to get her a little emotional.

The hug was nice and Emaline gladly took part in it. While she didn't think of Savia in a sexual way, her large chest reminded her a little bit of her old lover. she had been the ire of all women, with a body a woman could kill for, but everything had to end at some point...And to be fair, she didn't want to think about it, so she was glad that the hug was only brief, yet enjoyable.

She was confused for a second when Savia reached over to pat her head but realized that that was a sign of affection that she showed her that was returned to her again. She did it before too. It was strange how different a sign of affection, the truest emotion could be depending on the relation of the two people.

Now that Savia was in the mood to learn again and for once, Emaline loved the thought of cooking, it seemed like a splendid time to teach Savia the joys of cooking! she may not need to eat, but Emaline and Thiya certainly did. Not that Emaline would force her to cook all the meals from now on, but it certainly wouldn't hurt to watch.

"Now, Savia," she said, gently standing up from where they sat. "After we take the rice from the field, the rice is raw," she explained, bringing the pot of drinking water over from the side of the bed. "Some food cannot be eaten when raw, so it has to be cooked," she explained, fetching the smaller pot of rice next. Lastly, she brought over a pot that looked a lot rounder, made of the same material the mirror was made of. "We cook things in a pot," she explained, gently tapping the pot so that Savia would know what she was referring to.

Next, she very carefully held the pot to the edge of the water pot whilst tilting it, so that some water would flow into the pot, but she seemed to be making sure that there was the right amount inside before she stopped. "To cook, the water must boil. The more water is inside the pot, the longer it takes to boil," she explained, gently grasping a few bronze stilts from the side of the fire. With a lot of care, she gently arranged them so that they would create a stand, before hanging the pot below them. The pot seemed happy where it was, swinging a little before settling.

"Now, we wait," she said, smiling as she saw how attentive Savia was. But something else had been on her mind. Perhaps this was a good time to ask. "Do you sleep?" she asked, forgetting for a second that savia wouldn't know what to do with that term before she realized, gently laying down and closing her eyes to demonstrate. "Sleep?" she asked again, hoping it was a little clearer, though it was probably still a very weird and foreign concept to Savia if she didn't do it herself.

Savia watched a good amount of the cooking process shown while Emaline, nodding all the way but without saying a word. It was utterly baffling to her, and most steps didn't make sense on their own and just as a whole. "Fire no consume pot" she noted, looking with curiosity at the material. "Fire boil water, water cook rice?" Savia asked, making sure she understood the steps it required. "No cook blueberries?" she asked afterwards, her knowledge of food limited to a few items. "No touch fire" she nodded as Emaline arranged the stilts carefully. "Wait" Savia said, sounding almost obedient, extending her arms closer to the fire so it warmed her hands, but still keeping them away from the fire. "I like fire" she quietly added, as it was a wildly interesting thing that had all sorts of rules and weird interactions depending on what touched it.

"Sleep, sleep..." Savia voiced, seemingly taking a liking to how it sounded. Seeing Emaline with the eyes closed lying down, she tilted her head. Emaline was just there, doing nothing, at least for a while. "Hmmmm..." she cutely hummed, a telltale sign of her thinking long and hard. It was true that in her previous life, she had periods of dormancy, but without a good sense of time she didn't know how long nor how often. "No... Yes?" she visibly doubted. "Unknown" she ended up shrugging, a gesture that showed how fast she could pick up mannerisms and incorporate them. "Night eat and sleep?" she wondered, unfamiliar with the daily habits. "Thiya sleep house?" she added, wondering where the other woman she knew was. Pausing for a moment, she thought about the dormancy, how dark and scary and weird it could be.

"Savia no sleep alone, Savia sleep with Emaline" she asked, sounding fretted and once more hanging from Emaline's arm for support.

Emaline was glad that Savia seemed so curious, and there were a lot of things Savia noticed that didn't occur to her. Fire consumed whatever it could, so for it to not consume the pot must be surprising. "Blueberries can be eaten raw, food that looks similar is eaten raw, but some bring death, while others can be food. Don't each just any berry you find," she said, a little absentmindedly which showed in the fact she didn't try to dumb it down too much.

Perhaps it was good that Savia knew the positive and the negative sides of fire, so after her demonstration regarding sleep, she sat up once more, wanting to teach her the difference between wood and metal. But sleep was still a rather new subject to Savia it seemed. The hum, the shrugs, mannerisms she only just noticed. They made Savia look that much more human. Did she get them from her? Or from Thiya? She didn't know. They were all just...normal so she didn't pay attention to them. "Yes, Thiya sleeps here," Emaline answered, trying to be helpful during the times where Savia was processing large amounts of information. But savia didn't sound particularly thrilled at the idea. It was weird, having to explain sleep to someone, but she knew that some races didn't sleep as long as others or had different sleeping rhythms or practices.

