The Ultimate Blood Sport... (Zodiac and Cerberus)

One looked over the two before shaking his head. he could see the chestburster moving. He then took aim with his plasmacaster on his shoulder, the 3 red dots appearing on the sailor's chest. "No there is no other way. either you do it or I will. We can only stay so long before the detonator starts an automatic count down because it thinks that i've died and cannot press the detonation device so we must hurry, get you friend who can be saved and put those two out and lets be on our way. we really don't have time to just stand about." He let out a little bit of a growl. They didn't have time to argue about things. it was something that needed to be done and it was starting to irritate him.

Frowning, she noticed the three dots forming on one's chest. Neptune. Her heart constricted at the thought of taking their lives, but this is what they would have wanted. Licking her lips, she lightly brushed a hand over his arm and shook her head.

"I'll do it. They're my friends", she tried to sound strong even though it was killing her a bit on the inside. Stepping forward, she kept her back to the predator and raised her hands. "Just, uhm... if I pass out. Don't worry about me. Get my friends to safety, okay? And please keep Sailor Moon safe. She matters most. All of our futures are held within her hands."

Minako, Sailor Venus... not some silly little girl. She would do what needed to be done. Yes, she could be as much of a teenager as any other girl, but she would do what was needed to be done. It didn't matter if she fell. She was willing to sacrifice herself if it meant the others would live. Some might wonder if that touched the Yuatja in a strange way. Watching this slip of a girl shoulder so much responsibility on her own. Instead of giving into her own fear, she stepped up to the plate.

With one quickly uttered phrase, she shot a series of beams in their direction. It was the way a Senshi should go out. In a blaze of light and beauty. That's the only thing Venus could offer them. Swallowing them up in her life until nothing remained. Not the cocoon, not their bodies... nothing. Just a dark mark and something sparkling in the darkness. Once it was over, she leaned back against the warrior, her chest rising and falling, panting softly. Usagi in his arms, Ami on the floor. All that was left was collecting Jupiter and they could leave. She could get there. So, she decided to leave that to the hunter while she knelt down and started slapping Ami's face, gently nudging her away.

"Come on", she murmured in a strained voice. "We gotta get out of here. Can... can you walk?"

Mercury came to slowly and looked up into the tired blue eyes of Venus. "I, I think so. Just... help me up?"

Venus laughed and slipped one of Ami's arms over her shoulders. With her teeth gritted, she hauled the smaller girl up onto her feet.

One just shifted Usagi on his shoulder and went back to where they first saw jupiter and grabbed onto the webbing that held her and with one tug caused it to be ripped off and when Makoto fell he simply caught her and tossed her over his other shoulder and started to walk out of the alien's ship. but a strange growl had caught his attention. "Quickly we must go do not stop running. Im going to detonate. Do not look back. KEEP going!" He then shifted into what seemed like a sprint and pretty quick at that but how something as big as him could run fast was beyond idea. he ran as fast as a wide receiver but was built like a defensive end. He quickly tapped his wrist panel and set the trigger off. Back in the hive area the bomb was starting to tick and count down.

Damn, Venus wasn't even sure she could keep going and Ami was lagging behind a bit. The two of them limping along with their Hunter companion. She seemed to trust him for some reason, but Ami was looking at him as though this were a dream. If only it was... Groaning, she tried to pick up her pace, hauling Mercury with her. They needed to get out of there. Already her disguise was starting to falter. It faded for a moment and Venus' short orange skirt appeared to be long blue one. Her tiara fading, her bows, her bodice and then it came back. Her power was coming to it's end.

"Keep going. We... ah... we coming. Just... keep going!" She tries to run, harder, faster. Sprinting with Mercury practically being carried while they kept going down the ship's hallway. Suddenly, she smell fresh air. They were closing in on the outside. Almost there. Just a few more steps. Just... they were going to make it. Grasping onto that hope, she forced herself to take off. Running faster, harder. She barely noticed that the hunter was keeping up with her or that she managed to catch up with him.

