Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

Minehime blinked, shaking her head in confusion; it suddenly looked like she had aged about four or five years overnight, but other than that, it was still the same old Minehime. "I think so..?"

Minehime didn't look all that excited about asking Mitsunari about anything. "I-I'm sure it's normal..! I feel fine!"

Minehime's cheeks flushed and she nodded. "H-Hai..! Onegaishimasu..!" Yup, she was still Hidemune's Minehime, no doubt about it.

Minehime waited for him to leave before she got out of bed, moving over to the note and staring down at it. Her hand hesitated over the folded letter before she let out the breath she had been holding in and picked it up.

"Hidemune
It has come to my attention that a piece of the legendary blade has been hidden in Osaka. I will be on my way to the castle to stay with your masters while I conduct my search."

Conduct his search? Who's search? The letter continued on for a while about how this man - Masamune, she saw at the bottom - would stay as long as he needed and how he already discussed it with Mitsunari and Hideyoshi and other useless things that didn't really matter to her. What mattered was that a man was coming to Osaka looking for her and he was going to take her away from Hidemune.

Minehime's hands started to shake as she read further into the letter, this man was going to take her away from Hidemune? Why? It wasn't fair, she didn't belong to him, he wasn't her master, Hidemune was. Crumpling up the letter, she tossed it into the toilet and flushed it, shaking slightly. She wasn't going to let this man find her, and she wasn't going to let him take her from Hidemune.

After a while, Hidemune returned, "Ok, so both Mitsunari-sama and Hanbei-sama say that it's our connection or something that's making you age. I didn't really understand, but they say you're going to be fine and I shouldn't worry!"

Minehime smiled, siting on the edge of the bed like she had been waiting for him, well she had, but regardless. "That's good..!" She said. "Ne, can we go to the market today..?"

Minehime blinked. "Something for me? What is it?" She asked, tilting her head and looking at him.

Minehime nodded and slipped on her shoes, hurrying after Hidemune, excited about her gift; her gut still was in knots over the letter, but she shoved the feelings down.

They walked out and into the market, looking at all the things that were being sold. They stopped at a jewl crafter, who smiled brightly, "Ohayo, Hidemune-sama! Your order is ready!" She said brightly before turning and grabbing something covered in a cloth. He thanked her and paid her more than requested before turning to Minehime. "I hope you don't mind, Mini..." He said gently before uncovering the cloth. Underneath was a good ornate horn cap that matched her own, sparkling and bright in the sunlight.

Minehime stared at it for a moment before she registered what it was, and immediately tears came to her eyes. Her horn had started to grow once more, but she wouldn't get back the missing chunk that was cut off. She took the cap gently in her hands and looked up at Hidemune. "Arigatou.." She whispered, looking back down at in. She was overjoyed, beyond that and much, much more; hugging Hidemune tightly, she thanked him again and again.

She nodded vigorously, wiping them away. "They are..! Thank you so much..!" She looked down at it again. "Will you help me fit it?"

Minehime touched the horn gently, smiling. "It feels even again." She said, beaming with delight.

Minehime nodded, taking his hand and walking with him, smiling the entire way through the market.

They walked through the market looking at all the things for sale. Hidemune grabbed everything Minehime cast her eyes on, loving to see her happy.
