Why Me?(Kaiba love story) Duchess&Parisu-kun

Seto was already waiting for her with his usual serious gaze but with each step she took to him the more and more his lips curled into a smile and he was already waiting for her to be his bride Yugi was standing next to him with the rings in his possession and so when they were all in their places the ceremony was underway.

When the time came for him to answer he said: "I do" plain and simple yet there was no doubt in him.
 
she watched that coy smile that he had once she reached him, she watched her father kiss her hand and left her there after passing her hand to his, she held Seto's hand an handed her flowers over to her maid and took his other hand, she listened to the precher and watched Seto carefuly, when he said his, hers was soon to follow, all of these hings rushed to her head at one time but her words came out smootly

" i Do"
was her answer, she watched him for a while longer then once the time came she steped closer to him and looked up at him as if she were shy but it was still new to her.
 
When the priest said the words for them pronouncing them Husband and wife and Yugi handed the Rings they both walked down the aisle to the entrance where the Kaiba corp Helicopter awaited them and they took off for their honeymoon. Kaiba had no real plans and when you got unlimited resources like he did the best thing to do was... To do anything she wanted.

"So... where would you like to go?"

He said as two of them took off..
 
She looked at him and played with the shirt she had put on before they left the building, she had pulled on a pair of pants as well, she bit her lips slightly and turned to him again watching him a while before she answered " im not sure as to where to go, nothing to high key, somewhere relaxing" she smiled slightly and crossed her legs at the knees, this was a different Charis that who he had first met, she seemed more relaxed, but still held her air of elegance about her. " oh and just so we are clear....nothing sexual is going to happen on this trip, in fact i want to sleep alone to avoid it" she said quietly, wondering what his reation would be.
 
"As you wish. Though I will be struggling with my impulses to abide to such."

He said and told the pilot to fly off to the okinawa beaches where they would spend some time together and as she wanted had separate rooms. 20 or so it was a small mansion by the beach.

"Well Okinawa is always sunny and its a good choice for a just married couple."
 
she looked at him and then turned her head away from him and yawning softly watching the lower parts of the city disapper, she wondered if he would be able to hold himself back, she wasn't much to look at anyway, she rolled her green eyes around the helicopter and they landed on Seto again, she just examined his face, the strong jawline and the sharp gaze gave her slight butterflies in her stomach. She turned away before somthing else happened and sat there in silence.

Eventully they came to the beach, she gawked slightly at the large house beside it and smiled slightly thanking god that they were finally landing, then she realized something " what about clothes, i didn't pack anything..." she looked over at him wondering what his solution would be to this
 
"We will get you something nice."

He replied as the chopper landed on the helipad and the both of them descended.

"We should get you a swimsuit and some clothes for about a week... If you need anything else i will tramit you a credit card for whatever you may need."

He helped her get off by picking her up from the waist and smiling warmly at her as he held her up and slowly placed her down by his side.

"After all I will be happy if you are."
 
A blush came to her face when he lifted her like he did, she had never been lifted like that and it sent butterflies into her stomach once again, she bit her lip slightly then cleared her throat before turning away from him " well you need to do things that make you happy to" she said with her back to him and looking around the estate and smiling slightly then looking back at him " im gonna go ahead and go get some clothes, what about you?"
 
"If its okay I would also like to come with you." He said looking at her from behind.

"After all I would like to get many chances to spend time with my new wife. Even if you would say its alll pretend I still wouldn't like it for you to feel lonely when I am with you."

He chuckled lightly.

"Oh and by the way I still have to carry you inside the house so If possible we should do that too."
 
She looked back at him and laughed" don't you think this isn't the traditional marriage, but if you insist then i won't say no to it" in secret she acctuly liked being picked up, and it didn't happen often for her, she stretched and walked towards the house smiling at the path and the scenery that was around the house.
 
"Then if there is no objection"

He took a step behind her and in one swift motion picked her up, he carried her inside and they both walked in greeted by the servants that had already prepared the main bedroom. He carried her all the way down the main hall up the stairs and into the bed room where he left her laying on the bed and gave her a smile. Not unlike his usual smirk but still hard to associate to the usual sarcastic one as his intentions were much different than those of usual.
 
She smiled when he picked her up, she didn't mind being carried like this, she placed her arms around his neck while he held her up, she watched the estate go by and smiled brightly at the servants before placing her hands on ether side of her hips as she sat up on the bed and laughed " i think its over the threshold not all the way to the bed room" she laughed softly and looked up at him still smiling as she swung her legs around and sat up infront of him and looked up with those brillient green eyes.
 
