Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

Megohime tried to shy away, but the brambles around her horns and neck kept her from moving, then in a soft flash of light, it was a sword that was tangled in the brambles. Blue and silver, the sleek sword hung in the thicket with a distorted hum.

Akihime smirked and carefully removed the blade from the brambles, "Incredible. Even after all the stress we put her under, she's still so beautiful."

The silver blade was flawless, a zig zag pattern running down the length of the blade. Akihime could hear and feel the hum coming from the blade, but it seemed erratic and out of tune. "Do you need help, Akihime-sama?"

Akihime went to work, humming as she used special tool to break Megohime into pieces. She took a reasonably long shard and made a noise of approval, "This will do nicely. Don't you agree, Ama-chan?"

Amaya inspected the broken shard, the very tip of the sword, about six inches long. "It's beautiful, Akihime-sama. Would you like for me to take it to a smith?"

"Yes, please. Thank you so much." She smiled, carefully handing the shard over, "And when that's done, please have Lady Claw reforged as well. With a shard missing, she won't be as powerful as before, I won't have much to worry about."

Amaya took the blade and wrapped it carefully in a cloth, then tucked it under her arm and left for the forge.
No more did a soft hum vibrate from the blade, which lay in pieces on the table before Akihime, almost as if it were some regular old broken sword.

It took the entire rest of the day for the blacksmith to forge a weapon from the sword share, but when it was finished, it had been fashioned into a beautiful dagger. It was double sided, and the blade was in the shape of a V, being thin at the tip, and becoming wider as it reached the hilt. This weapon was given to Akihime, while the remaining to pieces of the Claw were gathered up and wrapped into a large cloth.

A gentle hum came from the dagger, showing it had similar life. The little dagger had no pattern on its blade, but almost in an ironic twist, the handle of the dagger was a dragons arm grasping an orb, all steel of course, but none the less, it sparkled like jewels.

The blade hummed slightly louder for a moment, then in a soft light of white, a young girl sat on the table before Akihime, no older than eight or nine. She had large scarlet eyes, with heavy eyelashes and full rosy cheeks, porcelain skin freckled with scales and small horns protruding from her long black hair, which tied together near the end of her hair. She looked like a life sized doll, small and delacate, clothed in an orange and black colored leaf-print kimono.
"Akihime-sama, what would you like me to do with the rest of the Dragons Claw?" Amaya inquired, holding up the cloth wrapped sword.

Akihime was too busy gushing over the small child before her, "Oh look at you...! How precious you are!" She chirped. She looked to Amaya and perked, "Oh, yes, the rest of Lady Claw. Why don't you be a sweetheart and deliever her to Date, hm? He'll be furious, I'm sure, so please be careful..." She moved over and caressed Amaya's cheek, "I don't know what I would do if you were harmed, Ama-chan.."

Her pale white cheeks turned red, and her eyes softened as she looked at Akihime, the slightest of smile on her face. "I'll return quickly, and unharmed, my lady." She said softly, then bowed her head, and was gone.

The young girl shifted her gaze back from the elf that had once been in the room, back to Akihime, a neutral and calm expression on her face.

The young girl gave a nod of confirmation, eyes locked with Akihime's, but said nothing, perhaps she was shy?

The young girl gave Akihime's hand a tight squeeze, and it almost felt as though she tugged Akihime's hand closer to her chest.

On the outskirts of Oshuu's mighty castle, where the Date clan head resided, a shimmer of mist appeared, and a pale woman stepped from the mist, her bare feet touching the ground lightly. Quietly making her way up the path to the main castle doors, she easily slipped passed each soldier and guard outside.

Akihime frowned softly, "What's the matter?" She asked, "Do you hurt?"

Masamune was with Kojurou, trying to figure out a way to track down Akihime and Amaya. "The woman that helped her escape had long hair?"
"Yeah, and she was super pale. She looked elvish." Masamune said. Kojurou shook his head.
"That doesn't make sense..." Kojurou muttered, "Ancient Elves are nearly extinct."

She shook her head, a soft frown on her lips. "I'm lonely.." She whispered softly.

Amaya scowled softly, she detested most humans, they meddled in things they didn't understand and would often lash out with violence in response to the unknown. Akihime was different however, she understood, she was gentle.
Pushing open the grand doors, Amaya made her way inside the main hall where Masamune and his retainer were speaking, a rolled up cloth in her hand. Her eyes were fixated on Masamune, a soft scowl on her face. "My master has asked of me to return the Dragons Claw to you." She tossed the heavy cloth forward and it landed with a thunk, unraveling to show the broken blade. It was in two pieces, but one could easily tell a third piece was missing. "What she didn't need, that is." She cave a curt bow of her head to the two men, then turned, waving her hand before her, summoning the same shimmering mist.
No hum came from the blade, showing how lifeless it was, but it was definitely the Dragons Claw.

Akihime frowned and made a gentle noise of sympathy. "Oh, dear one.." She pulled her close and held her, petting her hair gently, "Don't worry, you won't be alone ever again.."

Masamune shot up and rushed at her, tackling her to the ground before she could escape. He twisted her arm behind her back and snarled, "You were a fucking idiot to come here alone."