One kept moving quickly as he could see the light from outside and a blinding white light was starting to grow behind him. He was able to get the two he carried to safety before he doubled back and caught up with Ami and Minako. He grabbed them both and almost dragged them out before setting them down beside her friends. He watched as it glowed before it blew and was destroyed in a matter of seconds. He then signaled on his wrist com that the hunt had gone well and signaled for his ship to come and pick him up.

Minako hadn't expected him to return for them and grab her around the waist. Helping her to outrun the blinding light and to safety. Once there, she fell onto her knees, panting and sweating. Her body was spent and her power fading. Looking up at the strange male, she offered a slight smile. Just one of thanks. Closing her eyes, Minako finally allowed the darkness to take her. She did well, didn't she? Usagi was safe, her friends were rescued and the Aliens were taken care of. It should have ended there. It was okay to sink deep into that darkness that only exhaustion could bring.

Falling forward, her uniform started dissipating until she was nothing, but a normal girl laying before him. She couldn't have been older then seventeen and her long blonde hair fell around her face in straight strands. Dressed in a school uniform, she almost looked angelic. This couldn't possibly be the girl that carried a dead friend out and then killed two more to keep them from giving birth to those things.

Ami was the next to fall next to her. Taking Minako's head into her lap before looking up at the creature. It didn't look anything like the Xenomorphs they had been trapped by. Licking her lips, she looked between Mina and him.

"T-thank you... I guess we should all thank you. Just... who are you and what happened?" Frowning, she looked to the others who were resting peacefully. Running her hand over Minako's golden hair, she noticed a bit of darkness seeping from under her shirt. Sailor Venus had been wounded during their little adventure. It was only fitting that Minako carried those wounds into her mortal form. Shivering, Ami could see the blood staining her skirt from the inside out. "We have to get her to a doctor or..."

One watched Minako lay there before he sat down and tapped his shoulder. the medkit slid out and he looked over her wounds before first injecting her then using the band to shut it. since she was out cold she wouldn't feel it as badly as if she had if she was awake which normally when a predator did it they would howl out in pain. He then made quick work of her wounds and then sealed them and put the kit away as he then sealed it and waited for his ship to come. "I am Yautja, I am One." He didn't quite understand what she meant and thus answered how he thought she meant. he had given his Race and his designation for on the ship he was always called one. The young One or the new one. but now he may get another due to a successful hunt.

"One", Ami murmured slowly. Holding Minako in her arms, she watched as the creature seemed to tend to the fallen soldier's wounds. Never had she heard of the Yautja, but this one didn't seem so terrible. In fact, if he hadn't come... things would have gotten so much worse. And Venus. Tears trickled along Ami's pale cheeks as she looked at him with a wide, friendly smile. "Thank you, One. Thank you so much... I... we..."

Minako started to stir a little bit. Every muscle in her body seemed to scream in pain, but she couldn't find the energy to yell out or groan. Instead, she laid there in Ami's arms, watching One and her friend converse for a little while. What was he waiting for? Suddenly, she didn't like the idea of him going away. Not that he was, but the Starlights has looked to the sky in a similar fashion before being spirited away to their own planet. Before he could move away, even with every inch of her body screaming, she reached out to grab ahold of his... loin cloth, armor? She wasn't sure. Venus didn't care. She held on tight, her blue eyes blurry and the darkness lurking around the edge.

"... don't go."

One looked down at Minako and tilted his head as she grabbed onto the cloth. "This. Is not..my world. My home. My hunt" He looked around before what looked like the wall of a building dissapeared and became the opening ramp of a predator ship. One of the leaders walked out flanked by 2 higher elite guards who just looked at one then to the other scouts. It was now that he would be judged for his hunt. He had the mark to prove that he had his kill but also there were these stragglers. these humans. the two elite predators didn't seem to be all that pleased that there were these humans around and that seemed to of been made a mess of things. "You managed to catch the prey ship. kill the prey inside. but you leave this mess. these humans here. what do you have to say for yourself?" One winced abit at the words and kneeled down He knew that the higher could easily say to have them killed and in their weakened state they would be no match for the guards. "They are the trophy of the hunt Sir. they were still alive and I have taken them as trophies." He was saying so that they would spare the girl's lives.

