Keep holding on, Minako thought as she watched her friends disappear one by one. Usagi went first and then Ami followed after her. It was just Rei and herself who fought back to back. Smiling a bit, she felt almost like it was old times. Just the two of them against odds like this. What they hadn't expected was that the enemy multipled faster then Ami could calculate. Then... she was alone. It was took a moment, a breath before something wrapped around Rei's waist and jerked her into a pack of those, those... things. And then Minako only knew darkness.

How had this happened? Two days ago started out like any other. Minako had been racing against the clock with Artemis close on her heels, chiding her for sleeping in so late and laughing that even Usagi would be at school before her. Gritting her teeth, she threw herself into the sprint until her lungs burned and her heart felt close to exploding. Only once she skidded in front of her school did she take a moment to breathe. Placing a hand against a brick pillar and gasping for breath, her chest rising and falling while she brought her gaze up.

That's how it started, but not how her day ended. Not long into the school day was there an attack somewhere in their city. She heard about it first over the intercom about staying put and keeping calm. That apparently there had been an attack launched on the city and no one was sure who was responsible. Then her com went off and Makoto started talking about strange things. Monsters that weren't like the type they usually fight. Even their usual foes seemed confused and were quickly dispatched by the Xeno creatures. They came together and killed off the first of many. That evening... they, the senshi, thought it was over.

It wasn't. The next day seemed more strange. Minako didn't even make it to school before noticing something down an alley. Another one of those monsters, but this one wasn't stealing hearts, crystals or energy. Instead it was... killing? Blood splattered a wall while it's fist protruded from a man's chest. Blinking, she quickly turned and almost bumped into one of those things. It's face so close that she could smell it's hot, fetid breath. Then it did something strange. A small set of paws extended from it's mouth, snapping at her in a threatening manner. Why didn't it attack just then? It had taken her off guard. The thing could have killed her on the spot, instead, it had waited until she turned around. Thankfully, she wasn't a helpless damsel. Dropping to the group, she slammed her school case against it's chest and thrust her legs up in a kind of kick. It knock the creature over and she was off. Her hand moving to her transformation pen. Moments later, Sailor Venus burst through a spray of light and joined her friends.

Not once did they get a break. Fighting day and night. Sailor Jupiter was separated from the rest and Venus could only hope that she was alright. Then Usagi was taken and Ami ran after her. Protect the Princess. That had been their orders. Besides, Mars was with her. Wonderful, strong Mars who always stood by her side. Even back in the day when they had all been princesses and guardians of Princess Serenity. She trusted the fiery senshi with her life... and then she was gone.

~*~

Present Day;
Venus felt so strange. Her mind was a fog of memories, all broken up and put back together. The present bleeding into what happened in the past. She remembered a dance from long ago. Masks and costumes. She had caught the Princess with her Prince outside and Venus had been about to say something when a gloved hand fell on her shoulder. Turning back, she remembered feeling steel grey eyes and long white hair. Her heart fluttering. Then she remembered seeing that same face, but something had changed. They were enemies now. Fighting for the same thing.

Tilting her head, she groaned softly. Why couldn't she move her arms? Her side felt like it was burning and she could smell something oily. Plus the near constant hiss of something nearby. Growls and clicks. Cracking her eyes open, she felt the dreams fall away and reality set in. Where was she? Gasping, she felt fire lace across her side from where one of those monsters had wounded her. It was a blow that might have killed a normal woman, but not Venus. Already, she could feel herself heal enough to stop the bleeding... although, it would take time for the flesh to knit back together.

Finally awake, she had no clue where she was. It was dark. And there were frightened voices around her. Shrieks and the sound of, of... she wasn't sure. It was like a cracking and sucking sound. Where was she? Jerking her head to the side and back, she jerked at her hands in an attempt to free herself. If only she could free her hands... or get it up enough to, to... ah, damn. It wasn't working. Tears stung her eyes. She needed to find her friends. They had to still be alive. Somewhere.

