Lady Terminator (1986), a gloriously demented 80's actioner. It combined Indonesian folklore, horror stories, and a total ripoff of the 1984 Terminator movie, and was even more demented than that sounds. I watch a lot of 80's dreck and most of it is forgettable, but this one was much more entertaining than usual.

Obviously not a movie, but I just finished the PBS Ken Burns Vietnam War documentary, and it was excellent. 'Nam was always "my father's war" so watching such a comprehensive and profound analysis of it was really powerful.

Hector and the Search for Happiness which is a funny movie with a good message in it.
