Office Romances don't work...do they? (Nightstalker x Candi)

Chris was the first to wake, his eyes looking down at her sleeping peacefully against his body. Fingertips moved like a feather down her spine as he softly kissed across her forehead.

With a groan, she stirred at his kisses and woke with a smile. "Good morning..." she said softly, leaning up to kiss him.

She smiled and kissed him back, glad to hear that he was enjoying himself so much. Part of the reason she'd arranged the vacation in the first place was because he'd overworked himself a bit too much. If only he could find a nice balance. It would just have to be her job to stop him for breaks. "Well, why don't you stay right here? I'm going to order some room service and make a few arrangements for later. It's a surprise," she said with a little grin. She kissed his lips again and rubbed his shoulders. "Okay?"

Chris smiled at her words but a part of him felt pensive as he nodded his head and spoke softly. "I will stay just here and daydream about more of our time together after we are married."

She smiled and kissed him again. "How'd I end up with such a sweetheart?" she asked, running her fingers through his hair. "Any requests for brunch?"

Chris smiled and returned the kiss, reaching up to lightly trace fingers down one of her arms capturing her hand in his before speaking. "Anything you can think of will be great by me."

Claire smiled and kissed his cheek. "All right, love. I'll be back in a few minutes," she said, squeezing his hand. Once she was free, she went out onto their balcony to order food and set up a little adventure for later in the day.

Chris smiled at her words and watched the sway of her hips as she left for the small balcony, moving further back up the bed he relaxed his head against the pillow. Eyes closed as visions of her dressed in all white came to mind along with them dancing and enjoying their wedding day.

The feel of the balmy air against her bare skin made her smile as she called room service and ordered fruit and french toast. She smiled and blew a kiss to him before she made a few more calls to the concierge. When her plans for later were finished, she smiled and came back in and put on his shirt from last night as there came to be a knock on the door. "That is breakfast. Make sure you're decent," she said with a smile, running her hands through her sex tossed red hair. Once she was covered, she opened the door and let in the man with the cart.

Chris smiled, catching the kiss from her before hearing her words when she entered. Covering up his lower body with the sheets he watched the door open and room service enter. His eyes took in the food before catching her eyes as he mouthed the words. "Love you."

She smiled at him and winked before she tipped the attendant. Joining her lover on their bed with the food, she handed him a plate and said, "Mmm, looks delicious."

Chris grinned as the door shut and she joined him on the bed. Taking the plate and a few bites of it he had a small glint in his eyes as he spoke. "Oh yes delicious but you still beat that for taste and always will to me."

Claire chuckled and gladly took her time with the toast. "I'm so glad," she said with a smile. "So we're going on a little trip later. Make sure you eat enough to give you some energy." She winked and ate more delicious fruit and toast. "Mmm, so tasty. Just like my man," she teased.

Chris smiled at her words, albeit pensively he ate his share of toast and fruit. Cheeks slightly heated at her last few words, taking a few sips of his water before speaking. "Claire my love, only sweet for you."

Chris's nose twitched a little from the kiss, his eyes sparkling back into hers as he finished the last piece of his toast. "Don't ever forget it either my love."

She smiled and polished off her last pieces as well. "Mmm, I won't. But we should start getting ready. We're going to be out and about in the sun today. You're going to want to wear something you can swim in and bring a little something warmer for later. And wear the sunscreen," she said, chuckling at herself. "I think you'll enjoy this."