The sky was dark when the sensors popped up. One heard the ticking on his com before he got out of his chair to see what it was. He hissed abit and tapped into the computer system to see what it was. A xenomorph ship had been spotted in this system after they had chased it from LV-1202 and LB-425. He just shook his head thinking that it wasn't even real and perhaps a trick the higher command had been playing on him. He went over the reading before realizing that this was no false alarm. He made a few sounds of excitement knowing that if he could catch this break then he may get his chance to hunt with the higher council and have a REAL spot of honor and glory. One quickly set in the controls to bring the ship into the area where the xenomorph ship had crashed. He got into the controls to bring the ship in before he lost control of it and crashed it in.

After a few minutes of trying to bring himself back to senses he wandered into his ships armory to get his gear. the hunting knife, spear and disc. he then also grabbed the net gun before grabbing his mask and putting it onto place. "This could be it" One slowly wandered out of his ship and hit his stealth mode and headed into the Alien ship.

Just where was she, Venus wanted to scream, but she knew better. Not long ago the screams of men and women alike had quieted to whimpers as something passed by them. The first few had been killed. You couldn't mistake that sound for anything other then a skull cracking and grey matter splattering the wall. Shifting her weight, she found that whatever held her was sticky and strong as steel. Her feet hung and her heels barely scraped the floor below. So whatever placed her in here had been strong enough to lift the girl up and plant her there. Just... if only she could free hands.

With a low growl, she turned her head and narrowed her eyes. Something had been placed in front of each captive. It reminded her of a spider's egg, but more gross. Gritting her teeth, she started reaching for her broach, her hand slowly inching up her body. Almost there. If only Venus could get her hands in front of her. A quickly uttered phrase and she would be free. Just... ah. It wasn't working.

"Please be okay, guys...", she whispered. Panting softly, she noticed that it was oddly warm inside here. Where ever here was.

One looked around the ship and started taking note of where he knew the xenomorphs would head to. He looked around the markings of the wlls of the ships and knew that this was a half hive sized ship. "Perhaps I should of called this in." He gripped his staff before heading down the hall and nearly running into one of the xenomorphs. He growled and brought the staff up into its throat before pulling the blade out and pulling back as the xeno dropped to the ground and squirmed before One pulled out his knife and stabbed into its neck for the kill. He was proud of himself for tkaing out a full sized drone. "First true hunt kill."

He was a little inexperienced but had hunted before while he was supervised but now he was on his own. Stopping only for a second once the Xeno was dead he pulled off his helmet and marked it with the xeno's own blood in his tribe's symbol before he marked his forehead with the same symbol.

Something would have almost smiled as she caught sight of a hunter leaning over the body of a fallen sister. Hissing softly, she felt the buzz of others in her mind, directing her, guiding her. They were a very active hive and had been so for days now. Not that it took long to take over a human area. They were pitiful creatures. No better then cattle and the only good use for one was... well, two actually. Food and to give birth to more of her sisters. He was nearing the nursery already and she knew to stop him. With a sudden shriek, she lept onto the young blood's back, her claws clutching his armor while he remained in a kneeling position. It should have been an easy kill and she was being overly arrogant in her attack. Maybe those humans caused her to be lazy because she left a spot open. It would take much to flip her off him and send the xenomorph crashing into one of the metal walls.

That's if he had a mind for it. This one was sure to fight almost mindlessly. Another throw away drone.

Meanwhile, Minako struggled against her bonds, her hands reaching higher and higher, fingers walking their way up her body. Almost there. Sweat dripped across her delicate features, her golden blonde hair matted with blood. She needed to get free. She needed to find her friends. Something suddenly pierced her side and caused the senshi to cry out. Turning her head, she found herself staring at the smooth, dome head of something. With a warning snap of it's jaws, she got the message. Be still and be quiet.

