Tiberius dropped the ax in front of Kenning, kneeling down and whispering something in his ear before standing and walking away "Lakened." he called to the old man "Call for a healer for him." he stopped and aighed as he turned aeound and went back and yanked off the mantel from Kenning "You wont need this any longer. Your sister will be lady of the lands. You may live there and be of service to her if she wishes it." he said and walked back shovong the mantel into the hands of Lakened. "I want to rest. Do not disturb me until dinner is ready." he said to the man, not tryinvto be mean but obviously and understandly upset. He walled up to Kilika "Please forgive me. I had not wanted you to expreince such a thing on your first day. But you handled yourself beautifuliy. If you will, I will show you to your room myself." he said trying to force out a smile to her. He was proud of her. He was extremely proud of her just upset by the reason it had to happen. He looked to the princess "Im sorry you had to hear thar. If i had known, I would have handled this alone."
After that, he lead Kilika down another hall, a smaller one than the great hall where the throne was kept. He stopped infront of a large door, the wood being hled by brass hinges. He opened it for her and let her go inside. It was a bed room,a large one at that. A large bed sat against the wall, covered in furs, a large fire place with a fire going, and two dressers. He nodded to one "That is yours now. We have more places for any clothing you have thats just what you need at hand." on top of the dresser was an assortment of items, inckuding a polished bronzed mirror, an ivory handle hear brush, and matching comb. There were other items there too, she would time to explore the rest. He also nodded at two T shape frames. One held a suit of metal armour, Tiberius's. "The empty one is for your armour if you wish to display it. This will be our room. For now, you will have it to yourself. Nothing but the best for y high lady." he said with a smile "Kilika..." his smile vanished "I am sorry for what he said. I want you to know I do not think of you in that way. I know your not exactly human, but that matters very little to me. Im happy to have you here." he said as he sat on the bed, letting her look around. The room was warm, with the fire and a few torches going to keep it warm. The walls were fitted stone blocks, the ceiling and fllor, planks of wood. The floor had a large rug covering a good part of it. The walls had a few paintings on them, and a set of deer antlers. His bear banner hung above the fire as well. "I dont think I told you, but each major house has a symbol. Most are animals like mine, the bear. Its tradtion that we hang your banner beside mine if you have a symbol. If you dont, then we'll just share mine." he said and laid back onto the bed "Who knew being a ruler was so hard? So many to please with so few reasoucres. And now i lost one of my closest friends and allies..." he said as he closed his eyes sighing again.
