"Can i ask you something please. " He looked at her nervously taking a deep breath. " When the war gets to us... Can we please move back away from the front? Not just you and i the entire group. And let armies do the fighting?"
 
Elise looked at him and said "I don't know where we would go...we would have o find a place big enough for all of us and somehow transport everything there..." she said thinking. "It would be a lot of work"
 
"Yes but to get away for where the bombs are dropping and the guns are firing would be worth all the work. " He spoke softly looking back at her taking a deep breath biting his lip.
 
Elise nodded and said "I know...We will have to plan ahead" she said nodding. "We will have to discuss it with the others"
 
"Yes we will that is a great idea. " He smiled looking at her kissing her softly before turning and leading her back slowly trying to continue their walk.
 
He smiled and looked at her a tingle running threw his entire body from her words. "I love you to. " Stopping her only long enough for a brief kiss before they continued their walk.
 
He stopped just inside the door looking at her letting her lead them from that point on. It was not long until dinner and he was not sure how to kill time until then.
 
Stephen smiled and made himself her chair by pulling her into his lap. He laughed and joked snuggling into her as he held her close.
 
She smiled and soon it was time for dinner. They stood when Eliza called them and moved into the dining room. It seemed Eliza had gone all out as a feast lay waiting for them.
 
Eliza smiled and said "It's Annabelle's birthday today, she thought she could get away without telling anyone" she said smiling. Annabelle blushed and said "you didn't have to do this...."
 
"Oh yes, yes she did. "Stephen stood and started urging everyone to sing happy birthday walking over to her putting his hands on her shoulder smiling.
 
Annabelle went a bright red as they sung happy birthday in both french and English before they sat down. Once everyone had finished there main meal, Eliza brought out a big birthday cake. Annabelle looked at her and said "Oh Eliza"

"Hush you, now blow out the candles and make a wish" she said smiling. Annabelle smiled a little and blew out the candles, keeping her wish to her self.
 
Stephen smirked evilly giving Elise a kiss on the cheek before starting to sing for she is a jolly good fellow in french. He patted Adrien on the back winking at him playfully ending the song whispering into his here. "Sorry i could not resist picking on you just a bit. "
 
"Yeah yeah" he said. "Wait till I get my hands on you" he said grinning. Eliza smiled and began to cut everyone a piece of cake.
 
Stephen smiled and snuggled into Elise until he was served cake. Once he had the cake he ate it greedily smiling brightly. "This taste's amazing!" He smiled looking at Elise. "Why did you not warn me about her birthday?"
 
Elise looked at him and said "She dosen't like to be the center of attention, I didn't even know she told Annabelle" she said softly.
 
"Well I will be writing this down so i can throw a big party next year!" He laughed softly as he leaned back just enjoying watching everyone.
 
Elise smiled and began to eat her peice of cake. Soon the wine was brought around, everyone seemed to be having a great time
 
Stephen drank his share laughing loudly chuckling. He smiled brightly and enjoying having fun with everyone the last few days had been amazing.
 
Stephen smiled following her into the room taking off his shirt and pants as he walked to the bed remaining only in his boxers. He smiled and crawled into bed watching Elise get ready for bed smiling.