( I'm going to assume they're speaking in that clicking language of their's. *Grins* )

How strange it felt...

Venus didn't want him to leave. They had leaned on each other and worked together to get this far and he was just going to leave? She couldn't even understand why it mattered so much. This wasn't the first time aliens had come to their planet, friends and foes, and then disappeared the next day. Looking up at One, her eyes glittered slightly. So weak. She could barely speak and she didn't want to cry. It wasn't like she needed him to be there. Just... they survived. She wanted to learn at least a little bit about him. And then another ship appeared. Looking at him and the others that suddenly appeared, she felt Ami's hand flex against her shoulder. Fear. Mercury was frightened. Moon and Jupiter were unconscious still. Which was probably a good thing. She could just picture Usagi wailing in fear while Jupiter did every in her power to go after the group.

So feminine, but always willing to protect her friends. It was Venus' turn to do that. Brushing off Mercury's hand, she started to get up with some help and stood on shaky legs. Something told her she needed to be strong. Weakness wasn't an opinion here. Then she suddenly remembered something.

His knife. She pulled it from the waist of her skirt and held it in her palm. Looking between One and the others, she moved to stand beside him. Drop the knife, something told her. And she did so. Letting it fall, but it was obviously his blade she held. Her form a tattered reminder of the battle they put themselves through.

God, she was breathing so hard. Was she about to pass out again? Minako could feel the weakness nipping at her heels. Her form swaying slightly as she stood by One's side and tried to keep the small group of girls behind them.

"We're... we're guardians of this Planet", she tried to speak to One. "Sailor Moon is our princess. I am the leader of her inner guard. Please, don't let anything happen to her. She... she's suppose bring about a golden era for this world. Neo Crystal... ah, Neo... she has to live. Please."

Falling to her knees, she stayed by his side. "Don't let them take our princess... can't, ah, hurt. Make them understand. Translate?"

One just looked out as Minako spoke as he was a little more concerned of what the elder and elites would do. He had completely forgotten that he had given her the knife to her for her to cut away the webbing. one of the guards saw her pull out the knife and quickly jumped infront of the elder and moved his staff to block Minako. several more forms of 3 red beams appeared on the girls and some from behind the other guard had his spear trained on One before motioning for him to stand down. When she dropped the knife the elite quickly hit her with the middle of the spear and knocked her to the ground. Before the other girls could react the netguns were fired at them to keep them from moving.

Well, she screwed up, didn't she? Minako remained by One's side, her eyes wide in surprise when those beams of light rested on her chest. Then she was knocked back. With a hiss of pain, she fell back onto her knees, her arm crossed over her chest while she looked up with that almost helpless gaze. Pain and anger laced through her mind. They worked together! She had already shown herself to be a friend and not a foe to One. Why wasn't he saying something? Gritting her teeth, weak as she was, Minako tried to get to her feet again only to fall back when they pulled out those strange weapons.

This is it, she thought with wide eyes. Staring at the pair of warriors with the guns, she stood there like a deer caught in the headlights of an on-coming car. Death. Neptune. Uranus... Except the weapon didn't fire off a round of ammo like Minako thought it would. No, she was caught up in a net and pinned to the ground.

What was going on?

"Why are you doing this?!", she almost shrieked. "You're betraying me, aren't you? You were planning to invade Earth this whole time."

Her mind was going a million miles an hour. Anger shooting through her, making her stronger. She struggled with the netting. "After I saved you and you saved me... you're just... ah, you're just nega trash!"

One shook his head and went to pull the net off of Ami but as soon as he did he took a plasmacaster shot to the back of his armor that sent him down to the ground. more predators decloaked and looked at the scouts. One of them. Wolf by the way his helmet looked and by the way he stood beside the elder walked over to one and placed his boot on One's back and pressed down. "Really. You make things even worse. You know I guess the only reason they sent a runt like you on this hunt and not a vet like me was they were hoping you wouldn't come back alive." He laughed then watched Minako and aimed his plasmacaster at her. the 3 red dots settling in on her while the other predators moved to collect the girls. the elder Held his staff. "Bring them ALL in." Wolf stopped for a second and looked back then back to Minako. "As you say sir."

