She slipped her arm out of the agent's hand and went over to the man that had been warning her.

"What do they want with me?" She whispered to him with an obvious sense of urgency.

The man looks you over and leans in close.

"I don't know. The whispers no nothing at all. Who are you? What do you want with me?"
The man pulled away from the FBI agents and walked away. The nearest FBI agent turns to you, taking you by the arm and begining to lead you to the car.

Gale looked at the man dumbfounded then hung her head down when the agent took her by the arm. She got in the car without making a fuss and buckled herself in.

What the hell just happened? She asked herself, feeling completely confused about this whole ordeal. Some crazy guy warns her about vampires, then some feds show up to take her to god knows where.

The agents drive, not saying a word to you at all. It's not long before they pull up infront of a building with a sign that reads "French Quarter Preforming arts center". Two of the agents step out of the car and open you door. One looks at you and speaks.

"Follow me please miss."

As you enter the building, you notice that it is in less than perfect condition. The walls are covered in a strange red substance and the curtains are full of holes. As you continue down the hallway, it appears to get darker. As you reach what you think is the end of the hall way, it is pitch black and you can't see a thing.

Suddenly a door opens and you see what appears to be the main area of the theater. The room looks full of people and the man on stage seems to have their total attention. He whips around and points toward where you are standing.

"And here comes the guest of honor for our lovely little gathering."

No one seems to move. No one looks. As you look around, the agents have left and the man has jumped off the stage and is coming toward you, swaying lightly and speaking in a raspy, accented voice.

"Well, well Mon Cher! I have been waiting for you for ages. One who would understand the pains I have gone through over the years. The voices that speak at all hours of day and night and the troubles they can cause!"

He smiles at you, suddenly appearing much younger and innocent, extending his hand.

"Please... Don't leave me alone anymore."

Gale looked at the man with a mix of horror and another emotion she had trouble describing even to herself. She was hesitant to take his hand, but his words made her feel a deep sadness toward him. It was mostly the look of blood on his clothing that kept her nervous, but he was on stage before coming to her, so surely it was fake. She took his hand and blushed slightly, more colour coming to her already fair skin.

The man smiles at you. Taking your hand, he pulls you closer, the heavy smell of copper seems to cling to him. As he wraps an arm around your waist, he leans near your ear.

"Do you trust me?"

He stands straight and begins walking toward the stage, leading you with him. As he steps onto the stage, he begins humming a soft tune. He pulls you in close to him, leaning down to lightly kiss your neck. He whispers one last time.

"Please. Forgive me. I will explain everything when you wake."

There is a sharp pain before everthing goes black.

As Gale blacked out, she felt as if she were falling for the longest time. She felt scared at first until she managed to orient herself in her mind to try and see the bottom, but there was none. Finally she settled into the feeling, starting to relax a little until she felt a pain in her neck and in the pit of her stomach. She felt so hungry, rather insatiable in fact that at first she only barely noticed the voices that began to whisper to her.

She opened her eyes a while later. It was hard to tell how long she had been unconscious for, but she knew that some drastic change had been made to her. The hunger she felt in her dreams seemed to have increased in intensity by threefold. A ravenous hunger, she would do anything to get some sort of sustenance right now.