One hissed as he felt another Xeno jump onto his back and claw at his armor. He hissed and grabbed onto its neck to fling it off of his back. "now you creature are going to die." He glared and grabbed his staff and extended it and held it out watching the xenomorph trying to size it up and figure out how the best way to get rid of this target and get his second kill of the hunt. He circled it before rushing and slamming it into the wall and crashing through another wall before landing and pinning it down. "prepare to die." He laughed abit and brought his fist blades out and slammed it into the chest of the xenomorph. Feeling the acid burn away the blade of the claws he hissed. "great there goes my best pair of blades." He watched the Xenomorph and tried to pry its body off from the head as he planted his foot onot the chest and started to pull the xeno's head off.

Keep it away from the nest, the Xenomorph thought. Hissing in anger, she flipped onto all fours, kneeling there and watching him, her head tilting slightly... ropes of sticky drool dripping from it's lipless maw. Then it was suddenly knocked off it's feet, slammed against the wall and wailed in protest as the hunter threw it again.

Minako felt the vibration through the wall and almost screamed as it screeched and bent outward. Or inward. All she knew was that it was happening right next to her. Shuddering, she felt the metal bending from impact and the beast beside her reacted. It screamed loudly and raked it's claws across her side, tearing through the cocoon and accidentally freeing Venus. She fell hard on the floor, her face hovering over the egg planted in front of her. Bleed and weak, she struggled to her feet, her yellow skirt torn, her white bodice stained. Turning, she gritted her teeth and raised her hands. Even if it was the last thing she ever did... damn it, she was taking it with her! With the last of her energy, she shouted: "Crescent V" before a beam of light shot from her fingers, blasting a whole through the beast. It hissed and spitted, acid like blood dripping down... splattering the floor and wall.

With a low groan, she fell onto her knees, panting and feeling the strength quickly seep from her body. She needed to find her friends, but first...

Something burst through the wall and into the room. Looking up at the pair, she wasn't even sure what they were. All she knew was that her hand was rising again, her lips trembling. Just one more attack. Give me energy for one more blast...

With a trembling gasp, she got to her feet, bleeding and hurt, but her blue eyes were fixed on the things in front of her. If she was going to die... she would go down swinging.

One kept pulling on the body until he could feel the flesh and muscle ripping off of the body. He hissed before he drew his knife and went for the neck of the xeno. Once done he looked over at Minako and tilted his head but the 3 red dots quickly moved over her as he aimed his cannon at her should she attempt to do anything or get in his way but then his attention turned to behind her and he quickly fired off a small shot past her. the blazing plasma crackling past her face and erupting against the body of a freshly hatched facehugger. He watched as its body burst into flame before turning his attention back to Minako. He looked at her then looked at all the eggs and the other people in the room. some of the other scouts where there as well.

With a reckless grin, she tried to appear strong even though Minako knew she barely had the strength to stand. Her heels stuttered against the metal floor, her hands in front of her as she watched the strange, beastly creature in front of her. The thing, she had no name for it, was dead at his feet and he towered over her a good couple of feet. Not that she hadn't ever been outclassed by someone in the height department before. Still grinning, her teeth became a white slash across a pale face, her blue eyes becoming blurry around the edges and then she saw it. Crimson red just beyond him. Suddenly, Venus forgot where she was. Next to the red was a forest green. Just the two. Usagi and Ami were no where to be seen and neither were any of the other senshi. Besides, all she could see was the red... the red coupled with raven black hair and features so fine that Minako almost envied them.

"R-Rei...", she whispered. Her eyes became glossy with unshed tears when the body didn't respond. And it was just a body because, because... "Oh god, no."

Forgetting about the hunter, she rushed past him, stumbling a few steps before forcing herself to her stand and run the rest of the way to Sailor Mars' side. She had been cocoon, but where the egg hadn't hatched for her yet... it had for her friend and the face hugger had done it's job. It had already fallen away at her friend's feet. Something red stained the white webbing of the cocoon. Tears. She couldn't see what. All she could think of was that Rei didn't deserve this.

"Rei, wake up!", she wanted to scream, but there was no response. Beating her hand against the wall, Minako suddenly grabbed the side of her prison and pulled, hard. Not strength. Pulling back, she held her finger out while another arm was crossed over it. "Crescent Beam!"

