The Outcast and the Princess (Ren Olvry & ToxxicJinxx)

"Heh... sounds like something I could easily get used to," Orion suggested on the point of apparently frequent feasts, a grin spreading across his face. And a hot bath... well, he wasn't always the best with the heat, he could admit, but it wasn't so bad sometimes. It was worth a try, at the very least, and certainly couldn't hurt; it wasn't as though he'd ever even had a proper bath in the first place, so it could be a nice change, he considered. At her next comment, though, he tilted his head a little in curiosity, exhaling a slight sigh. Right... Vivian had said they'd not put that much care toward her, hadn't she?

Rather than immediately going, though, the Glaceon moved closer to the woman, nuzzling his head up into her hand and granting it an affectionate lick. "Well, try not to worry about your parents and all of them too much, alright? After all, you've got me now to turn to anytime you want, for anything. Even if it's something a princess maybe wouldn't normally do, well, I've been an outcast 'til now; I'll still have to figure out what's 'proper' and all that," he offered with an amused little chuckle, before starting to walk off alongside her, taking a direction that he knew would lead them straight to the city in a short while.

"And... odd question, but... do you find me attractive? Physically, I mean. I guess... I just want to hear it from you," he asked, glancing up skyward for a few moments in embarrassment at asking something like that.

She walked along side him, smiling and rubbing his head lightly, "I do... find you attractive... More than I've found any man..." she admitted shyly, her face flushing as they made there way through the woods. She wasn't sure what everyone would think about her new companion, but she didn't care either way, they would have to accept him. It wasn't terribly long until they saw the city walls appearing over the trees, her violet eyes rested on it as they walked, moving closer to him without realizing it. "Oh... and if you don't like the hot baths, I can always give you a cold one, I didn't think about it before, ice type, cold..." she said, giggling at bit at how long it had taken her to put those thoughts together.

As they approached closer the the city gates, she looked down at her new companion, "Stay close and stay as quiet as possible until we get into the castle... please don't leave my side, things might be a bit hectic at first.. " she warned in a soft tone as they finally reached the gates. Guards looked at them curiously, gasping as they realized their princess had returned, one blowing a signal while other scrambled to the pair.
"Princess! You're alive! We just received a report that the tower collapsed, everyone is in a frenzy!" One guard explained.
"How did you escape the tower and the beast?" Another asked, they all looked relieved and concerned as another came to drape the young princess with a large blanket.
"This amazing creature saved me, he is the one who finally took down that beast and got me out of the tower and out of harms way... Please take us to my parents..." she explained, smiling down at Orion as the guards looked at him in amazement.

Receiving that sort of response especially, Orion tilted his head up a bit more to nuzzle a bit further into her hand, an embarrassed grin forming across his face. He found a human so attractive, and she, similarly, found him that attractive... who'd have thought such a thing would come to pass. "Oh... no, no. I admit, heat isn't exactly my favorite thing in the world, but it could be nice having a dip in some hot water from time to time," he offered with a little chuckle of his own. "And I admit, you're quite a bit more attractive to me than any of the females I've seen," he added, his eyes momentarily roaming Vivian's form again, albeit one partly covered by that damaged gown.

At her warning, though, the Glaceon gave a little nod, falling silent for now. He didn't doubt that some folks might recognize him as an outcast, an occasional food thief... but he'd just worry about that when it may come. For all intents and purposes, he made a point of looking harmless and docile enough; even, quite arguably, showing a deal less intelligence in his features than he actually had.

"Yes... of course," one of the guards nodded, though his eyes were focused mostly on the Glaceon next to the princess. "This one was... an outcast, I'm sure of it. Are you certain you want to bring him with you? I'm sure you know what they say, some of these outcasts are clever buggers, just out for themselves..." the man somewhat hesitantly spoke, Orion himself showing no apparent reaction to any of it; merely walking along by Vivian as the guard started to lead the way toward the castle.

Vivian shot the guard a silencing glance, "I've made my decision. Are you questioning me?" She responded in a very stern tone, causing the guard who had spoken to shake his head vigorously and apologize before falling silent. "He save me, I don't care if he was an outcast, thief or self-serving. He is to be by my side now and he will get whatever he desires." She added, her tone made it clear that any comments would land them an audience with her father. The guards all whispered about how their princess was being too kind, and the likes, though she just ignored them at this point, making her way to the castle with her hand on her companion at all times, making it clear to anyone not to lay a finger on him.

As they finally made it to the castle, they were greeted by the king and queen, "OH my! Vivian, your dress! We will have to get you cleaned up!" Her mother exclaimed, looking her up and down before pulling her into a hug.
"And who is this here? Is this fella the one who saved my beloved daughter?" Her father said, looking down at the Glaceon, Vivian nodding to him with a smile. "He is the one who saved me, I'm taking him as my companion." She said, looking over to Orion with a warm smile, nodding to him to show him it was safe to speak now.

'Whatever he desired', hm... oh, he'd be desiring plenty, he was certain. Much of which would have to be behind closed doors; there was no way they could let that slip, at least just yet. Keeping that in the back of his head, the Glaceon contently followed along with the princess, continuing to show nothing in particular as he just walked along at her side. People could say whatever they wanted now, he supposed, and he could tell full well that some people recognized him. Let them talk, then; he wouldn't be bothering them any more anyway. Wouldn't even have to.