"Savia...a person sleeps on a bed because it's warm and comfortable like a hug," she tried to explain, loosely wrapping her arms around Savia to demonstrate before letting go again. "You can sleep where you are warm and comfortable, but the bed is not big enough for both of us."

She didn't really want to recommend her become her own bed, largely because it would be incredibly uncomfortable and partially because Savia wanted to feel like a human. Although technically, she could simply sleep anywhere she liked like a pot since she could return to a gelatinous state.

Savia's green eyes illuminated when Emaline said that sleeping in a bed was warm and comfortable as a hug, something that she had found to like a lot, at least when it came to embracing her. It seemed that there was some trouble though, as Emaline's bed was too small for them both. "Hmmm" Savia once more hummed while thinking. "Savia no like night, no like..." she was missing a word, but perhaps she could ask Emaline for it. "I like Emaline hair colour" she said, since she didn't learn the word 'black' yet, but wanted to make sure that Emaline didn't think Savia didn't like her hair. "I no like night colour" Savia gestured around. "All changes night color, Savia no see, Savia no like" she explained, lacking the words for fear and sadness. "I no want sleep alone" she said, thinking of a way to fix it.

"Savia can change..." she mumbled, although she did want to retain her new form for as long as possible, she was still able to wildly change shapes, even beyond what Emaline could imagine, but since she didn't know yet the disposition of the bed or how did Emaline sleep, she couldn't make plans for it. "Ah!" Savia yelped, a noise alerting her, as the water was starting to boil. Getting closer to the pot in the fire, Savia looked to the water do strange things and a thin vapor mist elevate from it. "Fire change water" she said with admiration, staring eagerly to something that was completely uninteresting for any normal person.

Emaline could see the enthusiasm in Savia's eyes, something nearly made her lose track. It seemed to be more than just a simple copy or creation. Savia was showing signs of being more human she didn't see in actual people that often. She's had this thought before, but that was in regard to her humanity. Even on an emotional level, Savia seemed ahead of what she was trying to become. Ironic really, that there was nothing she could think of that Savia couldn't outmatch any Taracian with, yet she wanted to be one of them.

"I might have something..." Emaline pondered, though she was interrupted when Savia yelped, something that startled her. Nonetheless, when she understood what was going on, she couldn't help but chuckle as a smile graced her face. "Fire changed water. It's boiling. Fire can give warmth, like hugs. but fire can give a greater warmth, heat, so much that water boils," she explained with enthusiasm as Savia seemed particularly interested in the boiling water. Anything that changed was something that interested her and to be fair, the more time she spent with Savia the more she realized that what she did was basically just an easier and more controllable version of what they did, whether it was to cook, craft clothes or even age. Everything changed.

Slowly, she took a bowl, filling it to the brim with rice from the pot, before she picked it up, dumping it into the water. It fizzled slightly, but remained calm with only minor splashes, thanks to the hands of a trained cook.

"In due time, the rice will be cooked," she said, before turning back to the bed. "If you really want to sleep with me..." she murmured, trying to think of something. Jewelry wouldn't work, clothing wouldn't work, she didn't want to irritate Savia by shifting on top of her or something like that. Maybe it was best to ask her.

"Would you prefer to touch me or simply be close?" she asked, knowing that the girl would most likely want to be with her rather than near her in the night, but it was worth a try to avoid awkwardness. "You can be clothing too," she added. The jewellery idea sounded progressively worse, since it would hurt both of them being such a hard object pressed into each other through various forces.

"Heat..." Savia said, looking wide eyed at the process, seeing how steam was rising from the water and small bubbles formed on it. It was a wonderfully complex thing and at the same time, the simplest of tasks at that house, the everyday thing of a pot of boiling water to cook some rice. "Time" she added, putting a word to an universal notion, even if she couldn't yet grasp how it fully worked and what could that mean for the people around her. Savia didn't know, but her unnatural self was impervious to many things, including but not limited to the passage of time. She didn't know how long has she been living since she was made, she would perhaps never know, as the access to her memories before she changed was hazy and painful.

But those questions didn't occupy her mind at the moment, since as soon as Emaline was done carefully introducing the rice into the boiling water, she returned to the sleeping topic and how they could manage to share a bed despite it being too small. Savia didn't understand it yet. Small touches and hugs felt so well, so nice that she couldn't comprehend why the people didn't face the utter blackness that was the night sleep together. She also didn't know exactly what the relationship between Thiya and Emaline was, why they lived in the same house while other people had their own, and even if Emaline explained that Thiya was her daughter, that would only cause more questions about what a daughter was and where did a daughter come from.