Light in the form of a crescent moon shape shot out of her fingertip and with that single beam, she was able to use it as a laser to slice her friend away from the wall. She didn't know what the hunter was doing behind her, she didn't care. Minako caught Rei's body just as it fell to the floor and held her close. Brushing back the dark hair from her face, she shakily took in the vacant look of the senshi's eyes. What ever had been there was gone now. That fire that had burned so deep inside her second. Venus clutched the young woman's body to her chest, and shrieked in both sorrow and pain. A primal sound of utter loss that was soon fueled with the heat of rage.

Sailor Mars was gone. Her chest a ravaged hole of red meat. The same for Jupiter. Venus didn't even check the room, but she would have found at least one other. Sweet, gentle Hotaru. Saturn.

Rubbing her face, she turned her tear stained face up towards the ceiling, wishing it were the sky, suddenly, Minako stood with Rei in her arms. Looking at the beastly creature, she gave him a stare. Something that almost dared him to stop her. Barely able to support her own weight, she somehow found the strength to carry her friend from that place. It was too dark here. The smell of death too strong. She couldn't leave Mars here. They needed the rays of their native land, or as native as they could get, to spill across them. The moon was barely a silver disk hanging low in the sky as she laid her friend in front of a large window. Taking her hands, she crossed them over her chest, Minako's tears finally starting to drip across her face.

One watched Venus as she greived for her friend. He almost understood and gave her credit. she seemed strong enough to handle a hunt. even strong enough yet to carry her friend to a resting place even though her body seemed to be well beyond beaten and broken. He just stood there watching her before he made the spear smaller and he reattached it to his armor. He knew she had some form of weapons but what it was he didn't know. Slowly he walked up behind her and took her shoulder then looked deeper into the ship motioning that they needed to go and continue the hunt. Perhaps also they would find more of her friends and perhaps some could be saved. One just turned away from her and started to head deeper into the hull of the ship to find more rooms and more prey to hunt.

Rei was gone. Her friend, her second... the one senshi she could always count on in a fight. They had been together since the Silver Millenium and she might even admit to some attraction to the raven haired female. Now, she was gone. Closing her eyes, Minako smiled slightly before leaning over to kiss her forehead. Their first and last.

"I'll make them pay for this", she whispered. "I promise. And then I'll see you again. Next time will be different. It always is, isn't it?"

Smiling, she got to her feet and turned to look at the other creature. She hadn't even noticed that he followed her out. He didn't seem to mean her harm and didn't appear to be with those things. In fact, she vaguely remembered him fighting one and killing it. Looking up into his face or mask, she studied it for a moment before giving a slight nod. Venus had no clue what he was about, but she wasn't going to run away. No, she had things to finish and these monsters were about to get it. Drawing her shoulders back and calling upon the planet Venus to give her strength to avenged her loved ones, she followed him into the ship. Her shoes, probably not the best to fight in, clicked against the metal floor. A hallow sound that echoed down the corridor.

"Obviously, you're not from around here, huh?" Her voice was spoken in a hushed tone. Completely aware that they needed silence, but at the same time, she wanted answer. Following the beast, she kept her head low and her eyes peeled. There was another sound. A soft hiss in the distance. "They came here about two days ago. We thought they were finished, but they came out and we were overwhelmed."

One watched her and looked at her for a second before he stopped and switched his view in his helmet. he heard the tell-tale sound of a xenomorph by its hissing sound it made. He looked around and quickly drew his spear up into a defensive position. He kept hearing the clicking of her heels and figured that her "shoes" had given away their position. He let out what sounded like an annoyed growl and looked around wondering where this xenomorph was. He looked around before finally spotting it climbing the ceiling. He held the spear out and waited for it to come out and fight him.

