He smiled and stood hopping into the bed laying down facing her patting the foot of the bed he patted the bed next to him taking the book laying it out open to the first page in front of him. "Of course i would i hope they like me!"
 
Elise smiled and and on the first page was a picture of her mothers family. She grinned and said "This is my mother before she was married to my father" she said. She pointed at a young women, no older then her age now. The similarity between her and her mother was evident.
 
"Your mother is very beautiful just like her daughter. " He smiled running his hand up and down her back over hers spine.
 
She smiled and turned the page. Her farthers family was here. She pointed at him and said "This is my father...mother said I had his nose...I barley remember him..." she said softly.
 
"I certainly hope he did not share that nose! If he did... your father had a very cute nose!" He laughed softly kissing her cheek smiling his fingers running over her spine and the photos.
 
She smiled at him and turned the page. A picture of her mother and father together. "This is them when they were engaged" she said smiling. She would turn the page and said "And when they were married". She turned the page one more. Her father dressed in his uniform, a little tiny Elise standing beside her mother and father. "That's when he left for the war" she told him.
 
"I am sorry." He said softly kissing her cheek the smile he had left knowing he never came home. He almost felt guilty that his father had.
 
"Its alright" she said softly. She smiled and turned the page. There was a picture of her, annabelle and her mother and another male, much younger then her father. She smiled a little and said "That's annabelle, she was still in school then". She then pointed at the man and said "This was when Dimitri asked me to marry him" she said softly.
 
Stephen memorized the photo taking in the back ground he would do everything he could to not bring that back up if he ever proposed himself. "He was very handsome you have good taste."
 
She smiled at him and gave him a kiss on the cheek and turned the page. "Thankyou" she said smiling. The next photgraph was of her mother, wearing her nurses uniform. "This was taken a little while before the invasion..."
 
He frowned again the though of her losing everything to this terrible war made his heart break. " She looks lovely." He forced a smile still rubbing her back.
 
"That means a lot to me. "He smiled and kissed her cheek turning to face her more. "I... don't have any photos with me. The only one i had was taped to the dash of the plane... I did not get a chance to grab it before i went down. " He frowned looking at her wishing he could introduce them.
 
Elise smiled and said "Really, your going to take me away, Annabelle might have soemthing to say" she said grinning.
 
"I may be able to sneak them out as well. " He smiled kissing her cheek again. "I will have to pull some strings but i want to get you away from this war before something bad happens and i lose you. "
 
Elise smiled at him and said "I see, well thankyou" she said softly. She then looked down a little and said "I want to stay in france till the war is over..."
 
"I would much rather you come home with me the moment the war passes our home. " He looked into her eyes biting his lip lightly. " By the time it is safe for us to come out of hiding the front line will be on the German border. We are less then an hours drive away. " He took a deep breath hoping his plea would not land on stubborn ears.
 
Elise looked at him and said "Everything I have ever known is here, I carn't leave while everyone I love is still in danger" she told him.
 
He took a deep breath sighing softly looking into her eyes. "I will stay until the moment you allow us to leave."
 
He smiled and pressed his lips lightly into her cheek slipping his arms around her lower ribs laying down next to her taking a deep breath.
