The Rokugani Way (me and Anjeru)

She was being as gentle as he was, careful of the wound in his right shoulder, and he was grateful for that. His hands were at her shoulders still, controlling her bouncing somewhat. He still moved at a decent pace, moaning against her skin, kissing back down to her neck. He bit lightly, stifling a louder moan from how deep he was getting in her now.

"Mmmm... I do believe... there isn't too much left to do..." He whispered after kissing up to her ear. "Agasha Yune, will you take me as your husband?" His hips never stopped. In fact, they sped up, thrusting faster, making him moan out the last word against her earlobe. He was careful of the cut at her arm, not wanting her to feel more pain.

Each thrust drew a moan from her even as he controlled the way she bounced on him. Soft shudders made her body tremble as he pressed his lips across the surface of her smooth skin. His soft bite made her walls clench tight around him and then suddenly he was at her ear. She rested her head forward, towards his own, shivering as his breath fell against her ear.

His words, caused her heart to stop, skip a beat, then beat in overdrive. He was asking her to his wife. And then he sped up his hips, pumping into her hot velvet core, causing her to moan louder. He was being careful of her arm that had been wounded in the act of saving his life. That simple, yet complex action had changed everything. And, as she made love with him here, in her own dwelling, with him proposing in such an intimate way - she knew she had done the right thing. Perhaps this was why their duels had always ended in a tie, because the fates had a different plan for them - not to kill each other as they'd been trying to do, but to love and live together. Her lips found his as they came together, kissing him deeply, before she parted enough to whisper - "Yes, Terao, yes I will" - against his lips.

He heard her words, and his heart swelled at her acceptance. It wasn't heard of in the records of a marriage between the Mirumoto and Agasha families. They had worked together for over a thousand years, and yet not a single marriage. Terao was sure, among other things, that this marriage would strengthen the ties between the two families.

He let out a soft moan as he was thrusting in her. He wasn't able to hold himself back now, and his hips thrusted into her, making her bounce some from the new intensity. It wasn't long after until he came, his hot seed filling her up on the inside. He held her to him, sitting on his lap, for a while, before laying her down, laying down over her. He stayed buried in her, linked to her. Not willing to let that end. But it wasn't long before he did slide out, helping her back into her kimono.

"We must rest for tomorrow. I have some things to teach you with the blade. And soon enough, we are being send out into the Shadowlands for a raid with the Crab."

Her hands grasped at him, holding onto him as he increased the intensity of his thrusting into her. Her walls grew more wet and grasped tightly in response, her moans becoming more frequent. He kept pushing her higher and higher; before long she, too, tumbled from the edge and was awash in the pleasure of release. A soft cry and graceful arch of her back as he was bathed in her liquid heat. When they both stilled, she rested against him a moment to regain her breathing rate.

She let him lay her back, his body still buried within her intimately for a few, almost precious, moments. Then, regretably, he slowly pulled from her and helped her right her kimono. She was careful as she pulled the material closed, the deep gash on her arm throbbing a bit from the strenous activity. Her nimble fingers tied her kimono closed and her eyes looked up at him languidly as he spoke.
The life of a samurai wasn't one of luxury and she wasn't surprised to know they would be leaving soon, to do what is was that they did- to fight. She gave a small smile and nodded, tucking her hair back behind an ear as she did so.

:)/ i recently read a important custom that I forgot: you leave your katana at the door of the dwelling if you are a visitor. I'm not sure if it stretches to the owner. You can only bring your wakizashi. I'll remember that later.)

Terao watched her, helping her, being careful of her hurt arm. He helped her get her daisho ready before getting his own kimono and daisho on, being slow to keep in her presence. Soon, he had to turn to the door though. "I will see you in the morning, then." He said in a soft voice, before leaving the dwelling.

The next morning was like any morning he had. He woke up, fit his armor onto himself, then sat in the center of the dwelling for his meditation. It was a hour later that he got up, getting rice to eat quickly, heading outside. He went to the hill that he was training at the day before, waiting for Yune for training.