Minako glared quietly at him. She wasn't sure what that growl meant, but she was certain it wasn't pleasant. Maybe Venus should ditch the shoes. It's just... such a thing had never crossed her mind. When ever she transformed, she always wore the same thing. Pristine white bodice with an orange collar and skirt. All of which were torn and stained in fluids she didn't care to think about. Then she watched him. It had to be a him because there was nothing feminine about that muscular body. Licking her lips, she crouched low and watched as one of those aliens came into view. At first, she remained silent and just watched. He seemed to know what to do. Her form kneeling down, her gloved hand lightly gracing the floor while she watched them. Did that thing even have eyes?

Looking around, she decided to test a theory. There was a little bit of debris here and there. Reaching out, she grabbed what looked like a jagged bit of metal. Giving her companion a look, she lightly touched his ankle for a little attention before nodding at her hand. He might know what he was dealing with, but she didn't. With a grin, she tossed the object down the hallway and watched. Just as thought. It followed the sound with it's head, but not long. The xeno more quickly shifted it's "gaze" to them and shrieked before launching itself at the Yautja.

Damn. And here she thought 'no eyes'. Instead, it had some other system in place. Rolling out of the way, she stood by a wall as the pair came crashing together. Minako doubted she had any energy left for another blast. So instead, she suddenly swung out and kicked the thing with enough force that it's head snapped back.

One held his staff up ready for it to jump into him because Venus had alerted it. but as soon as she kicked it he watched as the Xeno dropped to the floor a broken neck being the cause that had killed it. He watched her get the kill then nodded as he walked over to the xenomorph to make sure that it was dead. once he stepped down on its neck and made sure that it was dead he walked over to her and nodded and looked at her then started to pull off his helmet and pointed to her then to her kill. he was motioning that she made her kill now for proof to mark her for it. He walked over to the Xenomorph and motioned for Venus to come over.

A single kick to the head had killed it? Even Minako had to stare down at the fallen Xenomorph with a look of surprise. Surely that hadn't been all it took. If Venus had any idea of who she was with, she would have lorded it over him that it took weapons and skill for him to make a kill, but for her... it took a single kick. Instead, she merely blinked up at him in confusion. It must have been a weak alien. Not even worth breathing. Which may explain why it was put on hall monitoring.

While watching the male before her, she noticed he was removing his mask for what seemed like the first time. What she saw... it stole her breath away. Venus took a step back and watched him with those wide blue eyes. He was absolutely... oh god. No, she wasn't about to start drooling or call him handsome. Just... he was definitely not from this world. Yet, he seemed to be helping her. Noticing that he was motioning between the fallen form and then himself, she wasn't quite sure what he wanted. With a small sigh, she started forward, taking a few steps to close the distance between them. Jeeze. He was so much taller then her too. Something about that and his muscular body caused a tingle of awareness to rush through her. It was so primal, so basic. Living and dying. Fighting to live. Dying to fight. Staring up at him, she suddenly saw him not as some scary crab face monster, but a companion worth having at your back.

"Can you even talk or understand me?", she asked almost dully.

One just looked at her and made the clicking growling sound all predators did before he really had to focus on trying to speak befure what sounded like a growl and spoken words. "Y..yess, I cans understand and speak." He looked over at the Xeno and grabbed its finger and ripped it off before motiong her to come over. "Mark...Your first...Kill." He then got up and looked around keeping his spear by his side and at the ready. without his mask he saw in the thermal so he grabbed his mask and put it back on allowing him to see in the normal color. once he had hooked his helmet back in he then motioned for her to speak so that the com device in his suit could pick up her English and translate his speaking when he did.

Well, it was japanese really, but those were just details. Frowning at his strange language, she heard the clicks and growls. Something about it made her feel all the more relaxed in his presence. That probably wasn't a good thing. Looking at the Xeno and then at the Hunter, she sneered slightly and kicked the thing with the toe of her shoe.

"They...", a frown touched her lips. Turning her gaze back on him, she met his eyes. At least for a moment. "They killed my one of my friends. They've taken the rest to god knows where... I'll make them pay."

