Vampires aren't real ((Shibby and Kade Synouske))

He looked at her, "I am vampire, the superior race, the kind that goes bump in the night. I'm the one mother always warns about. Aren't you scared of me?" he growled kind of wondering why she wasn't nearly as afraid as the other girls. All the other girls were scared into submission, but this one was not even the slightest bit scared and she had the audacity that none other would.

"Why should I be afraid anymore, I already know I'm going to die by your hand, and I do not fear death. If you were to kill me now, I would go happily" she said glaring at him.

He looked at her, no longer infuriated, but fascinated by her, as she had the ideals of a vampire with no fear of death, yet she was human. "You confuse and astound me." he said staring at her as he sat there.

Leila looked at him with a look that said "What?!". We they not just arguing?. She looked at him and said "You have to be the most confusing person I have ever met"

"And you the most confusing that I've ever met. How can a human not be afraid to die? Death is not something fun." He said as he looked into her eyes, "I know you make me angry, but somehow you amaze me by embracing death."

She looked at him and said "There is no point being afraid of death. The moment you are born, you know that one day you will die. There is no point being afraid of the inevitable" she said.

He nodded, "Yes I know that, but most humans don't. You're more than human. Tell me Leila. What are you?" He asked as he sat there and looked at her. He hated going soft, but he couldn't help it, he needed to know what she was.

She looked at him and said "What are you talking about...ofcourse I'm human, what else could I be" she said looking at him with an expression of shock on her face.

He looked at her, "Do you ever hear other humans thoughts?" he asked looking her over as he couldn't believe that someone so unique could just be a human.

She looked at him and said "I don't think so" she said to him. She still didn't know how he could think she wasn't a human.

He looked at her and nodded, "Okay then you're not telepathic. I guess you are human, but you're so much better than a normal human."

Leila looked at him. She was still a little unsure about what so special about her. What she had told him was only the truth.

He looked at her as he sat there, "Why do you want to live if you know that death is coming? Doesn't that depress you?" He asked as he stood up slowly.

"No...it just make me appreciate life more" she said to him. She watched as he stood, wondering what he was going to do to her now.

He looked at her and nodded, "You still amaze me." He said softly as he watched her, "I don't want to kill you or let you go for that matter."

Leila looked at him and sighed. would it kill him to give her a straight answer? She looked at him and said "Well what are you thinking, you keep staring at me like I'm some sort of exotic creature"

He looked away, "That's because you are exotic to me. You're a different kind of human." He said softly as he looked at her and took her hand, "Is it really that bad to be here?"

Leila looked at him as he took her hand and spoke. She looked at him and said " You made it feel horrible..." she told softly. She looked at him and said "When you are kind...it's not so bad".

He looked at her, "You know how I bit you? It can be made to be very pleasurable." He said as he smirked at her, and he was surprised that she said things weren't so bad when he was nicer.

Leila looked at him and said "I see....". She was of course hesitant to try it. She was hesitant to try anything with him. All she really wanted was to go home.

He sighed softly, "Fine. I won't try it." He said as he got up and walked away, "You better not leave." He said not exactly happy that the first time he was nice she threw it into his face.

She looked at him and said "Can I sleep anywhere?" she asked him. She figured she might as well, considering she wasn't going anywhere, anytime soon.

He nodded, "Yes you can sleep wherever you wish. I will be making sure that you haven't left every so often, so remain in the house." He said with a growl.
