Tulsa Oklahoma:

A small black cat gingerly walks across marble floors limping as it goes. entering an immaculately styled bedroom it settles on an indigo velvet cushion. The woman's eyes snap open.

"Time again is it perhaps this one they can get right... I do hate starting over from ground zero like this but it is a necessary evil. Standard, party should be okay for the others now to contact them all again.... Sigh... Okay let's begin pulling at the strings."

The old woman gets out of bed picking the cushion up with her cat absent-mindedly rubbing its ears as she walks down the hall to a sewing room right out of the 1300's, She starts looking at a chaotic mess of strings pulling out a pair of gold sheers she clips some of the strings and connects them to others. "What a mess every time it is like this and it gets worse and worse the number of today's I have to deal with."

Anti mutant protest and violence have been the corner stone of Ms. Scott's life for as long as she can remember. It only recently occurred to her exactly how mutants must feel about this.

Ms. Scott was minding her own business today but as she rounded the corner of E. 26th and S. Darlington she saw a group of protesters gathering around the elementary school signs and chants at the ready... A new mutant discovered their powers and they are only a child. Will they make it to the 6th grade? The protest has just started and already it is clear that this mob is out for blood. As they catch sight of a woman in a passing car who is something more than human, and begin to attack.

Wealth and privilege obviously have their advantages Gabriel was often kept out of any situation which her odd appearance would garner her more than a passing glance. She was unsure as to why her driver had taken her down this side street but that did not concern her as much as the rock that just flew into the window at her head. A mob of people were coming toward her and a loud bang followed by the swerving of her limo informed her that her tires were out of commission.

The elders work in mysterious ways while you often curse being sent to this cesspit of a planet with its ungodly technology and it's confusing people. Rarely do you ever find a challenge worth investigating; however, the ones you do find are extremely difficult to fight. It is a world of feast or famine how could you possibly decide if those of this planet are worthy fighters when they run the gambit of barely more powerful than an infant to almost godlike?

You are just finishing up your morning meditations when a mind brushing yours brings you to full attention.

Eric Blair/ Ambrosia

You are enjoying a quiet evening at home when all hell literally breaks loose. You do not know what is happening or why but winged monsters have broken past your entire security system. These five are of obviously demonic origins and seem intent solely on the abduction of Ambrosia.

Anna Scott

She was not having a good time since she had escaped those who at one point might have been on her side - she still hoped her actual family were, they had never been violent merely concerned - but in her youth she had glossed over the extremist elements of the community.

Franky she always figured that it was a war normal people couldn't win - if one person could level cities there was little conventional forces could really do about it. So locating, registrating, training, and for those who proved too dangerous removal was really the only method of dealing with mutants - until some cure could be found and administrated at birth.

Her time since she had been diagnosed hadn't really changed her mind much - if any random child, person on a bus etc could erupt at any moment into a pillar of fire and torch a city block without even planning to - it made sense to be weary and try to find methods of prevention. The arguement that most were good people didn't really work for her - a the ninty nine good mutants didn't really matter of the one bad one killed a bunch of people - not to the families anyway.

This was the chain of thought that brough her to the school that day, she wanted to observe and see how things played out - if the kid was harmless than this was a waste, if it was dangerous than maybe the protestors had a point - but this was still a daft method of dealing with it, school boards had powers to deal with these things if they saw a threat.

But she felt that she needed to see what was going to happen anyway - such flashpoints of hostility could have serious consequences, and had throughout history. Her presence her alone might prevent anything that would mean harm for her succeeding - and hopefully protect both the school and the protestors, when everyone failed in their anger no one suffered.

As the crowd turned on the car she again wondered about her powers - reality seemed to work to make sure that everyone had a bad day around her, but she didn't want to get involved if it wasn't needed.

Putting her hand in her pocket she confirmed several coins - if she needed to she could throw them, maybe save the mutant, maybe save the protestors if the mutant proved dangerous - hopefully not need to save any actual kids.