Funny, she didn't even bothered with that whole 'in the name of Venus' stuff. Before him wasn't the senshi of Love, but one who only wanted the blood of those that hurt her so deeply. Nodding slightly, the reached up and pulled the collar of her bodice down a bit. Offering the top of one breast for him to mark if that was his intention. It would be as easy to flash as his, but at least, she could cover it. And Minako, even a really angry and somewhat broken one, couldn't stand the idea of scarring her face.

"You know what these things are, don't you?" It was more of a statement then an actual question. "I've fought before, but never like this."

One looked at her then nodded. "You must mark yourself. it was YOUR kill." He then looked down the hallway of the ship before his sight caught another nursery. "we must get going they may be holding others in there." He then got up and headed into another wing of the nursery before looking over at the people that were in several stages. some were waiting to have the facehugger emerge and wrap, others had it on their face and others were either busted through or had already had the chestburster break through and kill them all ready. he just should his head and looked at the eggs all around. "Great, going to have to detonate." He then stood and waited for venus to come in. "You should come in here and see this and see if your friends are here."

Minako watched him for a moment. She couldn't believe he actually wanted her to mark herself and for what? Looking at the fingers, she shrugged and pulled her suit back into place. Walking with him, she moved to the next room and gasped. It was huge! Much larger then the one they placed her in and... and...

Blinking back tears, she saw a familiar form hanging near the center of the room. Long blonde hair, like her own, dangling in a pair of pig-tails. Usagi? She took a step forward, but came up short. Looking at the young blood, she blinked.

"Detonate what? You got a bomb on you?!" Her shriek was loud enough to bring the attention of something else. Not exactly a Xeno, but one of those face huggers that had yet to find a host. Turning, she suddenly gasped and held her hands out, catching it, and holding it... nearly falling back against the hunter's side at the thing's tail lashed this way and that. It fought to wrap around her throat while she struggled it keep it away. "Get it off, get it off, get it off."

Usagi was there, but passed out. Or so it seemed. As pretty as a picture. The young princess slumbered only a few feet away and here Venus was... dancing this way and that in an attempt to remove the face hugger's grip from her neck.

One quickly rushed over to her and grabbed it by its back and drew out his knife before slicing off the tail. its blood splattering her white uniform and started to eat it away. He then was able to pull it away from her and fling it into the wall he watched it get up and rush back up at its intended target before he grabbed his knife and flung it into the facehugger. He then looked at Venus and tilted his head. "are you all right?" he then looked over to Venus then to Usagi and tapped his mask scanning to see if a facehugger had already planted its seed or if she was just knocked out. he then also started to search for any of her other friends. He pulled off the bomb from his wrist and set it up. it just needed him to trigger it to start the countdown.

Usagi was up there... so far above the ground and looking as though she were sleeping. After the hunter took care of that face hugger, Venus just stood there with her hands clutched in front of her. What was she suppose to do? Licking her lips, she finally tore her gaze away from the sight of Moon above them and looked around the room. There were others. So many others. She could make out the shape of Haruka, Michiru and Setsunna. Those three were always together, she wanted to laugh, but only a dry sound came from her. Then there was Mercury. Dear, darling Mercury chasing after those things grabbed Usagi. Rei was gone. Setsunna's gaze was vacant and her chest a bloody, ragged whole. Neptune and Uranus seemed to be untouched.

And then there was Usagi hanging above them all. Without even thinking, she brushed past the hunter, her hand lightly touching his arm for a moment. With a glance, she told him to wait here, with a look Venus said she would be alright. Then she was off running. Her heels clattering against the floor. She wasn't just the senshi of love and beauty. There was so much more to Venus. She had been a leader before Usagi found her wings. Back in a day when Minako led her guard. Usagi needed her again. Pushing her body, she called upon the last of her faltering power to give her strength and them leaped off the ground. She sailed through the air just far enough to reach Usagi's boots. Then sank her fingers into the webbing. Holding tightly, she lifted one leg and got a good foot then another. Climbing softly, she wrapped her arms around Sailor Moon's waist.

Sailor Venus wasn't a helpless little princess to be rescued. Although, he did save her butt more then once. Still, she wasn't about to give up her title of heroine.