What came next didn't make sense. Not even to Minako. She fought and strained at the netting, her fingers bloodied from them as she watched One fall. One moment she was angry and the next, she just wanted to get to him.

"No!", she screamed. Kicking and fighting the netting, she managed to get some sort of foot hold, her fragile human body fighting on pure adrenaline. Freedom didn't come easy or without some sort of cost. Still, she managed to shed the netting with much fighting and flung herself across One, her body covering his in an attempt to keep who ever had their sights on him from shooting him. She had no idea if they meant to kill or not. All she knew was that he had helped her when he didn't half to. He protected her. And he was counted among one of her friends. Clutching to his body tightly, she laid there, her eyes tearing up slightly.

"Don't hurt him", came her wet, ragged whisper.

Ami, on the other hand, acted surprised that One removed the net from her. Gasping, she looked up at the creature before he was blasted off his feet. What to do, what to do. She turned her head away and bit her lip. Attacks were possibly the worse move anyone could do at the moment. They all seemed so high strung. In fact, she was sure they would only make things worse for all of them. So instead of blasting the male that stood in front of them, she just stood there. "Don't hurt them, please, sir."

God, she hoped that they understood her. Biting her lip, Ami quickly lowered herself to the ground and bowed, her hands together in respect of their leader. "Please, sir. We are guardians here. We're warriors too. All of us. We didn't mean to offend. We, we were only protecting our world... and this one, One, he... he helped us. Please, don't be angry. We would be dead now if not for him. And Venus... don't hurt her. She feels responsible for us all. We didn't mean to offend."

Ami wasn't even sure what to say exactly. This was such a tense situation. Lifting her eyes, she peered up at their leader. Or tried to. "Please forgive Venus for being so rash. We honestly don't mean to offend... You understand the need to protect, yes? We've protected Earth. It's our job... our role."

The elder just held his staff then looked to the guard who was still near him then looked over to wolf who was ready to fire a shot now at Minako who covered over One. The elder nodded understanding but still there was problems. He looked over to one to translate for them as he talked to them. Wolf stepped back to let one get up. One looked at Ami and sighed. "He understands but he says that there is still a problem. You have seen us and the hunt though you are noble for your cause we cannot let you to let knowledge of us or the hunt out So you must either come with us. or be eradicated along with all remains of this hunt. The choice is yours." (just like AVP:R They sent a predator to clean up the mess)

It was probably best that One spoke directly to Ami instead of Minako. At the moment, Mina-chan was sitting on the grass and rubbing her arm, groaning and feeling a little whoozy from so much action. It wasn't like her to act without thinking, but then again, she never did have that cool of a temper.

"I understand", Ami started. Searching for the right words, she turned her attentions to their Elder then back to one. "Would it help if I said we have to keep our own identities a secret and aren't about to talk about this? If not... could we arrange something else? We, we have this future that must be maintained. What if one or two of us come and work in service instead and then are returned here? It's just... we can't leave Earth unprotected."

Quickly looking over at the Elder, she tried to smile. "Sailor Moon, the other blonde, has a great destiny here. And it might not be good if we remove her from here. Could you just take two of us and leave the rest? I'm sure that will be enough to keep the rest quiet... and our Earth protected. If you don't trust us... you could always leave one of your's to keep tabs on the rest."

The elder looked at One once he translated before answering back then looking at wolf and motioning for him to come over. One nodded and looked at the scouts. "He says that 2 will come aboard in service to the the hunters and to make sure that you dont speak anything of us. Wolf will be kept here to keep tabs on you. Now those who go will be of their choice and those that stay will stay." One sighed then turned and followed the elder back into the ship. The guard looked at One before shaking his head and walking back in. Wolf looked at the elder almost shocked that he was being forced to stay here and watch over the girls to make sure they wouldn't give the predators or the hunt away.