When Emaline asked if Savia wanted to be close to her or touch her, she had the answer clear, but hesitated for a moment. Perhaps it had something to do with those body parts that shouldn't be touched? Were there specific rules to touch one another while sleeping that Savia wasn't informed about? There was no way of knowing unless taught or shown, but she was getting better at reading situations and people, and she knew that something was odd, not to mention that Savia preferred to keep that form they had worked on. Sure, now that it was done she could resume it in a matter of seconds, as she never forgot the forms she assumed, but if that was herself as a person, she wanted to be herself when possible, at least the first day.

"Unknown" Savia answered honestly. "Savia want touch. Savia like touch" she tried to explain. "Emaline touch Savia hair, Emaline touch Savia skin... feel good" she said with a wide smile. "People no touch sleep?" she asked. Maybe there were some situational rules, like the ones about cleaning oneself without clothes, so it was better to ask. She wanted to learn the customs, so if touching while sleeping was inappropriate she would want to avoid it even if it sounded tempting and pleasing. "If touch sleep no good, Savia good close" she finished, making clear that if being in contact with another person while asleep wasn't a thing, she would settle with being close.

Emaline smiled a little when Savia described their previous touch. It was perhaps a little odd a topic to have a conversation over, but it was innocent enough for Savia. She would have to get her introduced to things you don't really talk about in public at some point, but that was something for another day. "Usually you do not touch during your sleep," Emaline explained, a little relieved that she wouldn't have to stay calm enough for Savia to fall asleep too. Ever since her love died, her quality of sleep never quite recovered.

Still, it felt wrong for Savia not to have a bed. Of course, she could sleep anywhere, whether in a pot or bowl, but it still didn't feel right. If she didn't get Savia a bed it would probably keep her up all night.

"Wait here," she said as she stood up, briskly walking over to the door. It seemed like she didn't want to waste too much time. However, she nearly bumped into someone else when she took away the wooden barrier, surprised but certainly happy at the sight. "Thiya! Come in!" she said with visible delight, though her daughter seemed a little less enthusiastic about things. Although, perhaps that was the wrong description. She did look ecstatic almost, but it didn't seem directed at her mother.

"Could you watch the rice? Don't let it burn," she said as she quickly hurried out the door.

Thiya seemed confused, mostly because she didn't know where her mother was going nor why she had been trusted with the rice, but there was an even bigger surprise waiting for her.

At first, she looked startled, the fun somewhat draining from her face when she saw Savia's new form. slowly, almost carefully she neared, though not sneaking up on her since she had most likely already been spotted. "You're Savia right?" she asked, looking over Savia's body as she came closer. Mother hadn't been kidding when she said she wanted to make a real person out of Savia. But still, it was hard to imagine the exact copy of her from before turning into that.....cutie.

But for now she didn't intend to repeat the embarrassing little scene from before, but honestly, she didn't think she could. she still felt sore from the things she'd done in her little private time with her favourite woman in the world. Perhaps she could be more daring? She certainly felt as if she were invincible right now, mostly because she'd been asked out...

Sitting down next to the girl, she eyed her up more closely, her eyes remaining a little longer on those slightly larger than normal orbs of hers. Nothing wrong with a good pair of tits, though she couldn't imagine why the slime would have picked being top-heavy of all things. She did enjoy the view though. "You certainly changed..." she said, trying to spark up conversation beyond her previous questions, though perhaps she should have known that it didn't work that way with Savia just yet.

"Ah, no touch" Savia nodded when Emaline explained that indeed people normally didn't touch while sleeping. Her nodding was a slow and obedient one, but also couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed, as Emalines touch was comforting to her. "Ah..." she sighed, when Emaline told her to wait in the house, not knowing where Emaline was going. It was going to be the first time she was alone since Emaline rescued her in the forest, or so she thought as Thiya was coming back home as Emaline headed out. "Thiya!" Savia waved, although Thiya looked a bit off and approached slowly.

"Yes, me Savia" she nodded enthusiastically, trying to gauge Thiya's reaction at seeing her but still unable to completely understand what was going on through the girl's mind or where has she been doing what. It seemed that in general the change seemed to surprise and confuse her, or so Savia garnered. She didn't see a negative reaction though, and Thiya's eyes lingered on her voluptuous chest, so she was interesting at least. "Yes, Savia change. Thiya is Thiya and Savia is Savia. Savia want Savia body" she tried to explain. There was nothing wrong with Thiya's body, but she wanted to be different, unique.

"Savia go outside, touch grass, drink river, see naked person cleaning, go house" Savia offered a clumsy and hasty recollection of her adventures while Thiya was outside. "No like night..." she added in a hushed tone. Savia thought that Thiya's lingering eyes expressed an interest about a part that Emaline said that it couldn't be normally touched, so since she didn't mind she wanted to give her permission. "Thiya can touch" she said, "big breasts feel good, feel known" Savia said cupping those magnificent orbs from below with her hands, trying to explain that they came naturally to her, as something that resulted familiar to her due to the jiggling of her default form.