"Hey you", she called down. Low enough that it might not catch any attention, but loud enough for him to hear. Or so she hoped. "Gimme a hand here, 'kay? I need something sharp. A knife... something."

With a grunt, she freed one of her hands and held it out for some sort of weapon. What ever he could toss at her. She wasn't just a soldier, she was also a warrior. And these were her friends, her companions. Her princess. Mars would have wanted her to do this.

One watched Venus then pulled out his knife and handed it over to her. He kept scanning the room to see who needed to be killed so that a chest burster didn't survive and who was already dead or wasn't even "knocked up" yet. He made note of where all the people where before going back and watching what she was ding. as he waited he was on a constant surveillance on if another egg opened up and a facehugger came looking for its newest host. He looked over at one of the dead bodies and just shook his head as he looked at the remote for the bomb that he had set and planted and all the needed was the trigger. "We need to get done and blow this place then I'll send signal that the hunt is over and my ship will then come and make sure."

He would find that quite a few of her friends could be saved. While one or two might still be untouched. (I'll leave it up to you who's impregnated and who's clean.) Either way, Minako caught the knife and used it to saw away at the strands holding Usagi in place. With a low groan, she kept cutting through the webbing until finally her friend was loosened. As they started a free fall in the air, Minako slipped the knife into her "belt" and arranged Usagi's form so she carried her princess bridal style. Only once she hit the ground did she gasp in some pain. Her power was starting to weaken. It would take long until she was plain old Minako. A school girl with no power to speak of. Holding Sailor Moon's form, she crossed the room to her companion and looked up at him.

"Will... will you protect her for me? She's my Princess and her life means everything to use. I'll go check the others and see if I can wake them up." She held Usagi's smaller form out to the hunter, offering a slight smile.

One just watched Venus before taking Usagi from her and holding her over his shoulders like it was no problem. He looked over before spotting two that had not been mated and were in health but needed to be pulled down. He pointed over to them. "There. those two are healthy." he was pointing to Ami and Makoto. He shifted his weight to hold Usagi easier and to help out Minako as she went to go and free her friends. He sighed scanning over two others Haruka and Michiru who looked healthy but had a chest burster inside of them. "those others can't be saved. they have a chest burster, They must be put down." He was trying to find phrase that wouldn't upset her but also let her know that they needed to be put out of there misery and not allow the xeno to grow and escape.

Minako hadn't even thought of her friends being infected. All she had seen was the ragged hole blown through their chests... the finished product of carrying one of those things inside them. And then his words came to her. She was in the process of cross the room to one of her friends, Ami, to cut the girl free when he spoke of two being infect. Lifting her head, she followed his hand and found Michiru and Haruka. Suddenly Minako's heart sank a few feet and tears came to her eyes. Her friends. Chest busters. That would explain the holes and how these things multiplied. Most people looked at Sailor Venus and thought of her as a dumb blonde, but she wasn't. Pulling Ami down, she brought the girl back to her companion before laying Mercury at his feet. A smaller girl then herself dressed in blue colors rather then orange. Licking her lips, she moved to stand in front of Uranus and Neptune.

At one time, Venus had worshipped the ground Uranus had walked on. Back when Venus thought Uranus was a handsome boy. Then she began to respect the senshi's strength. Almost envy it. Licking her lips, she reached out to touch one's cheek and then the other's. Both would have wanted to protect this universe. No matter what it took. Still, she didn't want to kill them. Nor did she want to leave them inside some fiery blaze... with no idea of whether or not the creatures inside them had lived or not. Closing her eyes, she felt hot tears dripping down her cheeks.

They would reincarnate... or so she hoped. Death never ended people like them. They merely waited and took another form in the next life. Still... she couldn't bring herself to drive a knife through them. They deserved more then that.

Closing her eyes, she looked to the Yautja. "Are you sure? I mean, there's no way to help them?"

Yes, she was stalling, but Minako would do what they had to. "Tell me no and I will take care of them. They are my friends, but tell me yes and... I don't know."