(Mmmmk.)

Yune watched as he readjusted his own Kimono and stood. She was reluctant for him to go, but she nodded her head softly. "Rest well, Terao," she said softly in response before his picked up his daisho and left the room, before then, soon, her dwelling, returning to his own. She sat for just a bit, holding her throbbing arm some. Perhaps the gash had gone deeper than she had thought. Shrugging it off for now, as she had had more serious wounds than this, she soon went about resting herself.

Morning came and she went about her normal early day routine, though she spent a touch of time checking her wound. It was a little red around the edges, but beginning to heal- she didn't mind it so much, because it was a badge on honor to her. A wound she'd received protecting someone who was rather precious to her now. She then fixed the gash in her kimono sleeve, tied up her hair in a pair of braids as she had worn the day before, and pulled her armor over her kimono. Retreiving her blades, she padded out of her dwelling.

Her arm was still bothering her a little, occassionally throbbing with strenous movement, but she was able to ignore it. She found Terao where she had run into him the day before. "Good morning, Terao," she said as she approached him.

His armor was repaired, and even if she couldn't see it from the armor and how she was facing him, he was in a fresh kimono without the hole in the back. She would need a new one, as well, because ripped, even with armor over it, was easier to grasp with special polearms.

"Now, I have a few techniques to show you. One you have seen me use, the other is rather useful to set up a counter." He pulled out his blades, waiting for her to do the same. "This is the grip trick. When their blade comes at you with a vertical slash or stab, have your blades in the form of a x. Then, making sure you are out of the way, flip your blades so theirs is on the opposite side, and push off." He did a quick demonstration with the air, how the blades should move in the flip, then pushed.

"Now, show it to me." He waited for her to get ready, before his katana came down from above. It wasn't close enough that it would injure her, but it was in close enough that she could practice the technique he showed her.

Yune saw that he was wearing a fresh kimono and reminded herself to do the same eventually, though since they were just training today, she hadn't seen the need just yet. She listened to his words, her flat onyx eyes watching closely as he demonstrated what he wanted her to do. Her hands pulled the blades free and as he came at her, she flipped the daisho into an 'X' form as she had seen, catching his katana before it could come within distance of harming her.

As soon as the blade hit, she made sure she was clear, flipped them as he had shown and quickly pushed off, this all taking place in a matter of a moment. One thing samurai had to be, was quick, able to counter and block at at a seconds notice. She seemed to have that reflex down pretty well, her speed one thing that gave her an advantage in most battles. Her small stature did well in helping this. She cocked her head. "I believe I've got it. What is next?"

He was surprised at how easily she took in his technique, and he smiled inwardly. He pulled his blade back from that, taking a retreating step back. "Good. The other technique is rather simple, but can be difficult to time right. To put it simply, you put your blade forward, and when they strike, you move closer to the ground, and push your blade up, deflecting the blade over you."

He did this easily, his body almost folding parallel to the ground as his blade slid up and towards his face, as if holding off a invisible sword. "This is more useful for us, because we specialize in using two blades, we can attack with our free arm while their weapon is deflected off. Now, show me!" He moved closer, waiting for her to get ready, before he once again did a overhead swing.

Yune watched closely as he explained and demonstrated the next technique, duelly noting how it could be hard to deflect if the timing was not right. Also, how the move, indeed, made it useful for the duel weilding style. Two blades against one always proved to have benefits, though this technique would only make it more so. She crouched a little as he began to ready his attack.

He came at her and she watched, closely, very much so. Her body bending as the attack came down from above, her sword sliding out and flying up to deflect his blow. It was a tad off, but barely; Yune was a very quick study, always managing to pick it up mainly after one demonstration. If not the first, then the second. Almost always.