He looked at her, a bit embarrased and blushing lightly as he answered in his usual brisk tone.

"Ah sorry you must take in consideration I have not done this before."

Her eyes as usual sparkled and made him feel slightly uneasy again.
 
She smiled and nodded slowly standing infront of him still looking at him " thats fine" she moved around him smiling, she had seen him blush and thought it looked kinda cute on him " you should blush more often" she said quietly and walked around the room looking at everything even going to the bathroom and turning ont he lights.
 
"What in the world does that mean?"

He asked as he felt his cheeks flush all the way. He took a moment to calm down and let the color fade off his face before sitting on the bed waiting for her.

"So what would the plan be? If you have anything you would like to do we might as well do it today."
 
She laughed softly and looked at him " im saying you should blush more often, it suits you" she smiled playfuly and walked around opening the window to let some air in the musty room, she gazed out over the estate and smiled leaning over the window ceil, " its beautiful out today"
 
He got up and walked behind her taking a good look at the landscape outside, placing a hand on her shoulder he looked at her until she turned to face him. "Well I wish I had a similar compliment but all i can say is that those eyes of yours really are alluring."
 
She was looking at him and a blush finally spread across her cheeks, she cleared her throat and turned away from him to try and hide it " thank you..." she said softly and continued to look outside her hair blowing back past her shoulders " well....umm...lets go and get me some clothes...you umm...don't have to come with me " she all of the sudden felt light on her feet and very uneasy in a good way, she was lost for words, he had just met her not long ago, and already he was charming her like this.
 
"I think I will be joining you, maybe then we can find something we like for eachother."

He said as he made a call for a car and a driver to be waiting for them at the entrance in ten minutes.

"I think we could get a nice meal as well since we havent had anything in a while"

He walked to the door and bowed at her to join him offering his arm to walk her.
 
She blinked slightly and smiled shaking her head " you can be yourself around me you know" she smiled and shoke her head slightly but took his arm and walked out with him towards the front, her eyes lingered over the walls and different things that lay int he hall they were walking.
 
He stood by her and took a few steps forward he understood what he meant by that but still that posed a question to him.

"What makes you think that I am not being myself? We all act differently to different people. Is there a reason you don't think I am being myself? As far as I know nobody acts their true nature, my rival for instance I have seen him acting kind to everyone and yet when we duel he is... intense. And you are an interesting example. You have taken some warmth to me and I believe you were very reluctant to marriage at first... or so your father let me know a few moments before the arrangements took place... however he made me promise... that I would take care of you, and keep you happy."

He then walked down the stairs with her and waited for her to reply something... how would she feel after being told this little revelation and how would she react?
 
She stopped and looked at him watching him walk down the steps a bit more, she waited till he turned to her before she spoke " i was against it because i didn't belive in marring someone i didn't know, someone i didn't love or ask me to marry them, im a very classic person, you know get to know the man before thinking about marriage, and honestly i am happy but i would like to get to know you, don't focus on just making me happy" she moved past him and continued to walk then turned to look at him " im a very complexed woman Mr. Kaiba, and i plan to keep you on your toes" she smiled sweetly at him and waited for him by the door.
 
Seto had seen that she was indeed a complex person. But plain, to him, was boring. He thought about it and smiled. Knowing that even if it had been a coincidence he could be happy with the woman he had married. It was not a sure thing but at least she was willing to try for him and so was he. For she seemed like the kind of person that had the qualities he lacked. And maybe the perfect match to run the company.

"Well if you plan to keep me on my toes then I believe its a sort of challenge and a passionate gamer as me loves a good challenge. Perhaps it was fate then... that we got together in such circumstances. Though I am not one to believe in that stuff. But hey if we manage to be together long enough maybe we will start to like eachother a bit more each day, huh? "
 
She smirked slightly " we shall see" she turned from him and walked out to the car " im also not the house wife type ether" she said to him as she got into the car and sat quietly watching the estate and smiled slightly watching him walk aroudn the car and smileing slightly.
 
He smirked as well. "When you marry into the Kaiba family you marry into a management position Charis. I will see that you wont have to take care of anything pesky... unless you want to that is."

He said as he placed his hand on her shoulder and held the door open for her.

"To the shopping district. And do try to give it haste, I cant let my sweet bride be without something fancy for tonight's dinner."

The both of them arrrived to the shopping and fashion district where they would wander into the many stores looking for something to wear.

"I was wondering if you would also like to see the seashore later so you should also get clothes for that. Something... scantily"