Hrm. It seemed like Minako had been cast aside by One. Funny how that is. You put your neck on the line for a guy and he just kind of ignores you. Then again. He was just some alien. And they were just fighting. Rolling onto her back, she stared up at the stars, half going in and out of consciousness while Ami mulled over the translated words.

Two of them had to leave willing while the others remained. Her first instinct was to offer herself to them. The elder seemed like an honorable type and well respected. His words must be his law. Looking among other friends, she bit her lip. Usagi, although she was growing stronger, still needed help and what use was she these days? Just a silly bookworm. Shaking her head, she knew who the first once was going to be before she even took a step forward.

"I'll go", came a gruff grown from behind her. Looking back, Ami was surprised to find Makoto suddenly stumble onto two shakey legs. She was one of the strongest next to Uranus, but no one knew of Uranus fate expect for Venus.

"Will I be suitable enough to go as well?" Ami held a hand close to her best, she eyes slightly downcasted. The strongest and weakest when it came to physical worth. Still, she hoped that with Jupiter's brawn and her brains... that they might survive.

Meanwhile, Minako eyed the one called Wolf for a moment. It made sense. She could better protect Usagi by staying behind. And there was Setsunna who could come to at some point. Between her, Chibi-Usa, Setsunna and Hotaru... all of which somehow survived, they could care for Usagi. It wouldn't be long either, right? Just long enough to learn the elder's trust. Still, she didn't like it.

One Looked at Minako then spoke with the elder who only made a nod of his head. He then walked over to the knife and picked it up before going to Minako and taking her hand and setting the blade in her hand. "You have earned it as your first hunt. Keep it as the trophy." He then started to walk back to the Elder and walk inside the ship. The other predators started to cloak and walk back inside of the ship. The guard waited at the ramp of the ship for Ami and Makoto. Wolf grumbled abit then folded his arms over his chest. He felt that he shouldn't be punished and left on the backwater planet. but then One spoke up. "He says its because He can trust you, You yourself a Veteran Hunter should have no problem should you?"

Minako took the knife from him and let it rest against the flat of her belly. Part of her didn't even care to look at One. Something about this just felt so strange and she was feeling somewhat confused by her bitter reaction to his leaving. Flicking her gaze back to the other one that, heh, One spoke to... she got the idea that he was stay behind. Psh. Why get the idea? It was pretty much told to them. Already Usagi was starting to rouse herself, groaning softly and shifting against the grass. Oh no. She knew that Sailor Moon would be the first to scream. Especially after what happened to her. Rolling onto her side, she slipped the blade into the waist of her long skirt and crawled to her friend's side. Once there, she placed a hand over Usagi's mouth just as the girl's eyes popped open and a scream started to echo. Muffling the sound, she held her friend tight, almost struggling with the Sailor Senshi while trying to keep her quiet. Only once Usagi started to quiet down did Venus release her.

"What's going on, Mina-chan?", she whispered quietly. Her bright blue eyes darting from one tall form to the next. They weren't like the others, but that didn't mean anything. "What happened to the others?"

Minako pursed her lips together and brushed her fingers over Usagi's forehead. "Don't worry. They're friends and I'll explain everything to you later. Just... just don't lose it here, okay?"

Smiling, she lightly pinched the princess's nose. To which Usagi lightly batted away and sighed. Sitting up, they held onto each other, watching as Ami and Makoto spoke to each other.

They all seemed to start disappearing within thin air. Minako's heart started to race while she watched One and the others get up to leave. And Ami, Makoto... She wanted to tell them to stay. If they leave, she'll be the only inner senshi left. Mars was gone. Neptune and Uranus. Tears started to fall again, but instead of crying, she rubbed her eyes and sighed.

Ami and Makoto on the other hand looked at each other for a moment. The tallest inner senshi and the shortest. Both of them were nervous, but if it kept Usagi on Earth. Giving each other a quick nod, they turned to follow their captors up the ramp. Jupiter stopped for a moment in front a guard, her dark green gaze raking across his form. After a while, she sighed. "You guys better not try feeding us green goo or something."