Eric Blair - Bronze Man

Well, it had been a quiet night. A nice one, too. His new...friend? Acquisition? Whatever she was, she'd been a very pleasant surprise. Not only did she have actual superpowers, they were unlike any of the ones he'd ever heard about. In addition, she was beautiful, and she seemed to greatly enjoy making him happy. He'd been happy to accept those offerings, even made occasional requests, though in a tone perhaps more compatible with a long term partner, which contrasted with the almost secretarial tone she normally offered. He was still figuring it out, but the exploration was far from unpleasant.

When the creatures appeared, he immediately saw that they had come for her. That would not be happening. It was time to open the briefcase.

Melissa Williams - Ambrosia

It happened recently that Melissa had met Eric and was taken by him into his mansion, she didn't bothered this at all, in fact she loved it, it was far better than the horrible place she had been taken away from. Melissa had a very, very low self steem, something not easy to explain as she was really gorgeous but she was rather shy and also was constantly trying really hard to please Eric in every way she could and not just that as Eric had already had the chance to see for himself she had actual powers unlike him. Sometimes flashy, sometimes subtle but she seemed to be able to pull out every task done and done in a pleasant way as well. Something easy to get used to something some could consider dangerous as the addiction she caused to those that had a taste hard to forget.

Her previous owner was one of them, someone not willing to let her go so easily, someone who had already found her and sent after her. Melissa wouldn't oppose once she was taken away again but until then she would do anything to protect her current partner and right now he was Eric. Her eyes focused on the creatures that had come after her, her divine ascendance allowing her to witness their capabilities before she tried to do anything against them, then she saw Eric pulling his briefcase out and quickly releasing his favorite 'toy'.

Terrified Melissa run behind Eric and swiftly touched the armor he was donning greatly increasing its combat capabilities. "Don't let them take me, please"

Ra'Khan Di'Zal

Ra'Khan sat crossed legged on the center spot of the warehouse, the huge structure empty of any other individual and was the perfect place to be his temporary shelter. Of course it wasn't like that when he came, a handful of individuals that smelled like they didn't bathe for a century but dressed lavishly made it their home. Seeing them talk to nothing made Ra'Khan believe they were hallucinating and wouldn't mind if another individual joins them. Apparently not as the immediate presence of him caused all of three of them to scream 'alien' and 'bad trip' before scampering to the huge doors like startled vermin.

Thus he spent many days and nights in the huge house surrounded by empty crates and walls filled with strange symbols. At times he had to avoid the occasional patrol of the security, an old man looking like a frail version of one of the many elders. Perhaps he was one of them, perhaps he was from before his time, a time when travelling across space and time was for luxurious fun rather than necessity. There had come nights when his isolation got the better of him and he made contact with the old man but it only made him look behind his shoulders and around him asking "Who's THERE?!" in quite the frightened tone.

1 stone to Telepathy to locate

He didn't want to give someone else a scare but he didn't want to reveal himself and his otherworldly visage so he kept to himself. That is until he sensed someone from outside his sanctuary, someone capable of communicating in the way similar to him moving towards his position; his mental senses ringing with a different energy when the stranger stepped within his zone. He dropped his meditative stance and tried to discern where this stranger was coming from. Being in such a rather chaotic world, it helps to be careful and in his experience, it never hurts to be too careful.

Niobe had a Brandon Sanderson book up on her phone. She was reading about a man who animated ropes and rag dolls and a princess who could change the color of her hair with a thought. Niobe herself had frosted platinum tresses that shimmered like Christmas tree tinsel. She tried to use hair dye to deemphesise it down to her original platinum blond, but dies faded. They faded faster when she used her power, and when her cola kept warming up this morning, well, she'd gotten clumsy.

It was still quite a shock when the rock hit her window. Niobe gave a startled cry and dropped her phone. She grabbed it quickly and stuffed it in her lap top pack. Looking up to the uber-driver she demanded quickly, “What's going on? Where are we?”

Glancing out at the angry mob, Niobe gave a surprised whimper. She'd only known she was a mutant for about a year, and had spent most of that with people who by and large had no need to fear her. Niobe flexed her finger's nervously. “We need to get out of here!” she told the driver, though even as she was saying it, she realized that she was endangering him just by being in his car. Maybe should get out and flee on foot?

Should I fight them? Will they hurt someone else if I don't?

Action: Waiting for the driver's reaction.
