Office Romances don't work...do they? (Nightstalker x Candi)

Chris smiled and watched her move, taking his own clothes and putting them he picked up the cuffs along with his laptop. Sliding his free hand around her waist he guided them out of her office towards the elevator. "Claire your place or mine?"

Claire picked up her things and easily slid into his arm as he guided them both to the elevator. She smiled and pressed the button, noting that the whole place was deserted. Not even a member of the cleaning staff had stuck around. Pleased with herself, she shrugged, shifting a bit to get a better handle on her present. "I'm up for either tonight," she said with a little smile. She kissed his cheek and waited for the doors to open for them.

Chris had almost everything he needed at her place, taking the elevator down he gently caressed her back. Once at the car park level he guided them across to the car. His lips softly touching hers as he spoke. "Claire your place and I can drive, you can have the rest of the day to relax a little."

"Of course," she said softly. "But you have to rest some too. I won't have you working all day when I just gave you the day off." She kissed his lips softly before she got into the car and buckled up.

Chris smiled and chuckled softly at her words. Driving them home and parking in the driveway he was quick to lock the drivers side and move around to her side. Scooping her up in his arms, he carried her up to the house, unlocking the front door and walked casually and slowly down the hallway. Entering the bedroom he placed her down on the bed, softly kissing her lips. His words hanging in the air as he returned to the car. "Claire my love just relax there. If not I might just punish you."

Claire watched him as he rushed out of the car, barely getting her seat belt off before he came to her. She blushed as he carried her. The redhead felt somehow at a loss as she was put down onto the bed and told to stay put. She pouted a little, but did as he asked. Her lips missed his already. Wondering where he'd gone, she sat up and tilted her head a little to try and catch a glimpse of him. She was met with failure. Sighing, she went back to laying back on the bed.

Chris returned to the car, taking all their office equipment and returning to the house after locking the car securely. Closing and locking the front door he put his laptop down on the table and whistled softly. Smiling he took two bottles of water with him, casually entering the bedroom and crossing to where she lay on the bed. Lightly touching her cheek with one hand he bent down and softly kissed her forehead. "Claire good to see you relaxing too."

She smiled at him and patted the bed next to her. "Mmm, I try. Come join me?" she asked, letting him stay close. "Or did you have something else in mind?" she asked with a little frown.

Chris smiled at her words and softly kissed her lips, removing his shirt and almost throwing it in the corner he removed his trousers and shoes before sliding under the covers with her. "Nowhere else I would rather be than here with you."

Claire smiled and took off her dress and bra, just leaving the little thong he'd given her before she got under the covers as well. "Well, I'm glad to hear that." She slithered her way into his arms and kissed him softly. "Let's take a little nap, shall we?"

Chris smiled as she undressed before moving to snuggle against him, returning the kiss one hand lazily moved to rest just above her buttocks. His words whispered. "An excellent idea Boss."

Claire smiled at him and closed her eyes, snuggling just a little closer to his warm body. A little yawn escaped her as she settled in for some sleep, her lover right beside her. "Sleep well," she said softly.

Chris noticed her eyes close, his fingers lightly moving across the small of her back as his lips touched her cheeks softly. His body loving hers so close, his own words whispered. "Sleep well my love." His own eyes closing soon after as his body relaxed even more into a dream like state.

When Claire woke up, the sun was setting, beautiful blood orange light flooding into her room. She smiled at him and kissed his lips softly, still just as close as she had been when she fell asleep. "I think it's time to wake up, Chris."

Chris barely felt her body move, her lips evoked a soft moan from him as he held her body closer against his. Eyes opened to meet her as he returned the kiss, his words whispered. "Claire no I think its time to relax more. Unless you have something you need to do."

Claire laughed softly and smiled at him as he held her tighter. "Well, I don't have anything in particular to do. But I think we should at least wake up." She smiled at him and kissed him again. "Unless you have more dreaming to do that simply can't wait?"

Chris smiled at her words, his fingers tracing lightly up and down her back and spine as his body moved only slightly on the bed. Eyes sparkling a brighter blue as he spoke. "Yes we can do that, should I do more work from home though is the question or is the Boss happy with current work."

"We need to talk about that," she said, adopting a more serious countenance. She sat up a little and framed his face with her hands. "You are a truly wonderful man, and while I do appreciate your enthusiasm for work, I worry that your gusto is making you work yourself ragged. You've turned at least twelve projects in to me in the past two days. It's not healthy. You need to slow down, take a break. You're the one who needs to relax. And I won't let you take on any more projects until I have your word that you won't push yourself too hard. As your boss, and as your lover."

Chris's eyes met hers, listening intently to her words he sighed softly. Fingers of one hand moving up to tenderly caress one of her cheeks. His eyes losing some lustre as he spoke softly. "Claire I am sorry for doing that. Have 4 unfinished projects on laptop right now but will leave them. Yes I should relax more too."

"Do you promise you'll take less on your plate from now on, unless I tell you otherwise?" she asked, kissing his neck gently. "I love you, Chris. I'm just worried, that's all." She kissed his lips softly and held him. "I'll help you relax, too."

Chris heard her words and felt the softness of the kiss to his neck, evoking soft moans to fill the room. Fingertips dancing down one side of her body to rest on her waist lightly. His words whispered. "Yes I do promise that and love when you help relax me."

"Good. Now, why don't you just lie on your stomach and let me give you a massage? We can take turns," she said with a smile.

Claire smiled and straddled him, sitting on his butt as she slowly ran her hands up and down the sensitive skin of his back. "Tell me if I press too hard." She smiled at him and kissed his neck softly. "Where does it hurt the most?"

Chris felt her body move to straddle his, her hands so soft and already having the desired effect. Her words jolting him back to something as he lifted his head and spoke softly. "Shoulders, neck and lower back for now."
