When your cold your body just wants to shiver and shut down. It wears on my nerves. I'm much more affectionate in a heat wave than a blizzard anyday. Though snowfall can be romantic, its too modern day...it just gets in the way of life.

I find myself more mobile when it is spring and summer. In the winter I don't feel like doing ANYTHING but staying inside where it is warm and I can walk around in a tank top and shorts and dance.

Heat is fail. For one, there's a limit to how much clothes you can remove. You can always add clothes to warm up. And second, the colder it is, the more likely a woman would want you next to her to keep her warm. Closeness = win

I know my boyfriend isn't happy when I caress him with cold hands >.> XD

Hey, when you have winters that go down to 0 F, you know there's a limit of how many clothes you can put on without buying larger sizes especially for wearing a ton of them one over the other. Plus, when you get in the bus or subway, you start feeling feverish because it's instantly too hot, and catch a cold the moment you go back outside.

I don't like wearing coats for a long time, I feel stuck in them and I long for when I can go outside without having to put anything on, makes me feel free again!

Raz has the best point. Heat, you can only take off so much and still be decent, which is fine if you're looking at a hot young woman, but if you're just a sweaty narwhal, people don't want to see your flab spilling over the waistband of your Speedos. Even saying "Hur!" a lot doesn't dissuade them. From a personal comfort level, cold wins. Besides, I always feel energized by cold, mostly because I can exert myself and cool off fast. In the summer, I get lethargic and overheated easily. I just lie around the house and try not to work up more of a sweat than I've already got going.

If you want to be technical, it's
Battleship: 1, Raz: 3.

Duchess just said that her man didn't like a cold hand when getting rubbed. Which is easily amended by blankets, kissing and rubbing hands, etc. etc.

It still counts as an Anti-cold vote. I could easily say just stand infront of your freezer for a while in the summer to get cold, problem solved if you don't like heat.

But we're not solving the problems, we're seeing which of cold/heat people like best.

It wasn't on her disliking, but the guy's dislike.
And using the Freezer in that manner is not worthwile.

How about how inconvenient it is when it's cold and it snows? There's nothing to do, the bus doesn't pass, the cars are stuck. Can't use your bike, can't go out for a walk outside. Being cold 24/7 is very annoying too, and heating costs a lot. I prefer drinking a cold beverage or taking an ice cream rather than making 27 hot chocolates/teas/hot milks all day long.

When I go to work in winter, I get stuck with wet boots, socks and feet all day, I'm sick all the time because I catch colds, and I can't get to work on time no matter how early I wake up, because there's too much traffic.

Oh, and where it's usually colder (in the North), there is less sun during the day. You wake up before the sun, end work at 17:00 and the sun is already down, you haven't seen the day outside at all, and that lasts for 4-5 months. I love the night but for so long it gets tiring. The sun gives partly energy and it's been proven, and more people are getting treated with special lamps that give the same rays as the sun because they lack that light and the energy it gives. And let me tell you that waking up at 6-8 in the morning and feeling like it's 4 or 5 because the sun hasn't risen yet, it's very evil. Where I used to work there was no window in the office and the only moment I would see the day outside was during lunch, for 1 hour.

And because of the cold, of the unattractiveness of going outside when the snow is higher than your knees and when things lack they usual employees because they couldn't get to work, people don't go out as much. They don't move as much, and they can't sleep as much as the natural cycle of sleep in winter (like bears that hibernate), so the body is told to gain weight to keep from the cold, keep more energy and everything you eat transforms into fat. Every spring/summer I have to start over to be in shape.

I think Vesp basically just said it all.
It's hard to follow that up, but she hit the nail right on the head. Winter is restricting.