Wolf just shook his head and walked over watching them. He noticed one handing her the knife. "Not even fit to use that." He growled at Mina then looked at Usagi and growled before walking to a street lamp and climbing up then cloaking to get a better view of things. Back on the ship the scouts were lead to an open room and hurled in before the door was shut and the predators walked off. One walked over and opened the door holding 2 plates. "we can make your food. our technology can." He set the plates down before walking out of the room and having the door shut behind them. Now would be the task to figure out what to do with the scouts that they had.

Makoto wasn't sure how many days passed or if any had at all. Time seemed to tick by so slowly in a small room with only one door, no windows and the bare minimal when it came to comfort. She wasn't even sure if this was how all the warriors lived or if this was their prisoner cell. Either way, she leaned back against the cool, steel like wall, her head tilted up as she studied the ceiling. For the first few hours, she and Mercury tried holding onto their transformations as long as they could, but as time slipped by and minutes became hours... they found it easier just to let go. It was like easing a tense muscle, relaxing a bit and then the magic was gone. In their civilian forms, they were dressed quite differently. Makoto in a pair of khaki colored slacks and deep green tunic shirt. While Ami was in a long light blue skirt and soft white blouse. Both of them had felt better, but at least they weren't dead and Usagi was safe.

Sighing, Makoto got up from her cot and moved to knock on the door. At first, it was a soft rapping sound, but then it became louder as she pounded her fist against it.

"Hello? Is anyone out there?" Frowning, she leaned into the door and sighed. "Or have you forgotten we're even here? What the point in keeping us in here? It's not like we can run or anything."

Ami, who had curled up to take a nap, started stirring in her sleep. Glancing over her shoulder, Makoto sighed. "Can we at least get something to do in here? Personally, I'm dying of boredom here."

The girls had been placed in observation for some time to see if there was anything. chestburster. a virus, something. But after finding nothing the doors were opened to them One stepped in and looked at them. "Sorry for that but we had to make sure you didn't bring anything along with you, A chest burster, A virus or something. you have both been cleared but there is still the matter of what to do with you. I've been trying to convince the Elders of your worth but they arnt seeing it so its tough going. Now if you'll follow me we'll get you set up to some living quaters and get everything dealt with."

Makoto stepped back away from the door and waited for it to open. At the same time, Ami finally came to and managed to sit up a little more straight. After watching the door slide open, she got to her feet and moved to stand behind her friend. It was almost unspoken between the two. Ami was the softer spoken of the two and had a sharper mind. It was probably better to have her do all the talking while following One out of their confinement.

"It's completely understandable", she started with a smile. Brushing a hand over her chin length blue hair, she glanced back at Makoto. "If you don't mind... what would your Elders find most useful? Perhaps we can help there. I've noticed that you're all well armed and most of those not from Earth are usually warriors themselves. Or looking for a place to call home."

There was a slight pause as Ami searched her thoughts for something to say.

"Hm. If you can tell me what your Elders value most... well, Jupiter and I are soldiers ourselves. I mean, we all have our own strengths. Venus, you met her, she is a strong leader, although, her emotions can get the better of her. Mars, I don't know if you met her, she's spiritually inclined, but also a strong warrior. Jupiter has many talents. Not just for battle, but other things too. Such as, ah..."

Ami gave her friend a slightly pleading look for her to fill in the sentence. "She means cooking. I enjoy cooking."

One thought about it while leading them to their new rooms before shaking his head. "You may have combat experiance but now in our eyes you have none. and you don't seek it the chance is given to you if the elders think the hunt is suitable for you. I may not even get because I went after a xeno ship and wasn't sent after it, yet I don't know." He shrugged and opened the door for them to let them in. "If you need anything just ask for me and I'll see what I can do. Meanwhile I am going to work on getting an audience with the Elders for you so you can tell them yourself about skills and such." One shrugged then turned to head off deeper into the ship.

Wolf on the other hand was still back on Earth and not to pleased about his current situation
