Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

Nobuyuki was walking through the village, looking rather regal with a prideful stride. People parted when he walked passed, smiling faintly and bowing to him.

Minehime spotted him rather easily, and followed him through the crowd, keeping her distance. Her eyes were glued to the mans head, not looking away for a second.

He couldn't shake the feeling that he was being followed and he looked back slightly. He stopped when he saw her and turned, "Hello, child...! Are you lost?"

She shook her head, looking up at him with a frown and a heavy pout. "Why are you being mean to Okaa-sama?" She asked.

"Okaa-sama said you were being mean to her! You have to stop!" She said, frowning heavily.

Minehime stopped, the realization of her not knowing her own mothers name washing over her. Her face flushed red and she looked mortified. "Okaa-sama is Okaa-sama!"

Minehime smacked his hand away, mad that he wasn't listening to her. "You have to promise you won't be mean to Okaa-sama again!"

He chuckled softly, "Alright, little one. Tell your Okaa-sama I'm sorry I upset her and I'll make sincere effort to not do so again."

Minehime stared into his eyes for a moment before giving him a firm nod, but the serious look never left her face. "Ok, but only if you promise."

The young girl took the mans pinkie with her own, squeezing tightly. "Ok." She said softly, looking down at her feet. "Thank you."

She nodded in response, pointing in the direction she had come from, then started to walk without waiting to see if the man was following.

Nobuyuki followed to make sure she arrived safely. He had to admit, she was very odd for a human child; it was evident she wasn't even close to being human. So who could this girl's mother be?

Minehime walked and walked until they were on the road that lead up to the Takeda estate, continuing on at a sure pace.

She stopped and turned to face the man, nodding. "Yeah." She said, motioning for him to hurry up. "We're almost there."

Nobuyuki hesitated before following. What if he ran into Yukimura? How would his brother react after not seeing him for so long?

Kojurou walked through the forest with Masamune, the retainer looking for herbs while Masamune reluctantly practiced his archery.
"I don't need to learn how to use a bow."
"Yes, you do. Marksmanship is a very reliable skill to have." Kojurou told his lord.

Minehime led Nobuyuki up toward the house, and upon seeing Akihime waiting in the seclusion on the gardens, she ran toward her. "Okaa-sama!" She smiled brightly.

Not too far off from where the two men hunted, a young woman hung ensnared in thick brambles, her golden-white hair tangled among the vines along with her long limbs. Of course she wasn't locked away in a dark cave, she was in a partially shaded area, soft sunlight keeping her warm; secluded from the world in a grotto of trees hidden inside of a cave with an open roof, she was allowed to see the sky and get her needed sunlight. She seemed to be resting, head hanging limp, and she was silent, but really she was listening. Her pointed ears listened for anything - any noise that would indicate if her captor, or even someone else was nearby.

Akihime looked up and smiled softly, "Okaeri, little tooth~" She greeted. Nobuyuki was left in shock. Clearly this woman was human, so then what was this child? Akihime noticed Nobuyuki and her eyes widened, "Wh-What? B-But I told you to deal with him." She said. Nobuyuki became tense and furrowed his brows.
"Deal with me?" He growled.

They eventually stumbled upon her and Masamune went rigid. "Her. It's her!" He growled and reached for his broadsword. Kojurou grabbed his wrist firmly.
"Matte! You cut the elf's hair, remember? This one's hair is still long." He noted. Masamune shook with rage but slowly released his sword.

Minehime smiled widely, nodding her head. "I did! He promised he wouldn't be mean again..!" She held up her pinkie with a smile. "He pinkie swore on it."

The woman's ear twitches and she picked her head up, squinting against the sunlight in her light golden eyes to try and see who the voices belonged to. Vines were partially wrapped around her face, acting as a gag so she couldn't scream or call for help while her captor was away, but the thing that was most schocking, even trumping the fact someone had bound and left her in a secluded area, was her stomach. She was heavily pregnant, belly swollen with life, and though she didn't have any scratches or bruises, anyone could tell she wasn't there voluntarily.

Akihime fumed and smacked Minehime to the ground. "You dense little beast!" She snapped, "That isn't what I wanted!"
"How dare you lay hand on this innocent girl!" Nobuyuki hissed, reaching for his dual katana. Akihime glared at him, magic dancing from her fingertips.

Kojurou moved over quickly, "Do you need help? How can I get you down, should I cut the vines?"
"I don't think we can get her down, Kojurou." Masamune said, making a disappointed face.