He seemed pleased that she took to the skills rather easily. "Remember, offense is only good when you have the defense to back it up." He bowed slightly to her before sheathing his blades. "Practice often, but remember to have your mind on the skills you use, not just your body." He moved closer to her, his hand reaching out and moving a piece of hair behind her ear for her. "You did good." He walked past her, going back towards the village. He had to go talk to Mirumoto Hitomi, having been summoned by her for the future mission. That he would be so distant like had just been wasn't unusual, actually being called for in the code. His touch of her hair and lighter tones were rather intimate in the outside sense.

She nodded to his words, almost surprised when he tucked loose strands of raven black behind her ear. His tone was gentle and light, giving her a soft praise. In the code that they lived by, this was an intimate gesture outside the walls. She smiled softly as he pulled himself away, walking past to return to the village. He had other things to do, other priorities that she understood. It was their way of life, nothing out of the ordinary.

She didn't leave from the spot. Instead, she remained for awhile, practicing what he taught her, over and over. Until it was damn near perfect; she didn't want anything less than that. She was a perfectionist of sorts, always overworking herself until she was pleased with her techniques. She wasn't sure how much time passed, but she had to stop for awhile and sheath her blades. She was panting softly, a soft sheen of sweat on her skin. Her arm hurt some and so, for now, she headed back to her home.

When he was entering the castle, Hitomi was putting on some hand of obsidian. That already sent chills of unease through him. Unlike jade, which protected against the shadowlands taint, obsidian seemed to taint everyone that came near it. So he kept a respectful distance, kneeling down. "You have a mission, Hitomi?"

Hitomi flexed her new hand of obsidian gem, then turned to him. "Yes, you and Yume are to go down to the Crab lands, to help out with a strike into the Shadowlands." She was rather short, her temper obvious, since it was the Crab champion that cut off her hand in the first place. Terao was quick to leave, to tell Yume the specifics.

Yune was a little uncomfortable as the gash was throbbing again. She wiped her face with a cool clothe, before she pulled off her armor and redressed herself in a fresh kimono, before pulling it back on. Her practice was done, so she wanted to make sure she was ready in case of anything.

Once that was done, she sat on her knees and pulled the bandage from her stil deep wound, bathing it softly with the cool clothe, the damp material soothing some of the discomfort. After it was cleaned, she began to rebandage it, before pulling the sleeve of her kimono back down to cover it.

He found Yune pretty much where he had left her, and he was quick to move over and help her clean out the gash more. It wouldn't take too long to heal, it just was irritating to her. Once it was wrapped back up, he turned more to her. "We are to go to the Crab lands to help repel the Shadowlands creatures there. As a sign of goodwill from the clan."

He knew two samurai wouldn't help too much, but maybe it was a coordinated strike from multiple clans that were attacking, finally. He hoped so.

He almost surprised her. Almost. She let him help to clean the wound out, before the bandage was replaced and hidden then by her sleeve. Her eyes found his and she frowned slightly. "Just the two us? I know we're both skilled, but to send us alone...even as just reinforcements..." she trailed off, not questioning it. She knew better than to question orders.

She gave a nod. "Are we to leave today then?" she inquired softly, as she worked her arm a little. Now that it was clean, it didn't bother her so much.

The same comment was floating through his head, and at her question, he nodded. "Yes, sometime today, though sooner would be better. It would take a few days to get there on foot, but we will be fine." He smiled as he stood, helping her up onto her feet.

"We can go right now, our wounds should be healed by the time we get to the wall." He slowly walked down the side of the hill, head turned towards her to wait for her to come with him. "The roads are oddly relaxing."

Yune really had a bad feeling about this, but nodded her head and followed him down the hill, a hand almost reflexively resting on the handle of her katana. His words were true, the roads were rather relaxing, though her thoughts still lingered about what they were heading into. It would be unheard of for Hitomi to send them into a slaughter. Why was she worrying so?

"They are," she admitted, walking with him now that they began to head out together. She wondered why they had ever fought. They obviously made better comrades, than rivals.

The path they were taking went mostly around the mountains to start, and when they were near the bottom where they would head towards the woods, Terao saw some men coming down. The first one down was Togashi Mitsu, jumping straight down. He was followed by Togashi Hoshi, which was someone that Terao only knew by name, not by face.