"Well, I can't take all the credit," Orion spoke with a little grin, that only served to widen slightly at the obvious surprise on the king and queen's faces. "But where are my manners in the presence of royalty... Orion, at your service," he introduced himself, in turn offering a low bow.

"You... you speak?" the queen exclaimed in surprise. "Vivian, dear... your companion? Are you certain of this? A loyal pokemon is one thing, but this..." she uncertainly spoke, turning to Vivian herself.

Vivian just smiled at her parents and nodded, "I'm more than positive, I'll only have him, no other pokemon will do." She stated, her tone made it clear to them that she wouldn't change her decision. Her mother let out a heavy sigh, while her father just laughed out and squeezed his daughter close to him "Well done dear! You've found yourself quite the conpanion!" He said, obviously accepting her words, "You both should go get cleaned up at once! A feast for your return and your new companion's heroics shall be had!" He announced in a booming voice as he shooed the pair towards a large staircase in the middle of the room. Maids scurried around the palace athe the kings words, hurrying to have all preparations started immediately.

Vivian smiled at Orion and began to lead the way up the large staircase, "This way to my room, and yours now." She said as she walked, only waving to her parents briefly before rushing up the rest, making her way down the large hallways to a pair of large, overly decorated doors. She shot him a sly smile before pushing the doors open to reveal a large, lavishly decorated room, a large stone balcony and enormous canopy bed. "The bathroom is over this way, they have most likely prepared it already..." she said as she made her way towards another doorway, walking through, slipping out of her torn gown and throwing it back into the room where Orion still stood. "I was right~" she said as she slipped into the large tub, full of warm water and bubbles, "It's ready~"

Feast; even that one word caused the Glaceon's ears to perk up a little, in spite of the princess already promising earlier that there would be one. Occasionally, his eyes flicked this way or that as the maids started to work, not used to... well, any of this, at all. Blinking himself out of his slight reverie as Vivian spoke, Orion gave a little nod, quickly enough continuing to follow along right at the woman's side; a place that nobody was taking from him, he mentally swore that much.

When they reached her -- or, indeed, now their -- room, the Glaceon stared around in amazement at the spacious and decorated room; never mind the bed, that looked rather comfy to him. Keeping his attention at least relatively on the present, he gave a little nod to her statement before following along to the bathroom, where the hot, bubbly bath apparently awaited. Unable to help but let his eyes wander a little over her form, he carefully followed her into the warm water, exhaling a content sigh as he settled a little into it. "Sorry if the water'll probably cool a bit faster while I'm in here," he offered with a small, apologetic grin. Drifting through the water nearer the princess herself, he glanced down to her shoulder for a moment, before nuzzling slightly into it and granting it a long, slow lick. "I hope they'll not notice, or think too much, of the little marks left here; I tried to be careful not to leave anything too obvious, at least," he spoke, before resting his chin gently on that shoulder.

"I could get used to all this... the feasts, the warm bath, the huge room, the comfy-looking bed..." he suggested with a little grin. "The beautiful woman to share it with..." he teased, giving a little chuckle. "They're not going to try and dress me in anything, though, are they?"

Smiling at him, she wrapped her arms around him slightly, rubbing water over him carefully. "I don't mind it getting cold as long as you are close to me." She said softly, her fingers slowly exploring their way through his fur, "I don't mind marks either, I'm fairly clumsy... so no one really notices new bruises and the likes." She said with ano embarrassed smile now, "My body is generally covered by numerous layers of clothing as well. You are the only one who has seen my body in its entirety." She finished as she reached for a small bucket, filling it up and pouring it over their heads. A relaxed sigh slipped from her lips before she leaned forward and kissed his nose affectionayely, "Let's just hope they don't try to marry me off immediately after my return, they were pretty fierce over it before I was taken." She said with a frown, looking away from him for a moment.

Feeling Vivian's fingers rub through his fur and against him, Orion exhaled a content little breath, letting his eyes drift closed as he merely enjoyed the touch. As she poured that water over them, he lowered his chin a bit further against her shoulder, even pushing slightly against her neck as he visibly resisted the urge to shake himself off, before exhaling a slight sigh when it was over. He'd have to get at least a bit used to that as well, he supposed. Ah well; not everything could be as good as things had been going.

"Maybe they will, or maybe they'll just give you some time, especially as it wasn't a human that retrieved you; I'm sure that would've made their decision easy enough as a matter of reward," he suggested with a little shrug. Nuzzling gently against her cheek, the Glaceon shifted his head over a little to place a soft kiss against the woman's lips -- something he was coming to quite enjoy, at that, even though most of his kin likely wouldn't. Holding the contact for a few moments, he rested his forehead against hers afterward, shifting his front legs up to rest gently over her shoulders. "Even if they do, though, and for whatever reason that husband wants rid of me, well, I'd wish him luck. Like I said, I'm not going anywhere," he assured.

She gladly returned his kiss, "It's too bad I can't turn you into a prince with a magic kiss like in those fairytales, I'd just marry you." She teased with a smile, before looking to the door, "We should probably go get ready soon, I'm sure the are nearly ready by now, they are always fast when my father requests a feast." She said with a giggle, running her fingers through his wet fur, kissing his nose affectionately as she shifted slightly beneath him, moving out of the tub finally, her hands pulling a towel over her body as she turned back to him, "Would you like to stay in a bit longer, or will you be getting out too?" She asked curiously, the smell of delicious food had just began to waft through their room, making it known that the feast was almost ready.