Mitsu turned his head towards the two Samurai. The men that had come down were part of the Ize Zume, the monks that resided deep in the mountains. They didn't wear kimonos, simply pants that showed off their tatooed upper bodies. The tattoos moved like they were alive on the skin, because they were made with the blood of the original Togashi, giving them special powers.

The two Ize Zume walked towards Terao and Yume. "So you are the bushi that Hitomi are sending?"

They walked for a decent amount of time before the Togashi clan members came down and approached them. She found her eyes staring at the tattoo as they were rather hypnotizing. One spoke and at his question, she nodded.

"We are," she acknowledged as she and Terao came to a stop to come face to face with the Togashi warriors. They were not dressed in kimono's, but just pants, unlike her and Terao. "Are you traveling with us?" she asked.

Mitsu nodded, turning towards the forest. "We were going to just use our powers, but if Hitomi is only sending you two, then we will come with you." Terao nodded, and the four of them went down the path. It eventually went into the forest. For a while, things were rather boring. But not even halfway down this road, bandits attacked them.

Mitsu simply ushered everyone back, and it was moments before he stretched slightly, then his head moved forward, a spurt - no, more than - a breath of dragon's flame came out of his mouth, incinerating all of the bandits that were attacking them. Mitsu stood there for a few seconds, getting his energy back, before turning to the other three. "come on, let's go."

She nodded as well and began to follow after them. It was quiet for a good portion of their walk, though after a bit, they were ambushed by a group of bandits. Yune's hand shot to her Katana but stilled as Mitsu gestured them to stand back. Her eyes widened a bit as she witnessed him, well, frying the bandits with his fire. It was impressive.

Her eyebrow cocked up, staring as the man seemed to still for a few moments to regain the energy he had expended. That was certainly something she hadn't seen before, something that was intriguing to say the least. Well, at least they weren't going to be going into this as alone as they thought.

(XD I love the Ize Zume)

Terao was just as stunned as Yume was, though he was able to contain himself completely unlike her. He nodded as Mitsu told them to continue on. It wasn't a long walk before they were out of the forest, the path turning into more of a walked road. What was in front of them was the city of Rensa Murai.

"Shit." Mitsu said under his breath. "We went a little east instead of west. No problem, though. A night's rest, then we'll head out in the morning." The Ize Zume started walking off, but Terao stopped him.

"Were you told of where we were going to help the Crab clan? Hitomi wasn't very specific."

"Haka no Iuchiban." Mitsu said simply, before walking past him, followed by Hoshi. Terao just stood there, slightly in shock from that information.

Yune followed after, mainly keeping her mouth shut and ears open. Letting the men converse when it suited them. They left the wooded area and came out to the road, one that was more walked upon than naught that led into Rensa Murai. She frowned a little when she realized they'd been a little off track, but said nothing as Terao and the Ize Zume spoke back and forth for a moment.

Just as Terao was stunned, so now was she when she heard where it was that they were going. The Tomb of Luchiban. Shit, that couldn't be a good thing. Not at all. It took her a moment to recover her sense as the Ize Zume proceeded onward. Terao was quiet, and she turned her gaze to him, stepping forward a bit.

"Terao? We should head in with the Ize Zume," she murmured to him, her eyes moving back to the other two men as they headed off towards the city.

Terao was roused from his shock by Yume, and he nodded to her. "Yes, let's go." They walked the rest of the way into the village in utter silence.

The village itself wasn't that large, it was simply a village in the Phoenix provinces that was a stop between the areas, south of the Imperial Capital. There were houses scattered around a Inn near where they were, and it looked like the Ize Zume were making a beeline towards it. Probably a smart idea.

There were a few Phoenix Shugenja walking around, though they were heading towards the inn as well. Odds are they were the chosen sent to help the Crab, as well. Terao followed the Monks to the inn, ready to get some sleep.
